Well I purchased this vacuum solely on brand reputation and price. I knew I would not be getting a top of the line Hoover but I thought it would be made better then it is. It’s very loud. I mean really loud. Louder than a 15hp shopvac. It does suck much better then my old upright bag vacuum. I think it would be much more quiet if the plastic used in construction was more durable but it seems quite cheap. This is definitely a pet vacuum because it will scare the crap out of Cujo. This is my first bagless so maybe they are all real loud but the suction quality is great for now. The hose extension could be longer as well. Next time I will spend more money. You get what you pay for right?

i had to replace my old vacuum cleaner and i got this in a deal. it performs better than my old one. best past is it has the auto pull of the cord when you ant rather than folding them manually. good at sucking dirt from carpet and floor. till now no issues with this.

I live this vacuum. We have a cat that sheds and this gets up all the cat hair! It’s a plus that the cord winds itself up!

This vacuum picked up a surprising amount of dog hair from my carpets and was also easy to empty.

It is powerful and sucks great. But LOUD!! I purchased it for my hair salon but had to take it out of there. I cant even describe how loud this sweeper is

Works much better than my old dirt duster. Seems to suck up a lot of dirt. Retractable cord is nice, not too bulky. Negative - dirt seems to collect on one side.

Bought on deal of the day. Lowest price I have seen on it. Works very well so far.

Lightweight vac that's great on dog hair, keeps up with six shedding pugs.

Has good suction, but the beater bar makes so much noise you can not hear someone talking in your ear. My miter saw makes less noise than this vacuum.

Again, Hoover provides another great vacuum. This vacuum is nice because you can adjust the floor levels, see what "dirt and grime" you are pulling from your rugs, and even wash and reuse the filter. It is a little loud but due to its powerful suction abilities, it makes sense. The price was affordable (got it on a "Deal of the Day"), too. I would buy again!

This vacuum performs very well. It has a powerful suction and gets the carpet cleaner than my previous brand (sounds like bark). The height adjustment is critical when transitioning from hardwoods to carpets. The hose is longer than it looks in the picture.

It seems to work fine. I guess I wouldn't expect any more for the price. Others have complained about the noise, but I didn't think it was exceptionally loud.
