Though it is presented as an innovative stain remover, Hoover’s newest mini vacuum doesn’t actually have any new features - instead it focuses on convenience by combining a portable vacuum with the tools that we already use for fighting carpet stains. The ONEPWR Spotless GO Deep Cleaner is basically a small battery powered shop vac that has a brush attachment and the ability to hold a liquid stain remover that can be sprayed from above the Brush Head / Suction Nozzle. So, instead of attacking carpet stains with a rag and a separate bottle of carpet cleaner, the vacuum has everything built in. The vacuum is definitely convenient, but I am not convinced that it is any more effective than cleaning by hand - which is still required. Spray the carpet, use a brush to manually agitate, but instead of dabbing or wiping up the carpet cleaner, you vacuum it away. Unfortunately, the suction strength just adequate - while the small reservoir only holds a measly 10 ounces. ...For set in stains, it does offer the slight advantage of being able to soak the carpet and then suck most of the moisture away. I do appreciate that the suction nozzle is clear which allows you to see if moisture is still being pulled from the carpet fibers. This ensures that you are pulling a majority of the cleaner out of the carpet without wasting precious battery life. The top of the nozzle can also be easily removed and washed - ensuring that you can continue to see the liquid being pulled from the carpet. The rechargeable battery means that the vacuum is portable, but it also means that the device will be completely useless if you don’t keep it charged. From my use, it seems as though the device can be used about 4 times before the battery needs to be charged. I am not sure if the power slowly drains when the device is stored for long periods, but thankfully the power level can be viewed by pushing a status button on the top of the battery. Unfortunately there is no way to plug in the vacuum and the battery must be placed on the docking station to charge. Though it is great for use on stairs, in cars, boats, or anywhere that may not have an outlet near by - I still wish it had the option of being plugged in. I value of this product does climb considerably for those who intend to purchase other Hoover ONEPWR products that can share the battery. Love this Little Machine. It did not look like much when I first saw it but when you carry it, has a solid slightly weighted feel like it is well built. Very portable with the cordless rechargeable battery. The battery has a available charge check button. Easy to fill solution tank. Easy removable recovery tank for draining and cleaning. The suction wand has a scrub brush attachment and suction hose/wand wraps around bottom nicely for storage and portability. Also includes a 8 oz starter solution bottle. The solution has a pleasant odor. This would be very good for troublesome pet stains. I used this machine on immediate spills which I feel is its main purpose, but also found usefull on older stains in the carpet and also used in the car to remove some minor stains. I found it is best to spray the solution on older spots first, let soak a few minutes, then use wand with scrub brush to remove and suck up the stain. It worked on everything I used it on. I am impressed. This is a well thought out product, but keep in mind it is best used on new spills/stains. I do not feel it would be good for deep cleaning of older stains. This is still very good for busy life styles making clean up quick and easy!

