Good for cleaning up same amounts of loss debris around the house. My daughter uses it to clean up behind her guinea pigs.

We got this HOOVER - ONEPWR Cordless Hand Vac to take care of the little jobs around the house and in the car so we didn't have to lug around our house vacuum to jobs like stairs and car floorboards. It works AWESOME!!! we have a big black Lab who sheds like crazy and who's hair always winds up on the carpeted staircase. So using our home vacuum and going step by step up 2 flights of stairs was bothersome. I used this HOOVER - ONEPWR Cordless Hand Vac and did the stairs in a matter of minutes and it sucked up every last hair. The suction power meets the same power as our home vac. Even though this is a lightweight version of our home vac it feels very sturdy and has some weight to it. Not overwhelming weight like you would get tired doing small jobs but weight that makes you feel like you are using a sturdy, reliable hand vac. The last hand vac I owned was a B/D Dustbuster and that was junk compared to this HOOVER - ONEPWR Cordless Hand Vac. Cheaply made, low suction and low battery life made me toss that Dustbuster out after several months. This Hoover works 10x better than that brand. After first charge overnight I used it on my stairs, both mine and my wife's car, couches and chairs in the living room, dogs bed and more and no drop in suction. The battery is amazing and even after using it straight for a couple hours have not yet found the end of the battery life. It comes with one crevice attachment which works well when going in between door jams in the car but the attachment doesn't fit that firmly onto the unit and I found myself dislodging it when using the vac. Not a big deal, I will probably just leave it off and store it in our utility closet until needed. If you are locking for a great hand vac. this HOOVER - ONEPWR Cordless Hand Vac is it!

I use this to get the little crumbs my rugrats leave in the sofa. Does the job.

As soon as I got my hands on the Hoover Onepwr Cordless Hand Vac right away I went and test it out on my car. Battery took less than one hour to fully charged right out of the box. I actually prefer having a detachable battery and here are some of the reasons why. One is the ability to replace it when it starts to degrade and how it works with other Hoover products similar to Black and Decker tools. One battery compatible with multiple products it's plus on my book. Performance besides being loud it actually has some decent suction power. It performs just as well as the car wash vacuums. I was able to vacuum both of my cars and still had one 1 bar of battery left. You do have a crevice tool but even that was too big to vacuum between the seat and door crevice. I would estimate battery life to be around the 2-3hr mark. Just enough time to vacuum multiple cars. For the size, it exceeded my expectations. You can't compare it to regular size vacuum so if you're expecting that type of power you will be disappointed. Removing the trash was simple and easy to take apart. You should be able to replace the filter with ease. It works just as well indoors for small jobs without having to use the larger vacuum. If I had one complaint would be the lack of a hose attachment to vacuum those hard to reach areas. Overall if you're looking for something to accommodate your larger size vacuum for small jobs and something that can also vacuum your car you should consider this model.

A little pricey but worth it for a really good hand vac

This has been a pretty nice handheld vacuum for me after going quite a while without one. I remember having a DustBuster as a kid but that's probably been the last time. Obviously after so many years, things have improved. My favorite part of this version is the detachable battery. It makes it very easy to charge and if you want to have longer power you can just buy an extra battery to use while the dead one charges. Very nice feature here. The battery charger is also pretty compact so you can store the actual vacuum where ever you want while putting the charger somewhere with an outlet so you don't need to hang the whole vacuum on the wall or anything. Suction seems pretty good. The attachment is nice for getting into smaller spots. Some kind of brush attachment for pet hair would be nice as some problem corners where pet hair has built up is still pretty hard to tackle without brushing the hair loose. But overall, the vacuum works pretty well as it's intended. Emptying is also super simple. Just detach the front and take out the filter and dump it. So all in all, this is a pretty decent hand held vacuum. Problem spots like corners and vehicles would be the best use for it. If this fits your budget and you're looking for a decent hand held vacuum, I'd recommend it.

I really like this powerful long-lasting hand vac, but they should offer a way to mount the vac on a wall when they promote “compact and easy-to-store”. This Hoover hand vac is a long overdue replacement for our latest worn out rechargeable hand vac. The ONEPWR system with removable rechargeable batteries is nice, like my power tools. Eventually the battery I have will wear out. I like that I can replace the ONEPWR battery when that happens. I don’t have to completely replace my hand vac every other year. This vac has great suction, most powerful hand vac I’ve owned. The charge lasts a long time and pressing a button on the battery lights up 1 to 4 status lights. Fast and easy to top-off with the included battery charger but I’m still on the first charge. I’ve vacuumed the house for five days now and still on level 2 of 4. The first day I ran out of things to vacuum and couldn’t believe the battery charge status was still 4 out of 4. The lack of a charging cord/station means it isn’t hanging in a convenient place, like I am used to, out of the way. There is no place to put this thing. There is nothing molded into the bottom/back end to hang off a bracket or hook. It can hang sideways from the handle on a peg or hook. There doesn’t seem to be any type of storage holster available. It ended up on the floor, propped in a corner under the convenient wall mounted spot our old hand vacs have used for decades. The dirt cup is large, but this style has a filter you must remove before you empty the dirt. Tap out the debris and place the filter back into the cup before snapping onto the vac. The removable crevice tool is stored on the underside of the dirt cup, slips onto a tab, friction fit. The crevice tool hangs in this location and can be knocked off while using the hand vac vigorously or if the tool wasn’t placed snug on the tab. The ONEPWR hand vac is balanced well. Even with the large removable battery this vac only weighs 2 ounces more than our old vac. The cost of the replacement/extra batteries is too high but if you register your vac you get an offer for 50% off.

