Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased for my mom as a birthday gift (she picked it out)...wasn't sure how well it would clean because of the weight of it..cleaned out an ink stain that she paid a well known local cleaning company to clean and they could not...the only reason for not giving the 5th star is that the carpet did shed a little. but other than that it is AMAZING!!!! You will be amazed at the amount of dirt that this thing can pull

I like the fact that i can dry it going forward and backward. It dries pretty well also. I took away one star because I found it heavy to push forward and backwards.

The separate clean water, dirty water and detergent containers are brilliant. The machine is lightweight and easy to maneuver. Cleaning ability could be better, takes a lot of repetition and time, but does a decent job. I like this carpet cleaner much better than the Bissells I've owned in the past.

To replace the belt you have to take out like 18 screws... the motor in this blew out after only a couple years of light use, too. Not my favorite shampooer but got the job done well enough considering

Put cleaning fluid in the soap tank if you want to wash. Want to rinse? Take the soap tank off, turn upside down and it fits above the clean water tank. The whole push to wash/rinse and pull back to dry is simple and easy, and avoids needing to hold some trigger for that.

Hoover Stain Remover!

I had a very difficult time getting rid a particular stain & with one round of cleaning with this powerful device it was gone. Highly recommend.

We are very happy with the performance on flooring carpet. But it really shines on upholstery! So nice to clean where the dog jumps up on the couch, etc. Bought it on sale so definitely with every penny!