About two months ago, we introduced a new puppy to our household. As you can imagine it’s been a never-ending battle trying to get him house trained. It’s not the little guy’s fault really. He tries, but he’s a very small dog so he needs to be let out more often than our larger dogs did and we are trying to get used to that. There are inevitably times when he gets excited after playing and we aren’t watching his cues close enough so he has an accident. Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on how you look at it, he goes to one spot on the carpet in our living room. We do the dry/clean with spot cleaner routine, but he obviously still knows where that ‘spot’ is. Thankfully, we just introduced the Spotless Go to our house and found that’s it’s more convenient than other carpet cleaners like rug doctor. First of all, I want to state that this perky little vacuum is not going to replace a full carpet cleaner. It is great for spot cleaning and dealing with pet accidents, but for deep cleans, you will want to turn to a full-size cleaner. This machine is really intended for quick, easy cleanups. Set-up is easy. You fill up the cleaning reservoir, plug in the battery pack, and press start. I was hoping this would remove the need for me to clean by hand when pet accidents occur, but unfortunately, there is still some of that that needs to happen. You have to pretreat the carpet with the spray cleaner and then agitate the area before running the vacuum with tough stains. The vacuum does spray the area with cleaner and pull moisture out, but there are no moving, scrubbing brushes in the vacuum head so if it’s a long-standing stain, you might need to move up to a more pro-level cleaner. It is recommended that you only use Hoover-brand cleaners with this machine, which can be a drawback for some people even though Hoover’s cleaners are quite good, there are a lot of options out there that might work better in some situations. When you use the machine on new accidents, it works well removing odors and doesn’t cause much if any color loss. One of the biggest perks to me of this vacuum is that it keeps me from having to pull out our awkward rug doctor. It’s heavy, corded, and just a mess to deal with sometimes. The Spotless Go operates on a battery and is very easy to clean up. While the Hoover has a larger holding tank, it will still fit into a bathroom sink and it’s easy to rinse out. The battery doesn’t have the best battery life and I was only able to get 10-15 minutes of continuous cleaning time out of it. But, if you are just spot cleaning, as the product suggests, you should be able to get 3-4 uses out of it on a single charge. Since I have other battery-operated vacuums in the house, putting the Hoover on charge isn’t really a chore for me. The fact that I don’t have to deal with a cord while I’m cleaning is amazing. The Spotless Go isn’t designed to be a ‘replacement’ for full carpet cleaners. It is meant to provide an option for machine-based spot cleaning when accidents occur. This vacuum is convenient and in my opinion, worth the purchase if you have a home with pets. It’s much easier than having to pull out the big carpet cleaner and because you can grab it at a moment’s notice it is going to keep those stains from becoming longterm residents in your house.

Pet stains are no fun, but the convenience of the battery-powered Hoover ONEPWR Spotless GO Deep Cleaner makes the job much easier! -= Performance =- If you have a dog and a typical carpet cleaner, you know the song and dance: dog throws up, I go get the carpet cleaner, I fill the tank with solution, I find a place to plug it in, I struggle with untangling the cord, and by the time I’m ready to clean up the vomit, the dog has already taken care of it (ugh!). The convenience of the lithium battery included with the Hoover ONEPWR Spotless Deep Cleaner makes it a real “grab and go” solution. No more struggling to untangle a power cord and find a place to plug it in. You simply pick it up and (if you still have cleaner in the tank) turn it on and begin cleaning. I’ll admit that I was initially turned off by battery-powered power tools, thinking they wouldn’t have enough power to do the job. However, now that I own a RYOBI weed wacker and leaf blower, I’m all about the battery! The included lithium battery provide plenty of suction power to get deep down in my somewhat thick carpet and does a good job with fresh stains. Older stains take several passes and some patience, but I think it’s more the solution’s fault than the cleaner itself. -= Setup and Maintenance =- Setup was easy enough and involved charging the battery for 3 hours before the initial use. For maintenance, you’ll need to empty the “dirty water” tank when you’re done using it and scoop out any gunk in the red filter under the tank. You can rinse off the attachment tool under your sink if it has accumulated some gunk on it as well. That’s about it. -= Battery Life =- Don’t expect to be cleaning the entire floor with the Hoover ONEPWR; after about 5 minutes of usage, the battery showed about a 50% charge remaining. So runtime will likely be about 10 minutes or less. -= Overall =- The Hoover ONEPWR Spotless GO Deep Cleaner is a very convenient tool for anyone that has carpet and pets. It makes clean ups quick and easy. The battery power gives you the ability to clean up messes before they set in, assuming you remember to keep the battery charged.

