Powerful Cordless Vac!

It looks like some futuristic gun or something, straight out of Star Wars! Jokes aside, this thing is seriously powerful. It's lightweight, has a good build and does the job.
Power - Great suction and easy to maneuver. It's handheld, so it was easy to move it along the area that needed cleaning. I tested it in my daughter's high chair and under and was surprised with it's performance. Normally I have to pick the items out of the high chair, brush those to the floor and then grab a broom, followed by the dustpan and so forth. No longer do I have to do this! It was super easy to just press the button and aim it on the chair and then under it to clean. It did a fantastic job.
Debris Bin - I wish it could be a little larger, but it's a handheld device not a large vacuum. Can't really complain much about it being compact.
Filter - Obviously with it being a cordless portable vac, it has a small filter. In my opinion it can be a little larger, but it's ok. My only issue is that the vacuum will automatically turns itself off if it detects it needs a cleaning. You can rinse the filter with water and have to wait 24 hours before using it again. To me, that's a bit of an inconvenience having to wait a whole day before using it again. Part of me says it's ok, but the other half thinks it's annoying. Again, just stating both of those facts to help people. I'm looking into multiple filters so I can keep cleaning if it happens again.
Pros:
Battery Life
Look
Feel in hand
Quick Charge
Powerful!
Multiple attachments
Cons:
High Pitch Buzz
Small debris bin
Battery Charger is large
Price
Turns off if filter is dirty
I recommend this cordless vacuum. It's on the pricey side compared to some competitors, but it's power is worth the extra bucks. It's got a powerful suction and great battery life. My only issue is that it automatically turns off, if it detects the filter is dirty. You rinse it under water and have to allow 24 hours for it to dry. I'll probably look into multiple filters to avoid this inconvenience.

Portable, Powerful, Practical, Cordless Hand Vac

Let me begin by stating this is a Portable, Rechargeable, Battery-Powered Cordless, Hand Vac designed and engineered by Hoover. For over 112 years Hoover has been the leader and innovator in vacuum sweeper and floor care technology. So, when I had the opportunity to review this Hoover OnePWR Dust Chaser Cordless Hand Vac in exchange for the product I was excited. I felt confident that this machine was going to be far more superior in performance and quality compared to my last four portable hand vacs. To be honest I never spent over Thirty Dollars for anyone of them, I got what I paid for. YUK!
This Hoover OnePWR Cordless Dust Chaser is a quality-built hand vac. It is so much more powerful then the more 'inexpensive' hand vacs I purchased in the past. Two of my last hand vacs were 'Plug-In', and, the last two battery-powered. There is NO comparison to the vacuuming power. This Hoover is so much more powerful. I do not have to repeatedly go over the same area to vacuum debris. This Hoover Dust Chaser gets it clean the very first time. WooHoo!
So, why do I think this Hoover OnePWR Dust Chaser Cordless Hand Vac is superior:
** POWERFUL HAND VAC – Not having to go over the same area repeatedly to vacuum is a big plus for me. It gets up dust, debris, and pet hair the first time. Using the right tool for each application is the key for a thorough clean-up. Hoover claims the Dust Chaser has two times more suction then its other less expensive portable, hand held vacuum cleaner. This unit has a powerful, digital motor.
** CORDLESS CONVENIENCE – I can take this hand vac anywhere in and around my house for thorough spot cleaning. No hanging, dangling, tripping, electrical cords needed. . What is impressive is that as the battery runs down there is no 'fading', or, reduction of power. If there is a clog, loss of suction, or dirty filter the Power Button will flash. How cool is that?
** MULTI-PURPOSE TOOLS – This Hoover hand vac includes a 2-in-1 Dusting and Crevice Tool along with a handy Upholstery Tool. The Crevice Tool features a 'fold-down' dusting extension for convenience. The Upholstery Tool features micro-brushes for deep down vacuuming. The tool attachments simply click in and pull out when changing.
** LIGHTWEIGHT & SENIOR FRIENDLY – This Hoover Dust Chaser weighs approximately three pounds. It can easily be carried anywhere around my home. I love the fact that it is also 'Senior-Friendly' because it is so light, easy to use in either of my hands. This is a great hand vac for folks like me with Arthritis, or with limited physical abilities. YooHoo!
** FILTRATION - Dual Filtration with HEPA Media and captures 99.97% of dust, dirt and allergens down to 0.3 microns. WoW!. Convenient snap-on, bagless, dirt chamber. There also is a separate enclosure for the foam, washable/rinsable filter.
** PRACTICAL EVERYDAY CLEANING – I use this Hoover Dust Chaser for almost everything my regular vacuum cleaner cannot get to because of tight spaces or the inconvenience of running an electrical cord. It is definitely the 'Go-To' vac for my car. But, I also use this Hoover Dust Chaser to reach deep into my clothes-dryer filter housing to vacuum up the stubborn lint bunnies, sliding glass door tracks, condenser coils under my refrigerator, nooks and crannies under my cabinets and appliances. Super!
** RECHARGEABLE BATTERY – Included with this Hoover Dust Chaser is ONEPWR™ 2.0 Ah Lithium-Ion Battery and Charger. I get approximately 20 minutes of use for vacuuming when my battery is fully charged, and, it takes over two hours to completely charge. The included charger is simple to use and has LED lights, which indicate battery charge status.
** MAINTENANCE – The Dirt Cup is easily removed using one hand. Just press the 'Dirt Cup Release' and push forward at the same time. The Dirt Cup can be emptied in my trash at any time, especially since it is semi-clear so I can tell when it needs emptying. As mentioned earlier the Power Button will flash when the unit is clogged (full). It does NOT hold a big volume of debris so be aware of amount of debris in the Dirt Cup. The first stage Stainless Steel filter can be cleaned easily just by shaking, or rinsing if needed. The Foam Filter is in the back of the unit near the Battery Housing. Simply slide the Light Grey Release Latch to access the foam filter. It can be rinsed thoroughly and let to dry for approximately 24 hours for continued use.
** SUMMARY – I love the convenience, power, and ease of use of this Hoover Dust Chaser Hand Vac. You certainly can buy less expensive units, but will they match the performance and quality of this Hoover? I found out after buying four inferior units and now am a 'believer'. Hoover backs up this unit with a Three-Year Warranty. None of the prior units I purchased ever had warranties, let alone replacement parts available. This Hoover Hand Vac would make a great gift, especially for a Senior, family member, or friend, who has some limited hand strengths and agility.

