It does a good job on carpets, but it isn’t agile, can’t get edges and corners- as is typical of uprights. The thing that is awful about this vacuum is fur and hair wrap and tangle on the beater bar. Our house is big and there’s lots to clean- so a heavy vacuum that does do the entire job didn’t work. My housekeeper hated this vacuum and finally asked if we could get the Miele canister (Compact C1) so she could get the edges, corners, Carpet, vinyl plank, furniture and ceilings- and the Miele is lighter moving it about.

Thus vacuum is incredible and the suction is unlike any vacuum I've had before. Great price especially for what you get out of it. It made our carpet look like new despite the immense amount of pet hair. The gadets and wand are all just icing on the cake to make a very well rounded product.

I’m only thing I dislike with these vacuums is that the filters are t replaceable really. They tell you to wash them when dirty, but it feels more so like they need to be replaced not just washed.

This vacuum is great so if you have pets this vacuum will work perfect. Love the option of the brush mechanism. This is great for wood floors tile floors and carpets works perfectly on all types of flooring. For the price you can’t go wrong.

Love it. I was afraid to buy a new vacumm. I had a Kenmore from 1984 when I was in my 20's. Got my monies worth. But this picks up more lint,etc. And you can see it in the canister. I'm happy my daughter convinced me to buy a new one.

This vacuum is amazing. One of my favorite features is the hose/handle and how it comes off in two different ways; it makes it easier to quickly detach, get stubborn area(s) and keep going. It is a little bit heavier than I expected though.

Better than the previously owned Bissel but I'm used to bag dust catchers - easier to remove.

The main selling point for me on this vacuum was the pet hair tool and it's great. The power of the rollers on the couch sucks up cat hair rediculously easy. Also just make sure you press the roller button on the vacuum if on carpet, it makes a huge difference.

Couldnt have chosen a better Vaccum! First had to double check if this was only for Pets bc we have no pets lol. But it is recommended since it can pick up furr. This vacuum does magic with the amount of dirt picks up it's like it triple picks up and the light is helpful shining on the floor.

I like this vacuum, I replaced an old kenmore vacuum. The only thing I do not like is it doesn't have a push button retractable cord it is the old fashioned kind that you have to wind it around the posts. They need to change that.

We love our Upright Hoover Vacuum Cleaner. It picks up every little particle on the tile floor as well as the carpet. It is the BEST vacuum cleaner ever. We only purchase Hoover products.

Does a great job with the pet hair attachment and the other attachments that I’ve added but just rolling on the floor it’s only OK

This vacuum would be the best ever if it had the retractable cord. I love this vacuum myself to do all things. I have a dog and nobody would know walking in my house. Again would be the best vacuum ever if it had the retractable cord that’s the only down fall.

I’ve only has it for two weeks and it’s already broken.

Owned the vacuum for almost 2 months. It picks up really well, even moving from carpet to wood floors. It is very easy to empty the dirt from the unit.

This vacuum is okay but not fabulous. I haven't figured out a way yet to completely empty out the dirt canister without having to stick my arm way up inside it to clean out all of the trapped dust chunks....not ideal, ugh!! Also, the very top part of the dirt canister is supposed to twist off but mine seems to be stuck. I contacted Hoover but they were no help. The suction is okay but not enough to justify everything else. I wouldn't buy this again.

I have 3 german shepherds and vacuum daily. It picks up hair well and holds a lot before emptying. Only issue is it is a bit cumbersome turning or going around chairs.

Purchases in February By April the motor broke. Total piece of crap

I have cats and I like how it has a big duct bin and goes from carpet to hardwood and tile without changing anything. The removable hose attachment is great for stairs too.