There is no doubt that cordless cleaning tools are way more convenient than other corded options and the Hoover Onepwr lineup is the only set of cleaning tools that I'm aware of that has swappable batteries. The Spotless Go carpet cleaner is a very unique product with a very specific use case. If you're looking for a heavy duty carpet cleaner look elsewhere but, if you want something that's easy to use and does a good job cleaning up small carpet and pet stains, this may be a good option for you. The carpet cleaner is a little smaller than I thought it would be and the shampoo reservoir is really small. It's light enough to carry around the house and won't be awkward or clunky try to drag into tighter spaces. The Sha.poo head is about the size of a normal hand held carpet cleaner, maybe a little smaller. The hose it about 3 feet so, you'll have to drag the whole thing around if you have several stains to clean. The cleaner actually performs really well for it's size. I had some pretty bad pet stains on my carpet and in my car and this thing got them up fairly quickly and it looked good after I was done. I will say that the cleaner didn't pull near as much of the water up as I wanted. My car seats were still pretty wet after I finished. But, the finished product looked really good. I was pretty impressed at how well it cleaned. My biggest complaint is the battery life. If you're planning to do a lot of cleaning with this, you're going to be disappointed. I was able to get 10-15 minutes of cleaning out of each charge. If you have some pretty bad or big stains that might not be long enough and you'll have to wait for a charge. This is where the swappable batteries may help you if you have multiple Onepwr products, since they all use the same battery and are easily switchable. Cleaning the shampooer is really easy too. Everything snaps off easy and you can wipe everything down in 5 minutes. Overall I'm pretty impressed. It does exactly what it was designed to do, clean small stains easily and quickly. Just know what you're buying before you make the purchase.

I purchased this for our car carpets because it is portable and doesn't require a plug which is perfect if you don't have a garage. In that respect it delivered 100%. In terms of suction power and battery consumption it is a little less impressive. The suction/cleaning is okay. You'll need to make more than one pass to do both front seats floor area. It does a decent job for what it is. I had to use 4 battery charges to get our small suv done. It wasn't completely filthy but I wanted to freshen it up and get some spilt coffee out. You will also need to really work to get water out because the suction is not great. It works but you really have to be diligent to get it out.

I love the portability of the cleaner, and it works very well! I love the releasable battery. Downside.....short battery life.

Works well. Only qualm I have is the solution tank is fairly small. Needs frequent refills at times.

good little cleaner for spot cleaning not large spots

A sample 8 oz bottle of recommended portable carpet cleaner comes with the cordless spot cleaner, so you can test it out right away. This machine is taking the place of a large bulky spot cleaner from of a well known brand that I have had for a few years. I found the old spot cleaner way too heavy to drag around and it doesn’t have a hose like this one does which is great for spot cleaning stairs and getting into smaller areas (tight areas or under furniture). There is no pulling on a cord or trying to find an outlet to get to hard to reach areas, like stairs. For a spot cleaner this cordless portable has good suction and it is easy to empty the dirty water tank with just a simple push of the button. Clean Up: I have an older dog and this does a great job of cleaning up all the messes that an older dog makes. It can handle just about any spot cleaning job big or small. This little machine is GREAT for quick messy cleanups in your car, especially if you have kids or a sick dog. This has enough suction to easily pull out all of the shampoo liquid from the carpet leaving hardly any liquid on the rug which makes for quick drying. The dirty water tank has more than enough capacity to handle several spot cleanings. The solution tank holds 8 oz of premixed cleaner solution for one large or 2 small spot cleanings, but I am sure there are variables and you will find your own. Even though you don't have to do a rinse with clean water, I did it so that I got all of the cleaning solution out of the carpet just in case my dog had an allergy to the shampoo. Recommendation: If you have pets, I definitely recommend getting a ONEPWR. I cannot say enough positive things about this small but mighty machine. Cleaning up spills was always such a hassle but now it's definitely simplified. It's super light, small, easy to store, no cord to deal with. It has separate tanks for the clean and dirty water so you can change out one or the other as needed. It's easy to go from room to room to treat the spots all over the house. I was amazed at how well it removed old pet accidents.

It’s okay. Doesn’t have a very strong suction. I received a broken one and had to deal with support before receiving one that worked.

I am a child psychologist which mean my office carpet get messy with spills. The handheld cleaner does an excellent job in keeping my carpet clean and is easy to use and store.

There are two downsides to this product in my opinion. The first and slightly more annoying factor is the hose length. I would like to be able to place the cleaner on the floor while cleaning a chair for instance. I either need to hold the machine in one hand while using the tool in the other or find another chair or something of similar height. The second disappointing factor is the tank size. I do miss the larger Hoover tank, but all in all it is worth it and I am happy with my purchase. I did buy a more powerful battery since I use this machine fairly regularly. Hope this helps!!
