What can a I say, I have leaky pets and that’s why I got this... and it is EXCELLENT at cleaning them. I wasn’t sure how I was going to get the cat urine out of my white carpet but this did a great job with both the smell and the stain. I used it on both regular carpet and some throw rugs I had, and it was terrific on both. Great investment!

This is great for basic carpet cleaning. I have multiple animals and this works great if I catch a mess quickly. For pet stains that happen while I'm at work, this cleaner just can't get deep enough to remove the stain completely. It works really well on removing dirt/mud. Overall, this is a good product to at least minimize the stains and lengthen the time between getting your carpet professionally cleaned.

We steam vacuum our carpets every few months and when you factor the cost of the rental vacuums this cleaner just makes since. It does its job with ease and extremely well. Consumer reports ranks it high and so do I.

A little trickier to use (you have to get the disposal tank right to ensure that waste water is deposited into it. Superior in vaccuming water that is used to clean the carpet that my older Hoover Pro. Does a great job of cleaning the carpet. Very happy with the newer unit.

Cleans pretty well. Makes balls of hair and dust so its easy to pick up. Small issue is dirty water in the cleaner smells whenever it runs.

The Hoover Steam cleaner is the best ever. Our carpets look like new and it is very easy to use.

My first cleaner worked for about 8 years before the turbines froze. It was my own fault - I didn't realize the spinner brushes and casing came off to allow for removal of hair. I definitely take better care of my new one. It's really quite easy to pop the case in and out. My two critiques are that the cord is too short and I wish it had a heater for hot water application.

I love how easy it was to setup, extra tools are included with a bag to keep them in. Does a great job cleaning!

Economical, lightweight steam cleaner that cleans pretty well and works well for a household. Not too heavy to carry around your house and easy to use.

This cleaner is amazing. So amazing it is the second one we have purchased. We loaned our first one to our son and never saw it again, but we liked this one so much we decided to get the same one instead of trying to decide if a different model or brand would do the job.

After cleaning our floors for the first time in 3 years I can say that the beige carpet came out looking cleaner a little. We are going to have to do multiple passes in order to really get it looking new again. This didnt work well on set in pet stains around corners though, we bought a Bissel pet spot cleaner for that which also didnt get the stain out. Looking back, perhaps its best to clean the stains ASAP when the pet has a accident. Will hopefully update the review when we get to doing more rooms.

This carpet cleaner is an excellent machine. The brushes scrubs the carpet piles and lifts them which makes the carpet looks fresh and clean. I also like the rinse feature which removes the soap and suds which makes the carpet feel soft. The machine sucks up most of the water out of the carpet which let it dry quick. This is by far the best carpet cleaner I've ever purchased.