This is my second Hoover ONEPWR system product that I own, and I just have to say I am continuing to be impressed by the quality and utility of this lineup of products from Hoover! I have the handheld leafblower that included a 4.0Ah battery (twice the capacity of the 2.0Ah battery included with this vacuum, albeit somewhat heavier) and I am super impressed with this little handheld vacuum.
I can’t say enough good things about this. It is lightweight and very easy to maneuver in tight spaces and above or below one’s midline while vacuuming. It is actually impressively powerful, sucking up the baked-on dogfood on my truck’s floormat with ease and with the included attachments is as versatile for cleanup and tidying up jobs as it is easy to use. I really like the extended length tip that has the flip-into-place brush for cleaning my truck. Getting into cupholders, those annoying spots right at the sides of the seats that carwash vacuums can never reach (you know what I am talking about) is easy with this thing. Those annoying minor spills or accidents of crunched cereal under the dinner table or flour spills no longer requiring breaking out the broom or full-sized vacuum with this thing! Call me lazy, but I am a male who maintains a beard--trimming it often—and I love just vacuuming up the stray hairs on the sides of the sink that are causalities of my trimming. Super convenient!
The included 2.0Ah battery is great, but what is neat about these ONEPWR products is you can go for a larger battery to increase runtime or if you have other ONEPWR tools that have batteries charged up while you are waiting for the included battery to charge. I put my leafblower’s 4.0Ah battery on this vacuum and sure enough it worked without issue!
The utility and cleanup of this vacuum is absolutely excellent. The dirt cup is of reasonable size and is easy to empty out. The filter is easily removed and can be washed under tapwater and left to dry.
I think this vacuum is further evidence that Hoover is making a lineup of products that are intended to be easy to use, have a long service life, and are meant to be versatile. I highly recommend this vacuum, especially if you are interested in the other ONEPWR products in the lineup as I am and can benefit from the utilitarian excellence of these products!

This is a good handy light weight vacuum for pet owners for a quick clean. The HEPA filter does a good job in trapping pet hair and dander, love the upholster attachment. Good for travel and took it with me when I went on a road trip. Used it for quick car clean ups when I hit the beach. Suction power above average but not as strong enough as the ones I currently own. Its a pricey for a little above average vacuum cleaner, but a good handy tool for small jobs - cleaning electronic equipment, air vents, and car interior. It can easily get into the tight corners, easy to hold and maneuver. It has a long lasting battery (30+ mins) with a quick charger. . Hoover makes quality products, own a carpet cleaner and had it for several years, and never had any issues with it.

