Not bulky and easy to push around, the Hoover - PowerDash Corded Upright Deep Cleaner is a Consumers Reports top rated deep cleaner for a little over $100. It is corded so it has lot of cleaning power for this price point.

So far so good. Easy to use and very powerful suction. Clean up is easy. Carpets look much better. Time will tell if stains come back, but if they do, this machine is quick and easy. I'll just do it again. Not much more trouble than vacuuming.

Real easy to use, light machine, cleans real good , best machine i have ever used, hasnt broken down, doesnt take long to clean ur carpet, does it in seconds, real good for pers hair and dirty moist.

This in my opinion is the best budget carpet cleaner. Otherwise its very basic, and does the job. Keep in mind before using this on your carpet you need to vaccum the area well, and pre treat any heavy stains. Pros : Inexpensive Heating : For quicker drying Good suction : Removes most of the water Relatively Lightweight : Easy for most people to manuver Easy fill Container : Has flat bottom so you can fill more easily. Easy to Drain Cons : Doesnt have the widest brush area (to be expected in this price range so its a big deal) I wish the brush head cover was easily removable for cleaning (the suction part is removable but i notice hair and larger gunk builds up in front of the brush roll) Overall: Great unit for most people.

For the price, nothing beats it. When you take it out of the box and notice all the parts are plastic it's a little jarring, but after using it for a bit you realize the plastic handle doesn't matter. If anything, it makes something so powerful priced at an accessible range for non-commercial shampooers. Only downside is that it does take forever to clean each room, especially as the tank needs to be refilled with every second row. And the noise, it's loud enough to wake my wife when I'm using it downstairs.

I'm very pleased with the Hoover PowerDash. It has cleaned the carpet very well. Is easy to load the shampoo and empty the tank after, light weight so easy to maneuver around furniture. I recommend this machine.

Easy to use, brushes captured any remaining dog fur the vacuum didn't pick up. Lasted 2 years before it stopped sucking up the soap/water. We used it every other month with the Hoover mixture.

The Hoover Powerdash is a wonderful value, easy to use, cleans well, it's not too heavy with a full tank of water and surprisingly quiet. Perfect for home use.

For the price, it did a nice job. It was lightweight and easy to use. You do need to go over your area to dry and suck out all the water for a fairly long time (you should watch the little plastic piece in the front to see when the water stops rising to the dirty tank. If you do this, your carpet will dry quickly). My only complaint is that the plastic piece in front of the roller cannot be taken apart. You can take off the shield and rinse that but you cannot get between the two plastic pieces in front of the roller. No way to clean that out. Stuck looking at a little hair and dirt. Hoover should correct the way this was engineered.

Best purchase ever ! Fix all my dog accidents with no headaches ! specially like this one for its lightweight and powerful suction. leave the carpet dryer than other brand. highly suggested !

This has made my carpet cleaning a lot easier for my back. This is not a large machine but cleans as well as the larger carpet cleaners I have used. I use this for small rooms and quick messes I need to clean up . My back problems keep me from carrying the large cleaners up the steps and the PowerDash is light enough for me to carry. I brag about the good suction this little cleaner has to my family.

It's light and powerful, and really grabs up the pet stains. It's very easy to move around the carpet, regardless of height. ❤ this machine!

it was so easy to put together I did not even need the instructions I just looked at the picture on the box. I moved in my house 3 years ago and this was the first time I have ever shampooed my carpet it lifted so much dirt off them I was amazed by it. I should have got this shampooer 3 years ago I don't have to pay for anyone to do what I can do myself. #moneysaver

My daughter cleaned the carpet in the living room and the carpet looks new. Stains that's been in the carpet for years even came up, it almost looks new. I've had two other cleaners, they didn't work as good as this one and the last time we cleaned the carpet we rented one from the store and it didn't really get no of the stains. I was not going to get it because it was just $99 and I felt like it wasn't going to work good but it provide me wrong. This is the bust perchuse I've done all year.

I bought this because we have a geriatric dog. It is highly rated by the leading consumer product assessment organization and it is reasonably priced. It essentially works as promised. It squirts cleaner into rugs and extracts the cleaner back out. It is best for smallish jobs rather than cleaning entire rooms. It is easy to load but not quite as easy to clean. The beater bar is very stiff and I fear it might damage delicate carpets. But I have dog...so silk and wool rugs are not typically in my house.

Love this carpet cleaner. We have a dog and accidents happen. Perfect to use for that. It is pretty lightweight for a carpet cleaner, due to the fact I believe that the tanks don't hold that much water (one tank for cleaning water, one for dirty water). So if you want to clean a large room, you might want a bigger model, or be fine with changing the water a bit more often than you would with a bigger model. We had a bigger model before, but I prefer this one as it's less heavy.

This model is sturdy, easy to use and store. Good for my 1br apartment by the beach with sand tracked in daily. Terrific suction on area rugs, carpet and base wood floors. Fluid movement, rollers. Turns and twists nicely. You can figure out how to unlatch the components for cleaning. Simple, overall. My only complaint is the 3 major releases are LATCHES like an old ski boot. Not sure why they went old style on this? A push-release button would have been better. But the price was reasonable for a second vacuum for a small place. Just right.

I have used this cleaner many times now and find it does a great job for being a small carpet cleaner. It is very easy to use and does a good job of deep cleaning the carpets. The major draw back is that it is only good for small areas of cleaning at a time. To use this to clean a complete house would be tiresome. You only get about 5x5 section of carpet cleaning at a time. Even doing a single bedroom can be challenging. If you have small kids and pets that have a habit of making messes then I would differently recommend this cleaner.

So my landlord doesn't offer a carpet cleaning with a lease renewal, so I gots to pay. I live in a third floor apartment, and some companies won't even clean my carpet, the others want to charge me $150 for two rooms. Let's be clear, I haven't cleaned my off white carpet in two years. I bought this and I think a professional company could maybe do 5% better. I'll tell you this... this equipment just protected my $1600 deposit if my landlord tried to say the place needs new carpet.
