2 Oriental rugs had not been cleaned in at least 15 years till I used this new deep cleaning Hoover power scrub. I had had one before (not used on these rugs) and the upgrades to this model are significant. The method of cleaning and rinsing is much more effective. The machine is easier to use than the old one I had. Wash up and back, rinse up and back and dry up and back several times for quick drying. The cleaning solution and rinse water tanks are very easy to get to, empty and clean. The results: clear bright colors as you would want in an Oriental rug Drying time - pretty fast. the deep cleaning really works. I love my new Hoover!

Very easy to assemble and use. I used Zep carpet cleaning solution with it (the one in the red bottle) and it worked perfectly fine. The upstairs of my home is all white colored carpet flooring and it really took the stains out. It was also very easy to clean the stairs with using the attachment. I did have to look up a youtube video to learn how to use the attachment, but easy nonetheless. I highly recommend this to anyone with carpet in their home. It was possible to use on my large area rugs downstairs that lay on top of wooded flooring. The best part is seeing all the murky water in the container after you're done cleaning. I recommend pouring the dirty water into the toilet to easily get rid of it. I hope this lasts me a long time because it's a really handy device. The carpets in my home look and feel professionally washed.

We have bought several carpet cleaners over the years. This one is far superior to any of the others. I re-cleaned an area that has just been done with our old one (before it broke and we went to buy this one) and you could see the difference. It almost looked like it had never been cleaned before.

I found this cleaner on a really great sale price so I wanted to give it a shot. We have old, but cushy carpet and have three furry, four-legged children running around. It got out stains that were there before we bought the house!! I was really impressed with the carpet cleaner! So simple with great features and my carpets look SO much better!! If we ever wear it out, I would buy an identical one!

Does exactly what it says, left my carpet clean and fresh. If I had one thing to say negative, it is to not leave the soap in the soap compartment overnight, it will leak down into the water tank. Then the option selector for water/soap doesnt do much good.

Amazing cleaner for the money. Does a really great job and is easy to use. Fast and easy and pays for itself after the first use.

This is replacing another Hoover I bought over 10 years ago. The good news is this one is lighter, quieter and more efficient than the unit it replaced. I did not understand the soap dispenser upon first use. You should use a dilution of a portion of soap mixed with water and you will get good results and not use too much product. My only complaint would be, to much aggressive movement will cause the float to pop up and the suction to cease making you think the collection tank needs to be emptied, switching the unit off and back on again corrects that issue. I am very pleased so far and gotten good results. I would buy again.

Bought this carpet cleaner to replace my old carpet cleaner from the 90s that died. This one is easy to put together and so far has worked very good. It cleans a lot better than my old one and leaves the carpet much drier. It comes apart easy to clean it after it is done being used. My only complaint is I still wish the solution/rinse tank was bigger. It does get to be kind of a pain to keep filling it if you have a larger room or really dirty carpet. Minor detail on otherwise a great product so far. Just hope it holds together as well as the other one did.

After reading many reviews and studying all the different brands and models, I decided upon this one. My local Best Buy had sold out, so we went to the next city and bought the last one in that store. It was worth the two hour drive, and has not disappointed us! The carpets in the entire house had beeen professionally cleaned shortly before I bought the carpet cleaner, and it was amazing to see how much dirt was still in the carpet and removed by the Hoover carpet cleaner. We bought the professional strength solution and also the Oxy Boost for removing stains. We also cleaned the living room furniture with similar amazing results. The attachments are great and the tanks are easy to empty. We clean the tanks and attachments in the bathtub and let them dry overnight. Wish I would have bought this sooner and saved myself $300 on professional cleaning.

did few research before buying this, have tried the Bissell Pro heat wasnt happy with that returned it and when I tried this was very pleased,, we have a cat and a dog and this did clean the carpet very good it really looks new now and the drying is amazing, i highly recommend this one

I borrowed the previous model from a friend and liked it so much that we went out to buy that same model. We found this later model and I am delighted with the upgrades that make it easier to use. I'm very happy with my purchase this machine is easy to use and does a good job.

This deep carpet cleaner is easy to use and does a great job cleaning stains, even old set stains. I was surprised the first time I used it because it did so well getting out previous stains. It isn't too heavy, although larger capacity tanks would be better but would make the carpet cleaner too hard to maneuver. I would prefer a longer electric cord, but it is manageable. I was afraid the lower price would result in lower quality, but I am pleasantly surprised how effective this model is. I have a dog and two cats, and I don't mind using it for small spot cleaning. Again, it does a great job for spring/fall cleaning. I would highly recommend this deep cleaner!

This Hoover Carpet Cleaner Deluxe worked great!! Easy to use, has several attachments and cleans the carpets really well, especially with the rotating scrubbers on the bottom that it uses. We even cleaned our steps using the wand attachment and it worked very well!! This is a Great product overall!

It comes in many parts. But once assembled, just add hot water and some cleaning solution. The collection tank gets jet black when done cleaning. Great for area rugs especially in high traffic areas. A good machine to have in the house.

The hoover shampooer is nice n light. I like the easy attachment set up an the bag for the attachments is removable so it's not in your way when your not using it. My kids were shocked how nice it cleaned our carpets. One downer is the tanks are smaller so you are filling them more. Overall I am very pleased with the machine.

Was looking for a carpet cleaner for a while. After reading reviews I decided on this one. It is a great light weight carpet cleaner for the price. I got it on sale for $99.00. I have to dogs that sometime will have accidents on my carpet. I wanted a carpet cleaner that would clean up the stains and take out the smell of dog urine. This did a good job. I have light carpeting. This did not remove the stain completely, but they are a heck of a lot lighter. Barely noticeable. I did have to go over the carpet multiple times. It also took most of the smell out. This carpet cleaner will not do as good as a job as a professional carpet cleaning company but not bad for the price. I like the fact that it has two tanks. One for the clean water and one for the dirty water. I would say that the only downside of this cleaner was that I was constantly either emptying the dirty water or filling the machine back up with hot water. So it took me a while to do a 12 X 14 bedroom. I haven't owned it that long and have only used it a few time, so I don't know if it will last that long without breaking. But if it last me a few year for $99 I am OK with that.

Works great, easy to use, easy to clean when done! Heavy to push around so you end up getting a great workout too!

I am really happy with the results of this steam cleaner. It does wide paths and leaves a clean carpet. Runs smoothly.
