Unboxing the FloorMate the first thing you notice is the quality of the build. You have to assemble the handle which just snaps right in; it fits tight and feels solid. The flexible head feels sturdy and strong. The brush rollers (there are two to choose from, Multi-purpose and Gentile, however its difficult to tell the difference) drop in and fit with a solid click. After charging the battery, which took over an hour, I filled up the container and set out mopping the kitchen. I love that you don’t have to sweep first. There is a white headlight and blue lights on the side that come on when you are spraying cleaner, which is difficult to see spraying from the nozzle. I had to use a fair amount of solution on the floor to get some of the stuck-on dirt picked up. I would have liked the roller brush to be a bit stiffer for this application. The FloorMate excelled at picking up the solution and left the floor almost dry, taking only another 5 minutes or so to be completely dry. Cleaning my average size kitchen took about 10 minutes used two notches on the battery meter which puts it exactly at the advertised 20 minute run time. Cleaning the FloorMate was simple, remove, empty and rinse the collection container, take the brush roller out, rinse and dry. There is a rinse and storage tray to hold the unit. I’ve had previous Hoover battery operated products and have had bad luck with them so hopefully, the ONEPWR will change my mind. Overall, the ONEPWR FloorMate Jet is a well-built cleaner that is only limited by the battery life, 20 minutes run time and about 6 months – year lifespan depending on use. I was impressed with how it picked up the cleaning solution and got the floor dry but was disappointed with the hardness of the multi-purpose brush and wonder what you would even use the softer Gentile roller for. Although I question the usefulness of products like this, I give it a rating of four stars and would recommend it if you feel this type of product fits your lifestyle.

It’s horrible, when you use the wet feature the suction hole gets muddy and it’s very small so it ends up clogging the vacuum also it’s not easy to clean at! Very disappointed especially because of price.

After 4 months, the sprayer doesn’t work. I always used the correct cleaner with it and used it a couple times a week. It requires lots of maintenance cleaning. It begins to smell really bad even after you clean the dirty water collector.

This floor is a piece of junk. You lose all of the solutions when you try to fill the reservoir. No instructions included. Very Poor Design.

As a homeowner, who has both hard wood surfaces, carpeted surfaces and linoleum surfaces, I was excited to put this vacuum through its paces. Firstly, set up of this device was super simple. In order to put it together, I snapped in the handle, charged its battery and popped it into the top of the vacuum. In preparation of it to clean, I installed one of the cleaner heads, filled the bottle with water and the included cleaner solution and it was ready to go! My first stop was in the kitchen, which has a linoleum surface; therefore, I employed the spray, trigger and clean actions. This vacuum really did a thorough job of deep cleaning of my kitchen floor. While in the process of cleaning, I found the machine to be easily maneuverable and light. I was afraid, I would get trigger happy and spray all over the place, but I did not. My next targeted area was my hard wood section of my home. I am pleased to report, that this vacuum did an outstanding job on cleaning my hard wood thoroughly and efficiently. This machine has certainly lived up to its name of “One Power Floor Mate Jet” as it does a great job of handling multiple surfaces of a home in a timely and efficient manner.

Don't buy if you have pets that shed. Filter clogs within 30 seconds with pet hair resulting in loss of suction. Returned.

Vacuum sucks. Especially mid tiy have animals. Barely picks up anything. I’m better off with the broom

For the price the quality of the vacuum/cleaner, it does not work. It did not clean/vacuum very well. I would not recommend purchasing this item.

Have now used 2 of these and combined haven't made it past a year. Waste of money go for something else.

Not very efficient for cleaning. During use the dirt comes out of the vacuum.I’m very disappointed.

This item does not work well at all. Doesn't even get the floor remotely clean.

I received this product to review and it's a great product. I have large sections of my house that are hardwood and that's where this thing shines. It super easy to set up and operate. Press the trigger for cleaning solution on the forward stroke, squeegee vacuum clean on the reverse. It does go through solution pretty quickly even in my slightly larger than normal master bathroom and the battery depletes pretty fast on High power setting. I'd probably invest in a second battery pack to minimize the wait between sections of the house. Over I really enjoy the Hoover ONEPWR FloorMate JET. It's easy to pull out and vacuum and mop up the quick spills. Maybe they'll develop a steam variant to really get that clean feeling!

Top heavy, no suction power to a point that it left a trail of water.

I must say I was very excited about Hoover ONEPWR FloorMate Jet. The setup was very simple and quick Which is always a plus. The battery needed to be charged, that was no problem because the battery charges very fast. It includes a bottle of solution. So you can start cleaning immediately. I used it in the kitchen just on everyday traffic cleanup. It started well but the battery does not last long at all. And the dirty water reservoir fills rather quick. I like it but I just don't love it. It makes an everyday job just a little more tedious.

