If you have pets you really need this I can’t believe how well it works

OH MY GOSH!! My carpet has never been so clean. I can't believe how much dirt it got out.

I live in the same house for the last 15 years; it is a mix of carpet and hardwood floors with rugs on them. We have always had multiple pets, dogs, cats and even a duck. You become nose blind to your house and sometimes the smells are there, and you don’t even know it. I have used commercial carpet cleaners in the past and they leave your carpet really damp, they only really treat the main walkways, your house is a mess for a couple of days and if you’re like me I only have the bedrooms carpeted so it seems a waste. I have never used a rental carpet cleaner, you never know what was put in it before you, and that’s just not a scenario that I want to think about. Well we finally purchased the Hoover Smartwash Pet Complete Automatic Carpet Cleaner and am I happy that we did. It is a no hassle process, just put water in the main compartment, put the cleaner in the cleaner compartment, plug it in and off you go. There is no mixing, there is no pulling a trigger to let out the chemicals so there is no over or under cleaning. They say it and now I believe it, it’s just like vacuuming. You push it forward and the right amount of chemicals and water go into the carpet. You pull it back and it sucks it back up. It uses heat to help it dry faster. I used it on my bedroom carpets, and it was dry by the time I had finished the other rooms and cleaned the machine. Cleaning the machine is easy also. Everything comes apart and can hand wash in the sink. It is not heavy like a rental machine, but it is solid and put together well. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to a friend.

Purchased this because my previous unit finally gave out. Seems to do a good job. Have not tried the spot sprayer yet, but seems like a good idea for our dogs. Holding off on a better rating because Hoovers just don't seem to last like they used to. Previous model was also a Hoover. Work great, but when they stop working, no good. Durability is the question.

It's a quality product but the device itself isnt so impressive.. it cleans okay but I wouldn't say it's great. The features it comes with namely the wand, are really easy replaceable with a spray bottle. It's pretty good at stain removal, we purchased for kids and pets spills. Drying feature by pulling is pretty great.