BLAST DUST BUNNIES or STORMTROOPERS EASILY
REVIEW: Hoover ONEPWR DUST CHASER CORDLESS HANDHELD VACUUM
Best Buy Tech Insider Network
SUMMARY:
Futuristic Shaped Mini Vac. Works great for small but important jobs. Even with attachments most vacs can’t get into the nooks and crannies of everyday living. Enter the mini vac that any Stormtrooper would love. Where this vac really excels is getting those nooks and crannies that your big vacuums can’t reach. It is a bit of a specialty tool, but that is OK. On a single charge, I cleaned two flights of wood stairs, and all of our outdoor patio furniture as well as our entrance between our backyard and kitchen. After about 30-40 minutes of near continuous operation I had to stop, but not because of the battery (it was still at 50%), but because the pack of cards sized dust collector was full. Thus proving it works, has high suction and does a pretty darn good job (see pictures).
I plan to use this ongoing for The Pool Table, The Wood Stairs, The Baseboards that collect dust and more. I definitely recommend it for smaller surface areas with the smallest accessory.
UNBOXING: (see picture)
INITIAL IMPRESSIONS:
Obviously the first thing we did was to chase each other around the house like it was a laser. How could you not draw that conclusion? Once we got that out of our system, we charged it and set out to test it. Since I do many of my review photos on the pool table, I wanted to clean that up, especially the hard to reach areas under the bumpers.
USAGE:
The best suctions is with the smallest (long) accessory tool. The fold out brush is really cool and a smart touch. This did a great job on the stairs, but it took forever because the accessory is so small. My brilliant wife suggested I use the wide tool attachment instead (duh) and that worked great for all the surface dust, but I still had to revert back to the small tool for corners and joints. By the 11th stair the weight of carrying it around including the battery pack was starting to fatigue my wrist forcing me to change hands.
Likewise, when I tried it on my patio furniture the wide tool only did an OK job and I had to revert back to the narrow tool to get the more stubborn dirt up off the cushions. So this means that if you want deep cleaning you need to work on an area about the size of a quarter.
SUMMARY:
This is not going to replace your everyday vac, but is a great supplement for those hard to reach places. Using the smallest opening tool, I can say this is the best battery powered hand vac I have used. Using the wider tool, it is just OK and average. I have some other tools from this line and it nice to have batteries to share between them. (Hoover ONEPWR). Cleaning and emptying the dirt chamber was easy (once I followed the instructions)/

This is by far the most powerful handheld cordless vacuum I’ve ever owned. Calling it a “duster” is an understatement. It works as advertised, picking up more than just dust, crumbs, chips, food particles that are small enough to fit through the crevice tool, sand and small rocks from the car mats, etc. I was installing a new ceiling fan and vacuuming the old fan blades and didn’t realize the suction was so strong, it picked up a good size, pretty heavy screw - see attached picture. The included HEPA filter is also rinsable, so no expensive replacement is needed.
The 2 Ah Lithion Ion battery is great, easily holding a steady charge for at least 30 minutes of use. I like that it is removable and it comes with a separate charger, so if you have any of the other compatible Hoover ONEPWR vacuums, it is interchangeable.

