We recently had new carpet installed and it's significantly thicker than any other carpet we've had. Our Dyson, which is an all floors vacuum, is very difficult to push - it gets suctioned to the carpet. I called dyson and they had me remove a foam gasket that helped a little but not enough to make vacuuming a workout. I found myself in the market for a new vacuum just for my living room. Obviously, I didn't want to spend a lot of money. My online research led my to this model. The adjustable height setting worked perfect for my situation. It vacuums nicely, has an automatic retractable cord - which is a nice feature - and is bagless. Overall, I'm very pleased with this vacuum.

I bought for vacuuming carpet, which my current vacuum didn't do well. I am really happy with how well it does. I also like the cord rewind. The cost is low and I am quite happy with it. It will do the job until I can buy a true cordless upright that does as well as a corded version.

I was able to order it online and was lucky that they had it in stock so I picked up conveniently at my local Best Buy store!. I brought it home and quickly perused the instructions and inserted the HEPA filter and was vacuuming away! My apartment hadn't been vacuumed in awhile due to my old machine being broken so needless to say this one had its work cut out for it. This vacuum cleaner did a really great job on my rug and cleaned down deep like advertised. The wand and crevice tool came in handy on the hard to reach edges and under the floating closet doors where usually nothing would reach! The price was right and the quality and design were very good. The best part is (and I'm a life-long sufferer of Asthma) the HEPA filter made vacuuming bearable without having to sit down and use my inhaler afterwards or open a window to let in some fresh air! I wasn't ever able to vacuum without that on my old one. Good riddance old vacuum cleaner--hello WindTunnel 2 Rewind!

This vacuum is light weight and does a great job. The suction is excellent and the retractable cord is very convenient. It worked so well with the hose and attachments that I was inspired to clean all of the baseboards and window sills. Excellent vacuum for a reasonable price!

This is a great vacuum with easy to use attachments, price was reasonable, very easy to clean and maneuver. I would request a longer cord but the fact that it automatically winds up makes up for the shorter cord. I would definitely recommend this item to friends and family.

The vacuum is easy to clean, feels light and even lighter when its on the right carpet level setting. Its not too noisy, just like any regular vacuum. The retractable cord is nice. There's no built in light on the front, but that's okay.

This vacuum works great. It has lots of power and the cord retraction works well. My only problem has been the plastic hinge on the bottom of the dirt canister. It breaks VERY EASILY! If you contact support at hover, they say its not a warranty item even if the vacuum is 2 weeks old. Hint, a local dealer might be able to do more toward replacing it, crazy as that sounds....IT IS STILL A SUPER GREAT VACUUM AND I AM STILL SUPRISED AT IS POWER

We are strictly a HOOVER FAMILY, my parents, my children and I all have Hoover wind tunnels. This vacuum has great suction and is easy to maneuver, especially with the handle designed to fit comfortably no matter what you're cleaning. whether it's under the bed, behind the frig or ceiling corners. And the extra long cord and attachments that can reach ceilings with ease and those hard to reach a/c ceiling grilles. Steps are easy to clean and pet hairs can't escape the wind tunnel. The bagless feature makes it just that more convenient to use anytime without that messy vacuum bag mishaps. You won't believe how much dirt is hidden in your carpets and runners till you use this wind tunnel. You will be amazed!! Love, love, LOVE IT!!!

This vacuum works great. i upgraded from a cheap eureka one. im totally satisfied with this purchase works real well in my thick carpet. and its lightweight. also the cord rewind is pretty cool. i like it.

Okay so not a huge fan of bagless but we had an old dirt devil and when we got this vacuum home I ended up vacuuming the whole house I did not realize all the dust the old one was kicking out. Plus I have cats and you can just hear the litter being sucked up. And when you have to dump it still gets alittle messy because the fur gets stuck up in there but its SO much better then my old one. Also like the features auto wind up on the cord which is nice because then the hubby doesn't have an excuses he can just hit a button. And the top of the canister has an indicator when its starting getting to full of junk.

