Very lightweight, came in one Hoover branded box and had all of the parts and necessary instructions to put it together. Pretty much you put the tank in its spot and the handle where it goes and boom you're ready. It COMES with a bottle of cleaner and it mixes the water and solution together so you don't have to worry about too much or too little. The tank is larger so you can do more cleaning and less back and forth to the sink. Great price and it uses steam heat while it cleans so it dries faster.

The Hoover did the job for me in cleaning pretty badly abused carpets of their pet damage. Easy to use and powerful. I like it a lot. In fact, now I want to clean the next room!.

Cost less than hiring commercial carpet cleaners and actually got out a stain that they couldn’t. It’s a great machine, easy to operate. I like it better than my old Bissell because of the two separate bladders. It’s pretty easy to clean the place ne that collects the dirty water. A great value. I have 3 dogs and 5 cats, so I really need this!

We had a older different brand that finally was not repairable! So we liked this machine as it was lighter and much easier to fill the tanks! More maneuverable than the old one which made it easier to use in our RV as well!

So my wife and I have 2 English Bulldogs that we love so much....but....they are kind of stinky dogs, so our carpet needs to be shampooed from time to time. We got tired of renting a Rug doctor at our local dept store, so we decided to try our own home shampooer. This Hoover has exceeded expectations!! Its lightweight and very easy to operate. The results were amazing as well. Price was also very good for the quality of machine we got.

We hooked the shampooer up this weekend and did the whole house. It was easy the best our carpet has looked in a long time. Easy to empty and refill and cleanup after we were done. The only draw back - which most shampoo units come up short on - the electric cord could be a little longer and it would be nice to have the option to switch between clean and rinse in the handle over leaning down to the bucket to make the change.

First off,gladly,the set up was surprisingly easy and straightforward.Fearing that I might have needed a bit of time to setup this bad boy,I waited for more than a week for a clear schedule,and boy was I wrong.Barely over half an hour.This machine goes deep but what really impressed me most of all was the rinsing capacity.The transparent nozzle not only lets you see the water as it is being sucked from the carpet but it just kept sucking dirty water from areas that didn't even feel that wet to the touch.And like I said,you can clearly see it in process.I repeated the rinse multiple times until the draw-off got satisfactorily clearer,but also out of amazement at the efficiency involved.In the end what was left was a barely dampened carpet that was no where near to the inconvenienvce that I had anticipated from the start.Yes,I could actually sit on it and that's no exaggeration.For both price and quality you can hardly go wrong with this Hoover.

On the advice of a friend, we looked into purchasing this unit. It was easy to use and did a great job of cleaning all of our carpets. Very satisfied with this product.

This was so easy to use and has been easy to clean. Really sucked out a lot of dirt. My brother bought the same one and he loves his as well.

Bought this Hoover Power Scrub Elite Pet Carpet Cleaner, after doing a lot of research and reading other reviews. Very happy with results - see the dog door entry was embarrassingly filthy. Thought we’d have to replace carpet. It took a few tanks but just look at the carpet now. Really great results. Assembly is easy, only two screws. I like that you can empty the dirty water with having to disassemble the other tank. Have already recommended to a friend.

Was having trouble deciding between this and another brand for almost double the price. I’m so glad I chose this one as it does a great job. It’s easy to use and fairly light. I’ve used it both to deep clean large areas as well as to just do a quick pick up from spills. I did need a fan to speed up dry time.

When I bought this I asked the guy if can be use as regular vacuum cleaner, and his say yes! Which was not true :( the instructions specified not to use it as regular vacuum cleaner, so now I need a regular vacuum, but otherwise it works great, not fast drying, maybe because is winter :(

I'm really happy with how well it cleans the carpets. It's also very easy to clean the machine after using it.

I have had two bissell carpet cleaners and thought I'd try Hoover since we're very satisfied with our Hoover vacuum cleaner. It was very easy to assemble. Our first time using it was an accidental spill (milk) and we used the upholstery tool. Carpet was more dry than when we used the bissell. Looking forward to using it to clean an entire room.

Has easy clean up, well worth the money. This thing is a serious cleaning machine.

Out of the box, there are just a few parts and the instructions are clear. During use, it does a fine job on surface dirt and fair job on pile carpeting for odor (dog) removal. It won't fix a bad carpet, but will help delay having to replace it! Filling and emptying the reservoirs is easy, and the dirty water bin comes apart for cleaning after use. I was happy with the removal of water and detergent from carpeting. The cord could be longer, but then it would be more cumbersome so I judge it to be appropriately long. Having used one other upright carpet shampooer, I didn't need to use the instructions for anything other than a cursory look during the initial setup.

This is my third Hoover carpet cleaner over the last 15 yrs. My second model didn't last long. I like the rotating brushes on all of them. This one is the most lightweight, so it's easier to carry. I wish the power cord were longer. It does a great job of cleaning the carpet.

This is so worth the money. It cleaned my carpets so good and easy to use. Quality is very well made and very lite to use for me. I would recommend this product if your are looking for a cleaner.

This is by far the best steam vac Hoover has made. Removing the Fresh water and dirty water containers, is a breeze. Older models were hard to replace, ,not this model. I am 76 yrs old, and can use the new one with no problem.
