I was just looking for something decent for the price and I picked this one up on sale. I was worried about the suction as per all the reviews, but after I did my whole house (3 bedrooms, living room and dining room) I still did not encounter any problems with the suction. The problem I did encounter, after doing the first room, was the mix tank quit mixing the solution with the water. I was able to correct this problem by pulling the soap switch lever out a little bit and turning it past the wash setting (basically lifting up the plunger). When I finished the house, I could have returned it to Best Buy, but instead I called Hover. They corrected the problem by promptly mailing me a replacement tank within a few days.

This is the best carpet cleaner I have ever had.it is lightweight but does a wonderful job. I clean my light beige carpet every year and this is the best my carpeting has looked. The suction is very good, my carpet was not soaking after cleaning. One suggestion to everyone is be sure to remove the strips of cardboard between the brushes when you first put the handle on when you receive it. It does not say this in the instructions. It was quite a mess I had to cleanup the first time I used it. I love my Hoover.

Great for home use, but make sure you have a lot of time available to you before you start. It takes multiple passes to get get areas clean, and the collection tank only holds about 3/4 of a gallon because the suds from the shampoo takes up space. So you get about 4 "lines" of carpet done before you have to stop and empty it. So it takes time. But for the price, if you have pets and don;t want to spend on a service to come by to do your house every couple of months, its worth it.

I only have 2 carpeted rooms so I wasn't sure if purchasing a cleaner was worth it. This cleaner comes with an attachment to use on tile floors, plus 2 bottles of solution. Easy to use, got out a ton of dirt!!!

This machine works great. A great value and it should pay for itself with regular use. It is easy to use and easy to clean between jobs. The staff was great on assisting me with my decision on purchasing this machine. No regrets.

I clean my carpets on a monthly basis. I decided it was time for a new carpet cleaner. I went with a cleaner that had a wider base to clean a larger area. This machine is awesome!! My carpets have never looked this clean.

Cleaned very well-water was quite dark (or my rug was exceptionally dirty), fairly easy to disassemble for maintenance cleanup after use. Only regrets-for the amount of liquid shampoo used, it seems it should have covered more square footage and I could not find the filter they suggest rinsing clean.

My previous cleaner was a Hoover as well and lasted for years. This is an update and is easier to use. I like being able to switch between clean and rinse on the tank.

This is not my first carpet cleaner purchase. I owned a Bissell before this one. My initial reaction is that it did not suck up as much water as my Bissell did however, it did clean my carpets better and left less residue behind. Will be keeping it and using maybe every 6 months or so.

Does a great job on the floors but is difficult to clean the brushes

This is a good cleaner and I really like all the brushes it has to really scrub the carpet.

This Hoover Power Path Pro Advanced replaces a Hoover Max Extract Dual V. The Power Path Pro is lighter and has both spinning brushes and a revolving brush bar. It does a good job getting the dirt out of the carpet.

Good bang for the buck cleans well light weight vacuum.

Is a little tough on my long carpet, but cleaned up all the cranberry juice I spilled without any issues!

Does the job well for light use. Not great on heavily soiled areas.

Cleaned my carpets and was amazed at all the dirt is was able to pull up. You think you have clean carpet until you use this and realize there is a whole other level of clean. Buy this and save your carpet.

After our previous carpet cleaner died right in the middle of cleaning up flu-related vomit, we ran to the nearest Best Buy and bought this; it was easy to use, simple to understand, and took care of the mess!

Works great! Easy to handle. Easy to fill and dump. Suction is great, leaving carpet nearly dry after use.

Seems to do a very good job on household carpets. Separate compartments for detergent and water.

Easy to use and it is a little heavy to lift and move around!!