For anyone with extensive amounts of tile and/or hardwood floors, these new "multi-surface" floor cleaners were designed for us. This one thankfully has the ability due to being shipped with a few brushes, to clean multiple kinds of surfaces. Construction is sturdy and what you'd expect from an industry leader such as Hoover. I liked that the battery system was obviously thought through and removable. That makes this unit not obsolete in a few years when the battery runs low, and when battery technology improves, they can be right there with a new replacement. I'm a big fan of that part. Battery charges in about 45 min and gives you about the same in run time. This thing did an awesome job on porcelain and ceramic tile that we normally mop or hand scrub. Added to that was the easy job of also touching up the hardwood floors where there were spills and messes. Switching the modes and you can also tackle rugs and the little bit of carpet in my home. Overall I love having one tool do multiple jobs, this thing rocks. I would recommend it to anyone with extensive solid surface floors or mixed homes.

This is my first Floormate JET cordless floor cleaner. It vacuums and cleans the floor. It is very easy to setup and handy. It runs on battery, so charge it to full once you assemble it. You need to charge the battery separately from the vacuum. A fully charged battery lasts approximately 30 min. This comes with two roller brushes, one for wood floors and the other for multi-surface. The unit has two tanks that keeps the cleaning solution and the dirty water separate. The tanks has markings which tell you how much of the cleaning solution to be added. The swivel head makes it easy to manuver around and under things. Once you are done with cleaning, make sure to clean the tanks, the rollers, tubes so that it doesn't stink with dirty water. I would highly recommend buying a second battery if you plan to clean larger areas or multiple rooms. If you have any other ONEPWR device, then you can use that battery in this unit. Overall, this is a great cleaning device for small areas or for quick cleanups.

The Hoover - ONEPWR FloorMate JET Upright Vacuum is a great tool to have for cleaning up messes in the kitchen or any other room with hard floors, it’s also suitable for rugs too. It assembles easy out the box just attach the wand, charge the battery and fill up the reservoir with water and cleaning solution. I like that you can manually spray cleaning solution on tough areas to help clean. The battery provided about 30 minutes on the highest setting which was enough to clean my whole kitchen and a couple small bathrooms. I suggest getting an extra battery if you have larger areas to clean. The Floormate does come with two roller head brushes which is nice and a storage tray to sit on after you are done using the Floormate. I can see this replacing my traditional mop which I am looking forward too and so is my wife. This will save us so much time in our already busy lives.

I have a house with wood floors, tile and two dogs that love to shed, so vacuuming and mopping are two chores I can't slack on. With that being said, I was excited to try the battery powered hoover ONEPWR floormate and see if it can handle my daily mess. Set up was super simple. To put it together, I just snapped in the handle charged the battery and popped it into the top of the vacuum. To prepare it to clean, I just installed one of the cleaner heads, filled the bottle with water and the included cleaner solution and it was ready to go! When it comes to cleaning, This vacuum does a great job on both the wood and tile. When I was done, the floors were shiney, the room smelled great and all the dog hair was gone. When I did a daily cleaning on the eco setting, I was able to clean about 14oo Square feet before the battery died. When I did a deep cleaning with the max power setting, the battery died after about 600 square feet. Since the battery is replaceable, I can easily extend my cleaning time by popping in another battery, however, the unit only came with one. This brings me to my only Con of having a battery powered two in one mop. If the battery dies and you don't have another one, you are unable to clean and have to wait 30-40 minutes for it to recharge. Final thoughts, I absolutely love the ONEPWR floormate, it definitely cut my cleaning time in half, saved me the frustration of a cord getting caught on everything and did an amazing job of cleaning. I just highly recommend picking up a second battery or you can do like me and buy another ONEPWR device such as the ONEPWR Spotless GO Deep Cleaner. Which uses the same Battery. =-D

OMG - Amazing at cleaning our hardwood floors and rugs as well as the kitchen tile. Old days, Pull out vacuum, unravel cord, find plug in. Vacuum floors, unplug and find new plug in because cord didn't reach. Then pull out swifter to wet down floors with water to remove dirt spots. Using Hoover OnePwr FloorMate Jet, charge battery when not using, which lasts the full time of using on a 1900 Sq. ft. home. Vacuum floors and rugs, while vacuuming find spots that need cleaned with hard floor solution, pull trigger solution sprays out a bit of solution onto the floor and cleans the spots and vacuums up the water as well. Does an amazing job on the floors and no more 30 to 40 minute job for two tools, just 20 minutes with one tool, no cords, no craziness.
