I never regret buying this vacuum it’s great for pets

Had some problems with the roller after a month of use. Very nice sales assistant and manager helped me fix it.

Not happy, the hose tore within the first 2 months from light use. Didn’t fall into the timeframe to have Best Buy replace, and the manufacturer customer service was horrible. We were lucky enough that a family member gave us an almost new vacuum because we’re still waiting for “someone to contact us back”

Decent for the price. Decent for the price. I recommend for general cleaning.

Having problems getting the hose to stay connected to the unit. That's annoying. Wonder if I got a lemon.

If you have a pet, look for another vacuum cleaner. The suction on hard surfaces is fine, but the suction over carpet is fair at best and I have to very slowly go over the carpet in order to see any results. After I vacuum, I STILL find more pet hair and I have a short-haired Lab Retriever. The pet hair attachment is effective but to use to vacuum an entire apartment? No thanks.

The good, it does a great job at picking up dirt, pet hair, etc. The bad, the bucket to hold the dirt and the motor all rest on the leaning pole part, so as you tilt it back to vacuum, you are holding all the weight as you are trying to push the vacuum and it also has a easy swivel mechanism which would make it nicer for vacuuming, but because it's so heavy, it makes it hard to control; the terrible, the push handle doubles as the extended wand handle, and it completely broke off because it's designed as a plastic part glued on and it is not able to handle the pressure. Had to return after only vacuuming a handful of times. Vacuums should last years, not months.

6 weeks and then had no suction from the bottom. Literally used it maybe 2xs a week to pick up puppy hair - short hair. Tried calling manufacturer and they're response was I wasn't cleaning it properly and the hose was probably clogged. Given I cleaned it out after each use, there shouldn't be a clog from tiny amounts of hair after 6 weeks. On top of that they called it a maintenance issue and said I would have to pay to fix it since this is not covered under the warranty. Back it went to the store for credit to buy something better. Never buying anything Hoover again, they're lack of decent customer service has turned me away from ever buying their brand again.

Was on sale and a good buy, but after un packing and putting together looks cheaply made.

Decided to return it because I wanted a bagged sweeper. Didn't try it out.

The vacuum does a decent job. It’s okay. Wished it did better on wood floors.

Decent vaccum a little nosy but does the job. It's easy to clean and maintain.

I'm sure it's fine if you have a small apartment and don't need to clean a whole home but it wasn't for me. The suction isn't anything amazing, the cord gets in the way of the wand if you need to take it out you have to undo the cord completely. The most annoying part is that it seems to overheat frequently. Not sure if this a reoccurring issue or if it's even overheating but it tends to shut off after 5-10 minutes of use. The light stays on and restarting it does nothing. I've tried cleaning the whole vacuum out thinking something might be stuck but no luck. Again if you have a small apartment I'm sure it's useful but if you need it in a house get something stronger and more reliable.