Mixed feelings about this one—but works as a vac

Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Overall—Where to start with this one? For starters, to clarify any possible misconceptions from my headline the vac does certainly work as it should. But somewhere along the way the concept of design and execution went astray.
Design—Overall, the design feels well rounded out. Replacing filters is very simple—a quick button or slider and out into the dust bin. But, there are other areas where things don't feel so well thought out. For one, using the included attachments is problematic, for lack of a better word.
The included upholstery brush attachment, although theoretically works, the attached bristles are simply glued on. Using it as anything other than its intended purpose would be unrealistic. To expand upon this, the first day received I tested it by vacuuming the seats and floor mats of my car. Brushing them with this tool lead to the adhesive beginning to peel. I stopped using it in this manner as I’d have no tool to test with other surfaces for the remaining of my time with the product. The second attachment, the crevice/fine tip, works perfectly as a fine tip on edges or the floor. However, switching to the brush crevice tool is a different story. The bristles easily break off and if you want to spare them from doing so hitting the surface from an angle works a bit. The problem with that stems from a decent loss of suction. I suppose a 2 pass method would solve this however, this is most certainly a purchase to simplify our lives and adding this burden makes no difference than carrying around a heavy or corded vac. Once realizing the shortcomings of the attachments I proceeded with using the tip of the vacuum on the floor, seats, and all other surfaces of the car. This worked extremely well, much better than the included attachments.
After encountering the issues with the attachments a quick search online revealed that no retailer offers any attachments for this. That’s a problem, the attachments are a special polygonal shape—not round like your typical vacuum attachment. The odds of finding an attachment from another vac, either from Hoover or a different brand, that fits is slim to none at all.
Performance—The actual suction force is impressive. I’d like to compare it with a full upright vac but that wouldn’t be a fair comparison. Prior to ownership of the handheld ONEPWR dust chaser I’ve only owned one portable vac that I don’t even recall the brand of since it has been so long since. Lets just say it left a bad impression of handhelds for me. With that said, I do not believe I am a stranger to vacuums as my primary equipment is a name brand upright dust beast and a well known reputable robovac that handles most tasks on a schedule.
The dust chaser, however, does handle all sorts of filth from dust, dirt, and hair (pet or human).
Specs state 30 minute runtime but I seem to get slightly more than that—I assume that’s a good thing unless I’m doing something incorrectly lol.
Past the good, I only encountered 1 issue in this area. Either the filters don’t work as intended or the blower inside is more powerful than the filters are rated for. In my tests, I noticed that once I used it on a surface with lots of dust (door mats, wheel well carpeting, etc) I began getting more intermittent shutdowns with the blinking light. Manual and stickers on the handle point to airway clogs in the vac. This, however, doesn’t go away so quickly as I’ve rinsed the filter and cleaned out the pathway for the vac.
Conclusion—Although, I do believe this to be a good handheld vac for powerful suction, and overall good performance. There are still the few issues from cheap attachments and lack of additional availability. But most troubling, the intermittent shut-offs which I cannot really assess from the short time span of ownership. It’s entirely possible that the unit I received is from a bad batch and the average unit suffers from no issues. I’d really like to believe that as it works exceptionally well—not to mention the high stars at Hoover. But as it stands I cannot fully endorse the product and have to give a mid cautionary rating.

If Stormtroopers had a vacuum attachment this would be it. This thing is sleek and snow white. Streamlined and slender in comparison to other handheld rechargeable vacs I've used in the past. Specifically the collection compartment for dirt and trash that's collected.
It comes with some useful attachments especially for use of cleaning inside your vehicle. It's what I mainly used it for. In this day and age I would have hoped for a quicker charge to full capacity. But that's about the only knock I'd give this,
The suction is excellent. I got about a half an hour out of it on a full charge. With it being so narrow it did make it easier to get into the smaller and harder to reach spaces unlike the thicker bulkier ones I've had before. Overall I'd definitely recommend this to others!

--- SETUP ---
The Hoover ONEPWR cordless vacuum is quick to set up. All the components come neatly packed. The various add ons are easy to insert and remove. Charge the battery and you are ready to go in about 2 hours.
--- FEATURES ---
This vacuum has two add ons, one for upholstery and a duster for vacuuming keyboards and hard-to-reach areas. The battery has a light indicator telling you how much charge it has remaining. Being part of Hoover’s ONEPWR family of devices, the battery works with other ONEPWR Hoover products.
--- PERFORMANCE ---
After it finished charging, I immediately went to try vacuuming around the cats’ litter box. Everything was picked up. Next, I tackled the cat food area and it did a quick job of things. Finally, I used the upholstery tool to vacuum the couch and cat-play towers and it picked up a lot of the cat fur that is hard to see. Being cordless is a welcoming feature when transitioning to my vehicle to vacuum the inside. I was happy with the results. The motor isn’t so loud that it scares the cats, so that was a plus. I have another ONEPWR Hoover device, a leaf blower. I switched out the batteries with each just to test compatibility and both items worked.
--- EXPECTATIONS ---
The battery has lasted the multiple times I’ve used it and knowing that I already have a second backup battery from another Hoover product makes me feel confident on using it until it truly runs out. The container can hold a good amount of dust and trash, considering it’s a hand vacuum. There are easy to follow instructions on cleaning the filter with water when the time comes.
--- VALUE ---
The price for this vacuum will surely pay off with the number of times it will get used. It will be my go-to choice to clean after the pets for whatever my robot vacuum has a hard time reaching.
--- APPROVAL ---
I recommend this cordless vacuum to people who might have pets that need quick on-the-spot cleaning. Also, it’s great to give a quick cleanup to cars. I’m looking at you, app drivers.

It's a Hoover and It Works Great!

