Works much better than I thought possible. Did a fantastic job cleaning my carpets and eliminating the pet odor in the house. Have a large dog and no issues with the dog hair either. Would recommend this for all pet owners.

This carpet cleaner was very effective at removing dirt from a shag rug and some wall to wall carpet. The carpet will need two or three treatments I think because it was very dirty. Cleaning carpeted stairs was a long chore, but the attachments are effective. The cleaner is easy to use and clean. I have not had it long enough to know its long-term endurance. Best Buy matched a price from another vendor, making the purchase a good value.

What a huge difference this made for my carpet!! I had an old cleaner that I was using and after about 10 minutes of wasting my time, I turned it off, looked up reviews and went and purchased this carpet cleaner. Super easy to use, great for removing pet stains, and it's not going to take a year to get done like my other one was going to. If you are in the market for a new one, I think this is a great bang for your buck! I'm about to test this bad boy out on the dining room chairs!

My carpets were not all that dirty so I could not see spending the money wanted to clean professionally. For carpets that are lightly soiled this machine works great. I was shocked at how much the cleaner picked up!

I have had other carpet cleaners but they seem to break down with repeated use. The Hoover did a great job and I have used it four times since them with no problems.

This is a good device for small projects it gets the jobs done fast and easy

The device has great suction power and the brushes work fine, however, it is quite clunky and hard to maneuver. I prefer a handheld one, but if you are an individual with big carpets and need to maintain them bi-monthly, then I would recommend this product.

Handy and easy to use..very good in cleaning carpets

I had to replace my old Hoover that had done a phenomenal job for a long time. This one is remarkably set up very similarly. The only difference is there is a sizeable dropoff in its ability to suck the water back up. I went over some spots so many times without getting it up. Maybe my old one was phenomenal, I don't know, but it was annoying to me. The cleaning itself was excellent. It got pet stains and soot stains out of my carpet and couch with ease. The attachment had the rotating cleaner which actually makes it useful. Overall, I suggest this despite my displeasure that it doesn't pick up the water nearly as well as I hoped. No way I'm cleaning with this when it is humid already in my house.

Despite only using it once, I am impressed with its performance thus far. Using the upholstery cleaning tools, I used the carpet cleaner to deep clean my fabric textured couch. I removed a problematic stain and left my couch smelling brand new. Most of the parts that make up this cleaner is plastic. This makes the cleaner light and relatively each to carry. However, I question the long-term durability of them.

This is a great carpet cleaner especially for the price, it cleans well & is easy to use. The type of carpet shampoo you use makes a big difference. I didn't feel that the cleaner that came with it was very good, so I bought some other stuff that had oxi boost in it & what a difference!

Our old cleaner was going on two years and it gets used every time the dog gets the schitz and for sure every Sunday. It did OK. We got this one because it had rave reviews and I am not disappointed. It does a much better job than the old one. also this has several circular scrubbing brushes that work better than the standard one roller brush and they do not seem to fill up with hairballs from the weiner dog. Oh, and filling and cleaning is much easier also.

I have tried many different deep cleaners and spent hundreds. Only to have them break a few months later, but this deep cleaner for the price is working like a charm. I am very please with my purchase.

This cleaner does the job. If you frequently clean your rungs (we have an old dog) this is a good option. Easy to use, not too heavy.

I have three cats and a dog, so a good carpet cleaner is a necessity in our house. I had some spots that I was previously unable to get out and this got them all out in one cleaning. I love this cleaner!

I am quite happy with my carpet cleaner. My carpets looked clean, after using this though I realized they were not as clean as they looked. This is easy to use, has a rinse and wash option. It also mixes the cleaner automatically for you. The noise level isn't too bad at all and mine has not leaked at all yet. My only complaints is the power cord is pretty short and it goes through water pretty quickly. These are pretty minor complaints though. I haven't used the attachments much to review how they work.

Glad we bought this because it’s perfect for cleaning our area rugs and carpeted floor. The power brush is very effective as well. The attachment even comes with a power brush so I don’t have to move the brush manual back and forth when cleaning the stairs. It is also very light, compact and easy to clean.
