Bought house and had carpet "green" cleaned, wasn't really happy about outcome. Decided to purchase this as we have 2 large dogs & a cat. Carpet only in den and bedrooms, cleaned den and WOW, so much brighter and fresher smelling. The green clean didn't smell as nice.

My favorite part about this cleaner is how easy it is to empty. Easy to assemble, easy to fill and empty, and does exactly what it's supposed to do!

Excellent small rug cleaner. We used it several times on a heavily used carpet. Great performance . Cleaning the brushes does take some time.

I was shocked how much dirt this lifted from my carpet. I’m sure it’s not as good as a professional cleaner, but it works pretty well for a cheaper home option. I’ve been happy with this so far.

I bought a Hoover Carpet Cleaner years ago, then switched to another brand to see how well it did. I'm back with Hoover and will remain here. Please don't ever stop producing these, Hoover!

Been using an earlier, similar mode that worked great. Upgraded to the newest model and it's even better. This one has been improved with a wash/rinse selector so it's easier to know what you're doing. Also have a Hoover vac and have always had great luck with the brand.

I had to replace an old Dyson after it stopping working while cleaning up my sons vomit. This product is fantastc considering the price. The only drawback is the attachment to clean the steps. Our lower pile carpet does not clean as easy.

I pulled this out to give my carpets a good cleaning since there was a little extra time on my hands, and overall it does a decent job. It does however have a few flaws: 1) the tank could be a tad larger. After doing the initial pass with soap and then a rinse, you’ll have to replace the water every 4-6 passes or so which could REALLY prolong the process. 2) the dry cycle could be warmer I feel, it doesn’t really get the carpet all that dry even with 2 passes 3) the tank leaks on the base it sits on. I’ve adjusted, readjusted and adjusted it again only to have the same result. For the “base” model, it again does what it’s designed to do for the most part

This hoover power scrub is great, lots of suction power and very easy to use. the water that collected was very dirty, that let's me know my power scrub is doing a good job. I Highly recommend this.

I needed to replace the carpet cleaner I had and was looking for a good alternative. After purchasing I used it on a very dirty carpet and the Hoover carpet cleaner worked great. I like the fact that it doesn't recycle the dirty water. My carpets look clean.

Took me some time to learn when I needed rinse & vacuum vs. soap & scrub. It worked well on a sofa, a chair and carpet. Very clean now. I think its best to run clear water and clean well before storage.

Have a new house and carpets needed cleaning after 4 years. The Hoover carpet shampoo machine did a really nice job. Was amazed how much soil we had collected for just the two of us. Would recommend this cleaner to anyone.

This carpet cleaner has been so much better than any I've used before. It cleaned my carpet better even than the commercial machines you can rent. Totally worth the investment.

Deep cleans dirt, liquids AND furr. Honwstly surprised on the furr part. Millions and millions of balls to plug and throw away! Beautiful.

This cleaner is lightweight and extremely easy to use. I needed it to remove pet stains and after going over the spots several times, they were gone. Extracts most of the water so the carpets dry fast.

We have tried other cleaners in the past. One of the most important factors is that the water tank is able to hold enough water to reduce the number of trips to the sink to empty it. It remains lightweight for a carpet cleaner, even when the water is full. Others can be heavy when empty.

I have wall to wall carpeting and two children who do not stay still. I am not a fan of waiting either!! The fact that the high traffic areas of my beige carpet look brand new and the drying time is next to nothing has made me regret not buying this sooner!!!

I use this very often since I have 2 large dogs. I love the wash and rinse cycles so I not leave soap residue in the carpet afterward... works better than the rental units!

Bought as a gift. Getting high ratings- quick drying, brushes reach deep down dirt, water tank holds enough for avg size living room My son actually enjoys cleaning w Hoover & I saved them cost & hassle of renting steam machines

The big tanks are wonderful. If only this system would heat the water like the Bissell... but they have small water tanks. Combine the 2 together to and a perfect home carpet cleaner would be made.
