I HAVE HAD THIS PRODUCT FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS and to be frank, it is such junk! At first I thought it was the greatest thing. Then I noticed that there would be a wet spot under the carpet cleaner when I moved it (while I stored it). I emptied the tanks (except for the cleaner) so I didn't understand why it would leave a wet spot. Well I was confused why I was going through so much cleaner. So a month later I finally took out the cleaner tank and held it upside down and saw it just run out of the cap. I unscrewed it and re-screwed it multiple times. I made sure it was "on tight" just as the label says on the container. I even had multiple people try it because I felt maybe I wasn't doing it right. NOPE. DIDN'T HELP. I have owned 4 carpet cleaners in the last 10 years and this is by far the worst. I bought it because I had additional reward points and I truly regret it.

It is great for washing but for drying takes so much time. It didnt dry on how it is on advertising

I did not like how this cleaner functions. This device releases the cleaning solution automatically when pushed forward. I prefer to be in control of releasing the water when I am using a device to clean. When you do not have full control of releasing the cleaning solution when you want it released it can create a big mess.

It's pretty good carpet shampooer, it sucks the dirt at the same time. It's like vacuum and shampooer in one. Really satisfied and highly recommended.

I've had this for less than two months and the brushes already stopped spinning. There is a horrid screeching noise when we try turn it on. I'm very disappointed. Also after using the cleaner, water drips out of it. For the price you would think the parts would function and last longer. We have tried taking it apart to see if there is a belt or a part that we can replace to fix it. Forget it. Don't even waste your time. The parts don't come apart even when you unscrew everything. We can't even find out what the issue is.

It does what it's supposed to, I just was hoping for a deeper cleaning for that price.

Purchased this almost 1 year ago, within a few months it would randomly switch to dry only or wouldn't switch at all. Was a major hassle working with hoover to get it replaced. Once it was replaced after a few months brushes stopped working on the new one. Went trought the hassle contacting hoover and fighting with them, finally got it replaced and now a few months later brushes stoppex working again, we have gone through 3 of these machines in less than a year. Poor quality, doesn't last long and is a huge inconvenience jumping through hoops with hoover to get it replaced. Save yourself the trouble and purchase something else.

Worked great the first few times I used it. Then it started making a whining noise and the brushes stopped spinning. Sounds like a belt slipping. Now I get to find out how easy it is to work with Hoover on warranty repair.

Surface cleans fine but deep it does not. Autosense is not good at all will not spray solution until it says wash by this time your moving too fast to soak in and deep clean, I tried getting a fresh puppy vomit spot up its still there after going over it 5x. You can not move slow for washing so no soak time its equal to sweeping the floor >With cleaners you need to move slow during wash cycle this one you just cant I will be returning it.

HEAR ME!!!!! If i could give 0 stars i would. I HAVE EXCHANGED this out 4 times. I use it daily because of my old dog. If you buy this carpet cleaner you will find out too late. The brisstles will stop spinning. The gears inside will make a screeching noise. Again i had 4 of these. I had to exhange out each after 45 days or less. And unless you use it often you wont find out for many many months.. Stay away!! If you must have it. Get a protection plan to exchange it out.

Remove soap dispenser when not on use or it will leak

I have purchased 2 within the last year both have broken down 1. Eletrical- machine started shooting out sparks. 2nd not even 30 days out fro t roller stops working. I will tell you that the machine does clean very well.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PRODUCT!!! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS STEM CLEANER!! SHAME ON BEST BUY FOR SELLING IT! THE BELT WILL BRAKE DOWN WITHIN 3-6MONTHS! YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REPLACE! IM FURIOUS!

stop sucking the water after one hour of use. I cleaned it like the manual said, even though there was nothing really there and still did not work. I need to return.

I bought it in June 2020 because a new baby was comming…. It start leaking from day one. But 2 month ago it stop working. I only use it 12 times on my living room carpet. This is ridiculous. I loved it while it last but. I am so upset… I didn’t spect this quality in a brand like hoover and the sad part is that I do not have lots of resources to buy another one…

I was very happy when they price matched the item , but when I opened the box it clearly shows it has been used there are stains . Probably it might be refurbished product .

This machine left a bunch of black which looked like oil all over my carpet, so I returned it back to Best Buy

It does its job but nit great.First,Hard to find any hiover product to use in this vacuum.Second, the drying part takes longer than expected.

Bought this product hoping to clean carpets before summer and it was horrible. The carpets were soaked, even after I utilized the “dry mode only” feature (lets you just suck water up). Also there was soap residue on the carpets....self mixing machine....yeah right. Too much solution was being mixed in..They also recommend you re-clean the entire house with just water after as well. This is probably because they know it is not efficient however, Hoover claims it’s to “remove any residue if any at all” overall awful product

The second time I’ve used this to clean my couch there was water getting out it to the floor and also I have to fix the attachment every time in order to spray water in to the couch. I looked for the instructions and even online to see if there was a way to fix it but still don’t know what it is. I would return it but we don’t have the box. Waste of money.
