We bought this to replace our Bissell. You definitely need to do a great job vacuuming beforehand, otherwise it's somewhat useless. The water and cleaning solution chambers are relatively large. The water chamber pops in a bit awkwardly on the front of the unit. The unit itself does a good enough job; like nearly any unit, don't expect any miracles on deep or old stains. It's pretty easy to use, clean, and maintain. A decent value but I regret not buying another Bissell.

I love it!!! It doesn’t put out a lot of water to have to dry for extended time. I had stains that I thought wouldn’t come out on the carpet but the vacuum/cleaner got those stains out.

I have an obsession with cleaning carpet and have owned many brands/models of cleaners but I have to say, this one is by far my favorite. It is so easy to use. I just wish the furniture attachment hose did a better job.

This machine works like a charm. Super clean rugs within minutes. I do like to run over a freshly cleaned carpets once over with just hot water to get the rest of the solution up.

This carpet cleaner is definitely money well spent. It leaves the carpets looking like new.

Purchased the carpet cleaner while on sale. Great deal for the price. We have only used it once so far, but it worked great. Would definitely recommend this carpet cleaner.

I love how functional this is. It's SO easy to take apart the bottom part where all the fuzzies from your carpet get stuck to clean, which totally eliminates the clogging of the spinning bristles. However, the top part where the water goes only has a very small hole and it's hard to dry out. The city did something weird with flushing out hydrants in my neighborhood, which forced some black sludge into my water container as I was filling it to clean the floors. Because of how small the hole is (like the size of a quarter) it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to stick anything in there to clean it out or dry, so that sucks. Otherwise, It works great!

We have 6 pets, so a accidents happen often around here. This is easy to use and clean and does a great job on the messes big and small.

So far it has been really easy to use. I like not having to squeeze the button to apply.

Works well. Everything is pretty easy load and dissemble. Very intuitive. If you need to do a deep cleaning, hire a professional. However, if you are the type that cleans and shampoos your carpet regularly, then this would be a great purchase.

Works GREAT!!! Actually, it does better than I expected, especially compared to what I paid it, comparing to similar products in this field.

We usually buy the Bissell ProHeat 2. Although this vacuum is very good at what it does, This Hoover is BETTER! A couple thinks I like over the Bissell is that it has 3 tanks, Clean water, Dirty Water and solutions tank. This means you can have solution in the tank and it not be mixed with water so that you can have it fresh everytime vs the Bissell is only two tanks clean solution mix and dirty tank, Also the Hoover has auto wet and dry. push forward to apply water pull back to drive vs the Bissell needed a trigger

The first time we used the machine we found it was easy to use. The ares for soap, water, etc were easily accessible and the cord was long enough to get around the rooms.

I am so glad I made this purchase. This machine cleans really good. You’ll be amazed at how much dirt was in your carpet when you get finished.

I love this deep clean vacuum! It really works well on tough stains and my carpet looks like new again! Worth the money and I got it on sale at Best Buy for under $200!

This is a work horse. It has an attachment that lets you clean furniture as well as carpets. Our area rugs and furniture looks professionally cleaned.

An excellent carpet cleaner for a very reasonable price. We use it once and month and it has noticeably improved our carpets throughout the house.

Cleans up dog urine and other with ease! First time we used it we felt like we were in an infomercial because we had such a noticable difference. Highly recommend this.

This is the best carpet cleaner I've ever used! It's so easy to clean up after use! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone that has back problems.

The product does a very good job of carpet washing however after a year of light use the belt broke and there’s absolutely no way to replace it without disassembling the unit which is next to impossible. The belt drives the rollers /brushes. I called Customer Service and there is no repair facility within miles of my Atlanta location. Because the belt is not easily replaced I do not recommend purchasing the item
