Bought this for wife in an effort to cut the cord! Bought other Hoover vacs with good success. Thought this might be another good buy. With this, I bought an extra 4.0ah battery which was another $70. Charge both batteries before use. Wife tried it out for the first time and barely got 15 minutes. We changed over to the other battery and got the same runtime from that battery as the first. Only getting a bit over 30 minutes runtime with two batteries is not my idea of a good value having spent over $200. I contacted Hoover, but they provided me with a “scripted” version that was the equivalent of “Battery charging for dummies” which I did not really appreciate. This is a lesson learned as I should have bought the Stihl blower that I had been looking at at my local dealer. One other thing to note is that the opening of the discharge tube is too large which reduces the velocity of air coming out. It needs to have an extension that can be attached that has a reduced opening which will increase the velocity of air. Surprised that their engineers were not smart enough to figure that one out. I like BestBuy and have had good luck for the most part, but this item was not worth the money whatsoever. Very disappointed.

Effective, Efficient, and Simple to Use!

The OnePwr Cordless Blower will most certainly make your yard work a whole lot easier. It takes the chore out of the work. It’s one of those items that you don’t realize you need it until you get it, use it and see how much more effective you are with it. I’ve had my blower for just about a week now and I’ve used it a couple times and I simply love the simplicity of use. My OnePwr arrived well packaged in a small appropriate sized box. The unattached items were neatly placed in the box and fit in their respective spaces and were easy to take out of the box, one step at a time. All enclosed items were light in weight so that most adults, regardless of gender, are able to handle them with ease. I laid out all of the items contained in the box and read the quick start guide first. The battery and charger were connected together so there was need to search the box for items that are meant to fit together before getting started. It made setting items up for examination and inspection of included items a breeze. The blower is extremely easy to assemble. Items, such as the blower tube and battery snap in place with little effort. Once they are properly snapped in place, they are locked and stay locked until you press the release buttons to remove them. I recommend that you take a few minutes to not only ready the quick start guide, but that you read the necessary pages in the manual as well. It is quick read, but it’s important to read. Had I only read the quick start guide, it would not have known about the necessary charging of the battery before using it. The battery came with some power and I assumed it was for initial testing. However, after reading the manual, I read that the battery needed to be charged before use. I would have been helpful for the quick start guide to include the recommendation to charge the battery for about three hours and to ensure that it is fully charged. The battery came with some power and most people may attempt to use it first before they charge it. The battery charging unit is easy to use as you simply plug in the attached included AC adaptor and sit it upright. The battery attaches just as it does on the blower unit with ease and it snaps and locks in place just as it does on the blower. There are LED lights on the battery pack and the charging unit that indicates it’s charging and blinks on the battery and blinks until it is fully charged and then lights are solid (white in color) for a short period and then go off. This is an easy way to visually inspect that the battery is fully charged. If the battery is not properly placed for charging you will see a red light on the charging base until the battery is properly placed for charging. The blower does not have an on and off button to be concerned with. When you are ready to use it, you simply press the trigger and you also have access to the variable speed controls adjusted based on the pressure on the trigger. You simple hold the trigger in place and select the most effective speed needed to get the job done. When you’re done release the trigger and the blower stops. The blower is extremely comfortable to use when you use it in the recommended proper operational position as it just feels natural. The ergonomic handle allows you to easily move around as you blow debris to an area of your choose. The varying speeds allow for you to slowly and softly blow the debris in a nice pile in a corner and pick them up to be discarded or used for compost. I’m able to clean my front porch and lawn, backyard and surrounding areas and keep them clear and clean without a fuss or hassle. I was able to move some fairly dense debris (small seeds/balls from my neighbors tree that fall into my yard on a daily basis) in just a matter of minutes. The model I chose and own has a leaf scraper on the bottom end of the blower tube which can be used to remove items that are stuck on a surface that the air pressure power blower is unable to remove with just pressured air. I used it and it works fine. The blower also allows me to save/conserve water by air blowing items instead of using water pressure to clean areas around my house or my window screens. Make no mistakes, this is a high performance blower with air pressure up to 95mph. It is cordless and convenient, fast, effective and efficient, easy to use to remove dust, leaves, dirt and other debris. In the past, often times I found sweeping to be a boring chore, but the ONEPWR makes cleaning up outside easier and allows for me to do it more frequently.

