I bought this to clean a large area rug and living room set. It was working beautifully on my shag rug. I used it on my light teal ottoman, and it worked great on the mystery stains from my dogs. The upholstery tool brush is a BEAST of a scrubber. Then I tried to use it again to clean my couch the next day. The upholstery tool would only dribble out water. I did everything the troubleshooting guide recommends; I even went online for more solutions. Turns out hoover has very little online support, and I had to turn to Bissell for more things to try. Nothing would make it spray again. We emailed hoover and they never responded. We called several times, and they would put us on hold and then hang up- sometimes after thirty minutes of waiting. There was no online chat available. We waited a few days for any response and finally returned it today. Thank goodness best buy took it back so we can look for something else now. I really wanted to keep this thing but, with no support for faulty parts, keeping it wasn't an option. I won't be buying a hoover again because the customer service was non-existent.

I love the 2 chambers (1 for the water and 1 for the solution). It did an excellent job scrubbing and deep cleaning my carpet. It is very easy to clean it and store in a limited amount of space.

My carpets came out so clean and smell so fresh! Takes out deep down dirt and stains, easy to use, and dries fast. Clean up is also very easy

this machine is a good value carpet cleaner. the over quality is okay. the only part i am worried about is the handle, it seems a little flimsy, and is only held on by two little screws. but after a month of some pretty constant use, its still holding up great.

Bought as a replacement of an older carpet cleaner that had cleaned its last carpet. Very easy to take apart and clean. Controls are easy to use and reach. Nice suction as well

I got this to replace an older model when it stopped working. This one is much easier to empty and that saves a lot of time. The other newer feature is the two tank dispenser - one for cleaning solution, one for water. Being able to just rinse, or rinse after washing a particularly dirty portion of the carpet, is great. This machine leaves the carpet reasonably dry. I would have liked the wider model more, but was worried it would get too heavy while using and to carry to the upstairs of the house.

The Hoover carpet cleaner gets carpets clean, is light enough to carry up stairs, rinces without refilling the tub. It cleans up easily when the job is finished. I like it.

I bought this carpet cleaner to clean my entire house. We have five people and a cat and dog and my carpets were very lived on to say the least. This cleaner did a great job. I was impressed at how it even got out stains that had been there a while. It is very powerful and I love the two tanks.
