This product is great for smaller condos and apartments. It worked well on area rugs. It is small and easy to store. It sets up fast and cleans easily. It works very well. I keep a clean house but I could not believe the dirt it picked up. I looked at this a while before purchasing and I am very satisfied with this machine. I will never rent a carpet cleaner again.

I chose this model because it was considered the best non-commercial machine in the affordable price range. Overall, I'm pleased with the machine. It has a rinse function allowing you to go over your carpet again with just water. The cord could be a little longer and the machine a bit wider. It does pick up dirt really well though. We don't wear our shoes in our home and I was surprised to find the amount of dirt I did in my carpet. If you're looking for a good, affordable keep machine then this is it.

I've boughten this one twice. The first time was because it was on sale, and then the Handel broke, which most do after using it often for a few years, the second I've had for a few months now. It's super easy to use, I wish the water tank was bigger but that's the least of my worries. It's easy to use, cleans great and the hand tools are just as easy to use.

Our dog's hind quarters are paralyzed so we frequently have messes in the house. The Hoover - Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet Upright Deep Cleaner - Red is a lifesaver!!! It is light weight yet powerful enough to clean up after her even is she has diarrhea. It's so much better than having to rent one as we can use it every time we need it right away!!!

i did a ton of research on carpet care machines, and this one was consistently at or near the top of the list. when i found out how much less it cost than so much of the competition, I wondered if it was too good to be true. But, it works. It just works. I have only used a handful of other cleaners, but this seems to a good job for less money.

Just purchased the Hoover Max after first looking at ones to rent verses buying one. Bought this one on sale and when putting it together it only took 5 minutes at the most. Wife and myself noticed the same thing when we tried it out, it seemed to be easier to use then our vacuum cleaner, it worked perfectly and cleaned our carpets to a spotless and new condition. I would highly recommend this product....

I have had a Hoover Steam Vac (several years ago) and a Bissell (purchased in approx 2011). Both were heavy, cumbersome and just okay at cleaning. The Hoover was longer-lived than the Bissell (which as luck would have it, crapped out when I was about to shampoo the carpets after I moved out of the house I was renting). That night I did a quick online search, saw good ratings for this Hoover machine, liked the features, the price and especially that I could order it then and pick it up in the AM at Best Buy so I could shampoo those carpets! It was beyond easy to put together (like just snap on the handle and go) and when I started cleaning, WOW! It cleans so well that even the woman from the building management company was impressed when she did her walkthrough. It is also super easy to dump out the dirty water and clean the machine afterward. The Bissell was a total PITA to fill, empty (it had the same tank with a bladder inside that held the clean water so if you had clean water left but had to empty the dirty, you had to dump out both) and clean. I usually had to unscrew the floor vent/vacuum piece just to clean it properly or all the rug fuzz would clog and get matted in it...bad, bad design. Highly recommend this machine...it is lightweight, easy to maneuver and cleans better than even the Rug Doctor pro machines I've rented in the past!! Oh and it is red...my fave color!!

He said suction was good and he really liked it. His wife has cancer and he needs to clean up the bed often to keep it sanitary for her. And he said it works better than his older model

I have always cleaned my own carpets. When I purchased this from Best Buy, the young salesman (probably mid 20's) said he loved his and had answered all my questions. And he was right on. It is VERY lightweight, easy to use and clean. I love how you can actually see the dirty water being suctioned out of the carpet. The automatic shut off valve lets you know when you are out of water and makes a different noise. The water and the cleaner are actually in separate components so you know you are not using too much cleaning solution. Then you can also rinse the carpet too. The vacuum/suction on the machine is amazing! The components are very easy to take apart and clean. By far the best carpet cleaner I have ever used!!

Well designed product - easy to use and the separate container for emptying the dirty water makes the process quick. Lightweight unit will work well for everyone. Does a great job of cleaning and looks to be a very solid design which will hold up well

This cleaner is better works as advertised and I am amazed as to how much this cleans. You will not believe your eyes the first time you clean your "clean" carpets. Works great and easy to use/fill. Use HOT HOT Water for best results and I have used Hoover brand cleaner with great results too

I read the reviews on carpet cleaners and because of the high rating of this machine we chose this one. After the first use we were very satisfied with our choice! It does an awesome job and is very easy to assemble and get everything set up for use. I highly recommend this carpet cleaner!

This product absolutely exceed expectations. This cleaner does a great job of scrubbing the dirt and extracting the moisture (and dog messes) out of the carpet. No more stains, no more pet odors! My carpet looks and smells brand new! It's lightweight, easy to assemble and I love the storage bag that holds the accessories. You can't go wrong with this machine!

This is my first carpet cleaner and I did a lot of research before this purchase. The noise is about the same as a upright vacuum which is totally acceptable. I reloaded hot water 3 times for a medium bedroom and did not need to reload solution. Just be aware it may leak a little bit when you put the tank back. Overall I am very satisfied with the result.

So far have cleaned the carpets in two rooms of my house and am very pleased with the results. The Power Scrub Deluxe is easy to use. It has to be refilled with clean water several times per room, but it is easy to do. I have found I get the best performance when I empty the dirty water every time I refill the clean water. You can tell when the clean water is empty when you pull back and don't see water moving up inside the dirty water vessel. Then just stop, empty dirty water, add clean water and continue on. I do a clean pass, the a rinse pass as the manual suggests and it works great. I have two dogs so I use the Hoover pet detergent.

Sucks up the dirt from the carpet, that is! Nice to have a reasonably priced carpet cleaner to help keep the house looking good. Easy to use and makes short work of an otherwise not-so-fun job around the house.

Great carpet cleaner. Not big and bulky like most carpet cleaners I have used in the past. Powerful enough to get the job done. I like that the upholstery hose is not attached to the carpet cleaner and you can attach it when your ready to clean your furniture or stairs. Great for small and big jobs. Great suction and the carpet is a lot dryer than when I used another brand carpet cleaner.

The Suction power is so strong and I don't have to deal with soaked carpets anymore. So easy to use and the light weight make it easy to be controlled. Right now I am waiting for the carpets to dry. I almost forget the real color of my carpet before buying it.

Love it. It’s perfect for all of the messes my pets cause. It can leak a little sometimes after use but other than that it is great