I tried this handheld vacuum in my car and the suction power is great. With the little flat attachment that it comes with I was able to get into the crevices and clean up the interior of my car. The battery lasts long enough for a full sweep of a car. I also tried it on my couches and was able to pick up a lot of dirt and small crumbs. There is only one power setting so you can't switch between light or heavy suction but it gets the job done. Charging the battery is really simple and dumping out the dirt is very easy as well. If you need a vacuum to clean up crevices in your car or couch then I think you will be satisfied with this vacuum.

The Hoover ONEPWR is a handy vacuum to have around the house. I’ve used it in my car, for upholstery, and steps. It charges quickly and the battery lasts long enough for jobs around the house. It does not work so well on pet hair in carpet, but, without a rotating brush, I wouldn’t expect it to. The ONEPWR is lightweight and well balanced, and the built in nozzle helps get into tight spots. A very handy vacuum and a very reasonable price.

The ease of setup and use of this hand vacuum is incredible! The light weight and great battery life allow for extended use to get at all of the tight spaces a floor vacuum can't reach! This is perfect for those quick cleanups around the house and for vacuum cobwebs from the corners and ceiling!

I love this little Hoover cordless vac! Out of the box was easy to set up and use. I did try to use it for a little with the battery life it came with but it died quickly - as I anticipated. I charged it fully and have used it to clean 4 cars, the stairs, the entryway carpet and floor area and my son's bathroom floor area and still have almost a full charge! Great batter life. I like that you can take the battery pack off and put it on the charger and check how it has charged by the indicator lights. I did have to empty the little cup often as expected and have cleaned the little filter cup too. I like the built in crevice tool that easily attaches to the bottom of the vac. I don't find it heavy at all but do wish there was a way to mount it in the garage for easy access. I may just make one out of cloth to place it in!! As for the noise factor - my old shop vac that we used to clean the cars was far noisier. The only Con I would list is that I don't think it is worth the $99 price tag, rather more like a $40 vac. I would recommend this vac though as it does the job very well!

This vacuum’s sole purpose is for cleaning the cars in the garage. I think many will have car cleaning in mind when making this purchase. The one thing I can say about the hoover vac is that it is sturdy, loud, and has powerful suction. The issue is there are so many cheap hand vacs that there needs to be more accessories and features to justify the price point. Why should anyone spend over $30 for a simple hand vac? This vac is priced between a black and decker vac and a dyson. I’d choose either of those two products over the hoover vac for different reasons. On a budget, black and decker hand vac because it’s cheap and gets the job done. Not on a budget? Get the dyson since it comes with many accessories and a wall mount. The hoover handvac doesn’t have any accessories included or a wall mount. I want to wall mount this thing in the garage to keep it off the ground, and I want some simple attachments (a furniture brush tool) so I can agitate the areas that are being vacuumed. Some lackluster features include, only an on/off switch meaning you can’t choose a low or high suction mode, the vac is heavy, the waste bin completely detaches, and the waste bin can be difficult to reattach. I think the mindset behind this product was to provide a premium product, but it falls short. Pros: -Powerful suction -rechargeable battery -kept working after dropping it once Cons: -Waste bin design is horrible -No wall mount -One battery provided -no additional cleaning tools -loud -heavy

The Hoover ONEPWR Cordless Hand Vacuum advances the hand held vacuum technology to a new level. The suction power of the Hoover ONEPWR Cordless Hand Vacuum is compatible with the suction power of a traditional upright vacuum cleaner. The only difference is the area of coverage that can be cleaned and the amount of dirt that can be held in the dirt cup. All pieces snap together with ease. There is no difficulty attaching the dirt cup, crevice tool and the battery pack. The battery easily inserts into its charger. Dirt is removed by just disconnecting the dirt cup and dumping the dirt in the trash. The filter is cleaned by removing it and tapping it in a waste basket. I am having fun picking up my small pieces of debris with my Hoover ONEPWR Cordless Hand Vacuum.
