This review is for the product only, not the store. I am wondering if hoover can return my money spent. Not able to upload my video showing the problem. The cleaner worked okay for the first time. When I used it for the second time, there was no cleaning action. The carpet was just made wet. This equipment does not dry the carpet, it is not even close. The smell of cleaner liquid stays on and never goes away for a couple of days so I wonder what the rinse cycle does ? With windows open in a summer afternoon and with the ceiling fan on, it took 3-4 hours for carpet to dry. So during the second use, I think I figured out why the machine doesn't work anymore - I am not an expert but maybe Hoover can diagnose better. The rotor brushes do not spin when the machine is upright or in use. It barely rotates when I tip the machine on its wheels. The collection tank does not collect any dirty water after the first use. The entire cleaning action seems to be dependent on the "powerful" rotation of the brushes which is the critical path. Since the critical path does not function, the machine is junk. Without rotation of brushes, this machine is merely a water spray on carpets and it doesn't dry.

Easy to assemble, easy to use. Works better than expected.

The Hoover carpet is light enough for my wife to easily use and is easy to operate.

I bought this steam cleaner to extend the amount of time between professional cleanings. It has worked great for that duty as well as being a nicety for cleaning the interior fabrics around the floorboards of my car. I have not had issues with leakage like some others and would buy this product again.

This rug shampooer is great. light weight and great suction.

It helped me clean the carpet nicely. I thought that it would help me completely remove the dog pee stain but it did left a little mark. It smells good though after the clean up.

I love my Hoover carpet shampooer for cleaning my carpets, although, I do use the upholstery cleaner a lot and I'm hoping someday soon they update the nozzle on it. The nozzle clogs easily and is fragile. So, I give it four stars because it does do great on carpet. This is my third Hoover purchase.

This is the most amazing carpet cleaner! I have an 8 month old German Shepherd puppy and she is still not fully house trained. Needless to say I have to use a carpet cleaner daily. This cleaner meets the demands with no problems. It has a wash setting and a rinse setting which helps gets the extra soap out helping to get the carpet cleaner than ever. There are numerous attachments to perform spot cleaning. It also sucks the water out of the carpet so well that the drying time is cut in half. The absolute best part of this machine is how easy it is to clean it thoroughly and have it like brand new for the next use. I highly recommend it.

It gets the old stain right up. Easy to use, and does not miss a thing.

Got this for cleaning our carpet as we have pets and it really does the job. It removed all stains and left the carpet as new. Depending the weather it almost dry the carpet but we recommend to have a ventilated or hot weather to cleaning the interior carpets as it can take a few hours or days depending on how dirty it was.

Have another brand that we tried repeatedly to remove a particular stain. This one did it . Also seems to have the most features for the money. Did not give a 5 becausee it seems to have been made a little flimsy to conserve on weight.

I bought the shampooer based off other reviews and I can say I wasn't dissapointed. I have rented other brands over the years an have always been happy with the proformance but having one at home is much more convenient. This unit cleaned as well as the store rental R.D. Just follow the direction and enjoy your clean carpets.

my wife and I are collage renters with 2 other roommates in a large house with lots of carpet. we also recently got a puppy and as such wanted to be able to maintain the carpet due to any mistakes, by us or the dog. this machine is awesome!!!! it pulled out stains that were in the carpet for multiple years that were left behind by the "professional" cleaners in a van. stains like big soda splotches and all kinds of food and beverage, handled the pet marks from our dog with ease and of old renters almost as easily. very happy with this product.

Cleans very good. Carpet dries very quickly. Comes apart very easily for cleaning. Water tank could be a little larger.

We have used this carpet cleaner on all our rugs. It did an excellent job and is so easy to use. The rugs dried quickly and it pulls most of the water and cleaner back out of the rug. Emptying the dirty water and adding clean water is very easy. Very glad we bought this certain model. It does the job and very easy to clean and take apart. If you need a shampooer get this one.
