Cleaner is very easy to use. The brush attachment storage is a little awkward.

Vacuum has excellent suction and the option to turn off the brush is great. It's a little heavy and it's too powerful for small area rugs even with the brush off. For the money though it's a great deal.

I replaced my other hoover wind tunnel 2 which was great on pet hair. That why I bought this vacuum however I have to adjust when going from hardwoods/lineloum to low carpet and rugs. The brush attachment that is secured on the back of the machine falls off occasionally where it attaches at could be stronger to keep this from happening.

Purchased the Wind Tunnel 3 High Performance Pet Bagless to replace my old bag Hoover Wind Tunnel. This does great on rugs as long as you have the floor setting to a lower number and use the beater brush (which is not recommended for 2 of my rugs). Without the beater brush, it does nothing. Terrible on hard wood floors, the dog hair just hangs on the brush and I have to pick it off and put in trash. And when emptying the container, do it outside and be prepared to take a shower afterwards. Dust goes everywhere, all of the pet hair and dust does not come out until you beat on the container or reach into it to pull the stuff out. Wish I had realized Best Buy had such a short window for returns. This would have gone back.....now it's 2 months old and headed to Goodwill. And now I have to go back with my old vacuum to get everything that this new one missed..........

Hi PetOwnder! If you find that you have to reach inside the dirt cup to completely empty it, this is an indication that the dirt cup is getting too full. On the dirt cup there's a Max Fill Line. Once the dirt reaches this line, you'll want to empty it. Hope this helps! ~Kenya, Hoover Customer Care Hoover

We needed to be able to turn off the roller, lots of wood floors, and reach high blinds and valances. Also we needed strong suction for cat hair in carpets and upholstery. This vacuum is excellent on all counts. Unfortunately I didn't notice that it does not have a motorized brush. It is a bit heavy, and on plush carpet, it is very difficult to push. We have to adjust the height higher than we'd like. My husband and I are close to & over 6', a smaller person might have trouble with this vacuum. This can clean everything you want very well, but get ready to workout your biceps! PROS: Strong suction, long reach with telescoping wand, ability to turn off rollers for bare floors, easy to empty, hepa & washable filters. CONS: Heavy, no motorized brush so it is hard to push on carpet.

This Hoover does a great job on bare floors and carpets. The on the fly asjustments work well. The attachments are handy. The one accessory brush does fall off quite a bit so I had to store it elsewhere. Overall it is easy to use and does the job.

I am a heavy user of vacuums, brutal in fact. This is a great machine. I did have a brush roll problem, which was quickly and courteously corrected by the factory. Love this vacuum! It is the best ever!

It's a nice vacuum. It vacuums nicely, has some god tools. It's a little hard to push, it requires a little extra muscle. The brush tool doesn't store well on the vacuum, and falls off constantly. Other than that, I think it was a good value for the money. It's sturdy, has a very long cord, switches easily from floor to hose, has a nice hose extender and stair/furniture brush that works really well. The canister opens easily for emptying. I'm happy with my purchase.

My previous bagged Hoover upright, finally broke for good. I always like the suction power of it, but the quality was garbage. I have never wanted a bagless upright, but needed a vac in a hurry, so we bought this one. I have had it a month and can't stand it. 1st off, the brush adapter does not stay on when you vac, so it is in the closet. The height adjustment knob is a huge pain in the ... to adjust, I don't know how an older person would turn this. To use the suction hose, you have to turn a dial, what?? Finally, I don't know how anyone can have a bag less vaccu m. Unless you empty it outside, half of the dust goes back in the air when you dump it. Then, whoever puts stuff in the trash after you empty it, expels all of that dust from the trash, into the air. I know others like these type of cleaners, but I am not a fan. The sad thing is I can't return it, so I have to learn to love it. : @@@@@@@@

Heavy, basic vacuum w/cheap plastic attachments

I like the convenience of the long, extended power cord. It would be nice if the power cord was retractable. The vacuum cleaner does take some effort to maneuver around the carpet. When you want to use the hose (for attachments), you have to change the dial located on the lower part of the vacuum. The attachments are more of an inconvenience. Maybe I have a defective product, the extension attachment will not stay extended regardless of which way it is turned. The brush is flimsy, making it difficult to use w/out it flipping backwards. The more narrow tipped attachment is a piece of short plastic. The handheld rolling brush is ok when it isn't interrupted and stops. Hoover used to make a great vacuum cleaner. I'm not sure why the quality and ease of use has become more cumbersome. Maybe Hoover should consider finding different product testers. More specifically, I'm volunteering. . please let me know the requirements to support. I don't recommend this vacuum cleaner for anyone. The attachments are frustrating bc the extra effort required to use them. Hoover dropped the ball. The one star is simply bc the long, extended power chord.