The ONEPWR DustChaser Hand Vacuum, may look a little odd, but it’s one of the best hand-held vacuums I’ve used. Hoover says its designed to make cleaning easier and more convenient. I mostly agree with that statement.
Weighing in at 2.5 lbs., with its odd shape, I find it very ergonomic in my hand and it can get into tight spaces most hand-held vacuums won’t. The vacuum has 2 times more suction than most other hand-helds and I’ve managed to use this in places I haven’t been able to get to easily with anything else I own, such as in between and under the car seats, something almost impossible with other devices.
Hoover equipped the DustChaser with a dual stage filtration system with HEPA Media. This means it is engineered for use in a wide range of clean air applications which provide high available efficiency at a minimal resistance to air flow. Translation? It cleans well and doesn’t let dust or dirt get into the air around you as it does its job. Its bagless and simple to empty. The motor was designed to provide consistently powerful suction without fading, while capturing almost 100% of the dust, dirt, and allergens down to 0.3 microns. That is smaller than you can possible see!
It comes well packaged and includes a battery and battery charger as well as multi-purpose tools, including a built-in extended nozzle, a 2-in-1 dusting/crevice tool and an upholstery tool. The battery is Lithium Ion and its more suitable for small jobs, which is to be expected of a cordless hand-held device. I got a little more than 30 minutes of time on a single charge. If you need more time, you may need to invest in a second battery as the time to fully charge from discharge is close to 2 hours.
Overall, I really like this Hoover DustChaser. If there was anything I would change, it would be for the battery to last a little longer and it doesn’t come with a wall mount of any kind. With its somewhat odd shape, finding a good place to store it takes some thought. Otherwise, it feels good in my hand. It gets into places most other’s can’t and it offers powerful suction, with great filtration.
Ultimately, it’s a Hoover and Hoover has been in the vacuum business since 1908, so you know you’re getting technology more than a century in the making. And that's a very good thing indeed!

Hoover advertises 2x more suction than their previous hand held model. While I never used the previous hoover model, I have used other "dust buster" and handheld vacuums, and this one actually has real suction. This cordless hand vacuum had no problem picking up anything in its path. It vacuumed up sand, leaving no trail and larger items like cereal and popcorn with ease. It was even able to suck up small stones and pebbles, from my car floor in seconds.
For my first use, I headed out straight to the car. I had been wanting to vacuum it for the past 2 weeks. I wasn't sure how long the battery would last, as I was just using the standard 2.0 Ah battery that came with the unit, so I took my time trying to get every part of the floor.
The dirt cup/reservoir looks kinda small, so I thought that might hold me back. It turns out that before the dirt cup was even halfway full, I noticed a loss in suction. A lot of the sand and tiny particles had clogged all the holes in the dirt cup filter, restricting the airflow. It was an easy enough fix to quickly empty the cup, and return to my vacuuming. I ended up emptying the cup twice, before the battery died on me. The second time, the cup filled up with more debris, as there was less sand to clover the holes. The vacuum ran for about 15 continuous minutes on a full charge. I was able to get 3 out of the 4 floor mats and carpet clean. Now that I know about how long it runs, the next time I will pace myself better to complete the task.
The cool thing about the Hoover OnePwr systems is that all the batteries and chargers will work with all of the hoover OnePwr devices. So I was thinking about buying the 3.0 Ah or 4.0 Ah batteries to increase my run time. The 3.0 Ah battery adds 50% more run time, and the 4.0 offers 2x the run time.It took just slightly over an hour to charge the 2.0 Ah battery with the default charger. It advertises charging in under 3.5hours, but it must depend on the size of the battery, the 3.5 hours must be for the largest capacity battery in their system.
The vacuum weighs less than 3lbs, and feels it. It is very easy to carry and move around. The 2 attachments that come with the vacuum work great, and the extender even has a dust brush tip that can be swiveled into position for use, or swiveled back to keep out of the way. To keep the weight low, the attachments have no storage mounts on the vacuum. I keep mine next to the charger, so I don't forget where I stored them. The extender wand works great at focusing the suction, and giving you the added reach to get between tight places. My biggest complaint about the extender wand, is that there is no flexibility in the wand, it is very rigid. I actually had a hard time trying to angle the 27" long vacuum( with the extension wand), between and around some of the seats. I would love to see an extension wand that is a flexible hose, for tighter angles.
The design of the vacuum is very modern, and looks great. The handle is at a very comfortable angle and the overall feel is great. Although I do have one small complaint about the convenient power button location. It is actually too convenient, they have placed it on the actual handle making it easy to reach with your thumb. However, I found myself constantly turning the unit off, as I would reposition my thumb for a tighter grip or different angle against the rug. I would love to see that moved up further, so it is just slightly out of reach, while holding the handle.
One of the big bonus features about the unit, is that it has a Hepa capture rating of 99.97%. This is great, as it keeps all the dust and sandy particles from being pushed back into the air around you, as you are working. Both of the filters can be brushed off, and or cleaned with water. Keep in mind, you should wait 24 hours before use, to prevent water damage inside the unit.
Lastly, I would like to mention the sound output of the device. It is a little high pitched. It sounds very similar to a larger Hoover vacuum if you had shrunken it. It reminded me of the cartoons where someone gets shrunk, and their voice gets squeakier yet softer at the same time. The sound is definitely not as loud as a full size vacuum, so if you can handle that, you can definitely handle this.
Even with a few complaints, I still think this is an outstanding hand vac! I have literally been waiting years to get something of this caliber in a mini vac!The performance definitely outweighs the negatives!

