Bought this one based off of the pet reviews. With two dogs and two cats, the carpets need constant care, and this was exactly what we needed. Cleans well for the price, easy to use, and the price was good. Needs to be emptied out regularly, but that was expected.

This machine is user friendly. I am not that great at putting things together, but this was so easy. Quality of machine is good and does a great job of cleaning.

Only complaint is short cord. Good reservoir size for the price. Good cleaning power.

Easy to set up and easy to use. Cleans the carpets very well, picking up a lot of dirt and grime that I didn't even really see. The only reason that I'm giving it 4 stars is because it takes a lot emptying, especially if your carpets are pretty dirty. Not a deal breaker, but large rooms meant a lot of trips to empty and fill the cleaner. It does work as intended though, it cleans, and that's why we bought it.

We considered this and the Bissell Deep Clean model. At the store we pulled both down from the shelf and checked them out. There were 3 main reasons why we selected this cleaner. - The Bissell was higher priced (we didn't want to spend $200+); - The Bissell brushes just spun and we've found they don't do much; - The 3-5 lb weight difference is noticeable. So far this cleaner has worked just fine. It's not like we were looking for a super professional model but the carpets look and feel clean after using. The long cord is useful so we don't have to unplug and relocate for 2 rooms. We haven't needed the bag of tools yet but it's nice that it can be hung up in the tool area and not have to have all of the tools hanging on the cleaner. In the past, we had a model with a single tank with two sides which leaked. So far no leaks and the connections for each tank seem stable.

I gave this rug cleaner as a gift and have received rave reviews from the recipient. The best part? The dual tank system that allows for a clean water tank for rinsing. My own, older model Hoover doesn't have this feature and I wish that it did. Great price, quick delivery and it works great. I had problems with the website when I tried to order online and a customer service rep took over and completed the order on Black Friday, one of the worst shopping days of the year. She did it with a smile in her voice. That made it worth the extra step to complete my order.

I have pretty old carpet, and this thing made it look 10-15 years newer. I used the Hoover Oxi Permanent Satin Remover shampoo, with warm water in the tank, and it worked like a charm. An added bonus is that my house smells fresh and clean. Well worth the money, especially on sale.

I bought this product after a recommendation from a coworker who owns one and reading various online reviews. I was going to rent a carpet cleaner from a local store or even call out a carpet cleaning service for badly stained carpet that had not been deep cleaned since I moved in 7 years ago. This carpet cleaner amazed me! My dingy grey carpeting suddenly got much lighter and the room even smelled better. Pet stain and a coffee stain disappeared.

I love it so much me that time is very limited that machine is very light and clean really go my carpet.

ive purchased my fair share of carpet shampooers and I must say I've always been happy with Hoovers more so than any other brand. This particular model is lighter weight than the previous model I owned. It's easy to use and I like the length of the attachment hose so you can use it on stairs and/or for your car seats/carpets. The containers for water are also easy to figure out and dump when the water gets too dirty. I have two big dogs and use the shampooer frequently it gets out stains well and when using the pet odor shampoo solution you'll get even better results. I'd also recommend getting the geek squad protection on any floor care item as the protection always covers more than what the manufacturer will cover including normal wear and tear; so, even if you use it a lot, or store it in the hot garage in Phoenix during our 115 degree summers where some of your plastic things reach the wear and tear stage a little faster than other products, I'm usually able to exchange it for the newer model, as long as it's not physically damaged from abuse. Would definitely recommend to a friend, especially if they have pets!!

I picked to buy this one after a friend had recommended it. I had just got a puppy who was having trouble with the potty traing so need something to clean the carpets. It comes with many attachments is fairly lightweight compared to others. The only downfall is the size of the tank. I have to empty it quite often but no biggie. I love it!

It cleans well and is easy to use. Directions we easy to follow and comes with cleaner if you don't have a favorite in mind. A little heavy but gets the job done

my first time deep cleaning the carpet. It was impressive. Clean very good. Good for the money. Not too expensive. Hope it will long lasting.

Used this carpet cleaner to clean living room carpet and it did a great job, following the directions exactly. Easy to empty and fill. Overall a very good experience.

This carpet machine not only got out all the stains in my carpet, but it is light and easy to use. The rotating brush for furniture is a plus!

I purchased this one to replace an older hoover that simply wore out. The small amount of assembly was easy. My first task for it was to try to remove paint out of my carpet that had been spilled the week before. The product worked beautifully, removing the remaining paint. Then I went to the spot my dog used to sleep in and it removed an unbelievable amount of dirt. The water I emptied out was sooooo dirty. I'm very pleased.

We have used this cleaner on all out carpets. It does a great job of cleaning and is easy to use.