Picked this vacuum up on sale for $100 after price shopping four other places. Wasn't sure how it would do after having a Dyson for years but just wasn't going to go spend $300-$600 on a vacuum again. Attachments are good especially the little stair cleaner, works good on rugs and furniture. Cord rewind feature is nice. Floor adjustments for height has a good range. Would definitely buy again. Easy to clan out the canister without making a mess - very important.

I'm still testing out this vac, I don't know if I like it or not. It does have it's cons and pros coming from somebody who has owned their previous vacuum for over 10+ years. This is my first bagless vac that I've ever owned and I'm kind've disappointed with the emptying of the container and the lack of suction it has for edges and corners. Coming from bag to bagless was the first priority in my search for a new vac but from my personal experiences with this vacuum, removing the filth from the container has been a messy nightmare vs just throwing away a secure bag. The design inside the container makes that "simple press of a button" seem more of a dream than reality. I personally feel like the container wasn't designed properly to handle removal of dirt that reaches a certain height inside the container. What ends up happening for me is that the dirt gets stuck at the top and there's also a chance of dirt getting stuck at the bottom around the hinges that supports the door at the bottom of the container so therefor when that happens you have to manually remove the dirt by hand or via some type of stick/tool. I find myself always shaking the container to death over a garbage can in order to remove the filth which is very messy and causes a cloud dust when the Product Features clearly states "Easily empty dirt and debris into the trash with the simple press of a button". which is true in some cases but not all. Second the lack of suction I'm receiving on the sides of this vacuum has me disappointed as well and I don't know if there really is any suction on the sides or if it's just below average side suction all together so be prepared to get a broom when dealing with edges and corners of the walls. Other than that and the lack of a light I give it a 3 out of 5 stars. The overall power of it is amazing though. So I hope this review helps somebody.

This vacuum cleaner is a beauty. I was surprised by its cleaning performance and power. This vacuum cleaner picks up much more than my previous Hoover did. I enjoy using it.

I had an older model that needed replaced. I hate to rewind cord so the rewind button is a plus. Cleans carpet well. A bit noisy.

My wife and I looked at vacuum cleaners for 6 months before deciding this Hoover. We read all the reviews and were comfortable with price, and were very happy with this purchase. The only issue we have found is the weight, its a little heavier than she would like(but that's why she has me). Other than that its a great product.

This is kind of a bulky vacuum. So it would be a pain to clean stairs and move it around if you have a big house and weak little trex arms. Fortunately I live in a 1000sq ft apartment and my arms are strong like ox. I had a Dyson before and it was only good for maneuverability. The hose extended really well and turned like a f1 racer. But this one is old fashion and the hose BLOWS but it works. Another thing I don't like is when you use the hose the spinners don't stop. A good vacuum will turn it off cause it can mess up your carpet. I just changed the setting to high carpet. But it has a WASHABLE hepa filter and dirt catcher that dumped from the bottom like a Dyson. That's all I needed cause I'm no pretty princess. DON'T GO CHEAPER the red devil blows! Oh and this has a retractable cord something the Dyson DOESNT have! I'm dreading the day it breaks... but it works well now! hehehe

Its a vacuum.... It sucks. :-) It seems to do a great job on our carpets, the fact it's bagless means I don't have to buy and keep any bags available or stored for when I need them. The auto retractable cord has a piece of tape on it that lets you know when your about out of cord to pull out, and rewinds it at the push of a button. Nice. I know, I'm lazy, it would be just as easy to wind it up myself, but this is a nice addition.

Very good vacuum cleaner for the price. Quite powerful and very easy to use. The automatic cable retractor is a useful feature. Easy to "drive" on the carpet and on stone or wooden floor. Cleans well and leaves the carpet looking as new. Inexpensive compared to other products, and seems to be of a good product quality (just used 3 times so far...).

Good vacuum. Suction is great. Rewound up cord is nice (Must get used to pulling it out). Emptying canister is mostly easy (Might have a hard time locking the canister back into one piece when finished emptying it). Accessories work well. Easy to maneuver even on non-carpet surfaces. Only dilemma is the switching of the floors switch (Sometimes it does not feel like it switches to the height of the floor it is supposed too). Besides that, this vacuum is a good one.

Great vacuum and reasonably priced. Easy to assemble and use. Retractable cord is a nice feature.