Daily Dust Chaser

OVERVIEW
Hoover’s ONEPWR Dust Chaser is a useful tool to have around the house. Its powerful suction handles dust, hair, and other debris very well. Both attachments come in handy. The battery charges in a few hours and it comes with a sleek little hub. All in all, a good tool to use regularly even with its few downfalls.
DAILY USE
I use this handheld vacuum daily from 5 to 20 minutes a day. It took 5 days for the power button to flash (and cut the power short) letting me know that either the filter needed cleaning or the vacuum was clogged. The battery was also low so I remedied all 3 issues and had no problems aftewards. The fans on either side (close to the handle) will sometimes push debris around but I’m still able to vacuum with few issues.
DIRT CUP
Cleaning the dirt cup is not exactly “flip and dump”. The debris gets caught on or behind the flap inside the cup. I have to use a stick tool to get everything out. I wish the cup was a little bigger both for debris storage and maybe easier cleaning of the cup itself, but I’ve been making it work.
FILTER
The Dual Filtration with HEPA Media is stated to capture 99.97% of dust, pet dander, and allergens which is great for me because I have a shedding dog and dust allergies. The filter (behind the battery) is tricky to get out. The filter’s metal handle is very thin and can become dislodged from the filter casing. One end of the handle is lodged in a rubber material, the other end in plastic material. The thin metal ripped through the rubber material easily. I was able to get the filter out eventually to clean it.
FINAL THOUGHTS
The vacuum itself works really well so overall I am satisfied with the product. However, I do wish the filter, filter area, and dirt cup were easier to clean. I’ve managed to incorporate the Hoover Dust Chaser into my day to day. It’s really nice to not have to plug in a big vacuum to simply get rid of dust and hair in the corners of my living areas. I put this handheld vacuum to the test and it always picked up debris with power.

This is a quirky little hand vac. At first glance, it looks like a firearm from a sci-fi movie. Once you attach the battery and turn it on, you soon realize just how powerful the suction is for such a small unit.
And that comes with some trade-offs. The first thing I noticed is that the vac is difficult to hold. The handle felt a little small for my larger hands, but it was also slippery and easy to lose my grip. Some rubber grip padding would have eliminated that problem, but that wouldn't address the other issue: balance. The OnePWR battery holds a good charge, but it also has some weight to it.
Using the vac felt a little unnatural and cumbersome because of its slippery small handle and bad weight distribution. This wasn't too annoying for short vacuum bursts; but for longer runs, I could feel the vac slipping out of my hands. I ended up having to use two hands - sawed off shotgun style - to help offset the balance.
My only other complaint is that the dust bin seems a bit small, but it's OK since I mostly use it for quick spot jobs.
There were also many things I like about this hand vac:
1) Powerful suction
2) Sleek design
3) The battery charges fairly quickly
4) Filters that are easy to access and clean.
5) A power level meter on the battery (seriously, it helps so much!)
6) A swappable battery (the OnePWR system)
If it weren't for the uncomfortable weight distribution and slippery grip, this would be a close-to-perfect compact cordless hand vac.

My wife asked for this for Christmas.
I don't know why, but she did.
It works great, holds a good charge. Have been using it for the car and some stuff around the house. Haven't run it for a long time but will at some point to find out battery life.

I love this hand power vacuum. Works great on hard to reach areas the battery is pretty good also. It can be used for about 30 minutes of continuous use.
