Customers love the comfort and quality of the Split Pad Compact for Nintendo Switch, praising its improved grip and more compact size compared to other controllers. However, some users point out the lack of rumble and wireless functionality as significant drawbacks. While some experienced issues with stick drift, many appreciate the enhanced feel and control in handheld mode.

I can never go back to regular joy cons again. They are very responsive and holding the switch feels good. I can play for hours without my hands getting tired or numb. They did get some time to get used to, about 3 days but after that it was all good!
Keep in mind, these are not wireless and can only be used attached to the switch console.

Controllers were extremely comfortable, build quality felt amazing. Buttons were super satisfying to press, joysticks were smooth and had lots of range. No rumbl isnt a huge deal but No Gyro controls is rough especially on games that use it like Zelda BotW or TotK. I also guess I just got unlucky and got stick drift on the first day so I returned them. I never re bought it also because it didnt fit in my portable case. Wish they here built a little tougher.

Much more comfortable to game now in handheld. Still fits on the dock with this on too. Dont have to be switching back n forth. Yes, some features are missing like hd rumble and gyro but i think its a good compromise

Perfect design for any Gengar enthusiast in your life! Makes playing handheld so much more comfortable, and worth every penny. Only downside is that they don’t fit in traditional switch carrying cases so just keep that in mind if you’re the type to travel with your switch a lot.

Although these don’t have rumble or gyro. For most games in portable mode they are waaay better than the standard joy cons.

These controllers have made me actually enjoy playing my Switch in handheld mode, which I've almost never done since getting it on launch day. They feel good in my hands and the buttons are really nice, the sticks especially. You lose a couple features like rumble, but not a big deal for me. I have small-ish hands so this is perfect for me, but I think they would be fine for larger hands as well. But if you're really worried, just try out the regular-sized Hori Split Pad!

I have to wait about 7 day to get it delivered. It worth the wait. Somehow it ended up place in a wrong palette in shipping department fly all the way to California to North Carolina. But hey the controller made it without a problem no sign of tamper or damaged. The controller is Great but there some downsides it doesn’t have Vibration, Wireless and NFC. But it worth buying it if you looking for a controller similar to pro controller.

They feel great in your hand for when you want to play handheld mode. They feel pretty well constructed and are great if you want something more comfortable than the joy-cons. The reason I’m giving a star off, You CAN NOT map buttons from one controller to the other. They don’t have a battery in them, so not realizing, I bought them with intent to add both the “X and B” buttons to the programmable buttons on the left and right. You can’t do that. So that’s why I’m taking a star off.

I picked these up as a more ergonomic option to the standard joy-cons and I was not disappointed! The sticks and buttons feel really solid and everything is very responsive. While I wish it had motion controls and HD rumble, these are small sacrifices for a more comfortable grip during gameplay. Recommended!

Great controller set with amazing comfort. Slightly smaller than its counterpart, yet just as sturdy and comfortable. Buttons are responsive and the joysticks are way better than the original licensed joy-cons.

I love pokemon and when I saw these controllers for my Oled I grab them! The make handeling the console so much better if you perfer to play on its own. They are a bit bulky so if you have any of the switch accessories to keep it safe you might have to remove them in order to fit them. Also you cannot connect them to play. They ate just ment for the concole solo play. I learned that the hard way. I love them. They did comeright out the box with a bit of drift but it went away. Get these for your pokemon lover!

Where do i start with this? Hori controllers are a must have for any gamer who has a switch, comfortable to the hold, light and easy to use. And if you are a pokemon fan, well don't doubt it

I love the controller. My only problem is that people might think they are replacements for joy con controllers. I know better not to expect the same features, so im not too disappointed. The controllers dont work independently of the console, they dont have rumble, they dont have NFC or infrared. Otherwise they are good controllers. They provide good grip and work well.

Great controllers that I never use. Feels good in the hands, buttons feel squishy but work. If you play your switch in handheld mode for long periods and find you hands cramping using the small joycons this is great.

Great balance between the smaller size of the hori split pad pro and newer buttons that feel better. Still lacks rumble which i was hoping for, but over all a solid ergonomic joycon replacement for hand held gaming.

Much much MUCH better than the joycons. On the downside you lose out on rumble and the ability to play on the go while they're detached. However, as an adult who just enjoys some no-frills gaming during their lunch break, I swear by these. Not immediately shown are two easily mappable buttons on the back (no software needed) that also come in handy.

Very good feel in the hands, both in button actuation and in general build quality. They have a nice weight to them and don't feel like cheap plastic waste.
My only con is that the button mapping is a little unintuitive. If you switch the back button mapping often then you'll probably just memorize the sequence, but if you're like me where you need to change the binding once in a blue moon then hold onto the manual so you can reference it later.