I'm used to using my wired blower/vac but it's getting old so I was interested in testing this blower out. While I'm happy with some things and going cordless proved to have some real advantages, I'm not sure yet whether I could completely replace my old device with this. Pros: It does have a lot of power, surprisingly so for a battery operated unit. I don't feel like it's more powerful than my wired unit, but I did notice that I was able to get the job done considerably faster because I wasn't constantly dragging an extension cord around or having to untangle it. I hadn't realized how much time I spent doing this until I realized I was almost done in the time it would have taken to get half the lawn cleared. The unit is deceptively light and well balanced. Even with the large battery, it seems lighter than my wired unit - again, this might be because I'm not dragging the extension around. Battery seems to hold enough power to do the average suburban back and front yard but I'll probably buy an extra battery because no one wants to stop half way through. The blowing pattern seems to be a little more defined and less random, which also helped make the job go faster. Cons: So far the only real con I can see is that this is JUST a blower (which is ironic since the Hoover name is usually associated with vacuums). In my backyard, I really need to use a vac once I get all of the leaves corralled since the volume of leaves I get makes it hard to either blow to the front or carry out with a tarp. And once I get the leaves to the curb, being able to vac mulch them makes for a much more manageable pile. Also, I use an amount of those mulched leaves in my gardens. So not being able to vac mulch means that I can't totally replace my old unit with this one. Now for me, that's a trade off I think I'm willing to deal with for a blower that's easier and more efficient to use as well as being easier on my back and shoulders. But it's worth mentioning because some people won't want to buy two different units for their small yard. In my case, I can still use the vac I have after doing the majority of the work with the Hoover. I'm pleased with the performance over all though and would definitely recommend it.

This blower is exactly what I was looking for. I live in a condo with a private patio and garage. After this fall, I had leaves and other remnants of autumn in all the places that the HOA is unwilling to address with their yard crew so I knew I would need something for my own use that was powerful yet space saving and not obnoxiously loud. This meets the bill in all of those regards. Set up could not have been easier. I pulled it out of the box, attached the blower extension, and inserted the battery which-gratefully, already had enough juice in it to clean my patio. It has a variable speed trigger which allows you to control how fast (powerful) it is. I would call this unit light enough for most anyone to use in its intended one handed fashion for an extended period of time, except for those perhaps with severe arthritis in their hands. The ONEPWR battery system appears elegant in its usefulness. I like the idea of getting their hand vacuum and full sized wet/dry vacuum as these tool use the same battery. Overall, I am very satisfied with this blower and I cannot recommend it enough if you are looking for an efficient, space saving portable and rechargeable blower!

    Great Yard Blower

For Medium to Light tasks. Light-weight and convenient, this Hoover rechargeable blower leaf blower is easy to hold and use, very well balanced. Charging was straight forward, I allowed for four hours of charging, it indicated full after three hours. A full charge lasted long enough to blow (dry) leaves off of two driveways, two front sidewalks, and two good sized patios and still had a little bit left. It was a 'Breeze' and had no difficulty clearing the dry stuff. It would be the perfect tool for those with an artificial grass yard where the primary maintenance is blowing off the yard. While you might want to use a heavier-duty corded blower for heavier or wet debris, this is more than adequate for light to medium duty needs and those with smaller outdoor spaces, and it's so convenient not to be tethered by a cord. I currently don't own any of the other products that share batteries but will definitely be researching them. Good Product.

Very happy with this blower. It is small, lightweight and powerful. I've been using it to clear light snow off of the walkway and deck and it works great. If you run it at full power all the time, you will see the battery run down pretty fast. Hold the trigger half way or so and you will get longer battery life. For clearing snow, that has been all I need. If I were clearing a lot of leaves, I would probably want a second battery ready to go (I plan to pick one up). Not that a blower can really ever be considered quiet, but I was surprised that it isn't noisier than it is. It is lightweight enough for anyone to use. This can be a big plus for anyone with back or shoulder pains or other aches & pains that would have an issue with a big & heavy gas blower. All in all, for the price and the Hoover name I don't think you can go wrong with this blower.
