Customers are pleased with the Split Pad Pro for Nintendo Switch, particularly its comfortable design, suitable size for various hand sizes, and overall high quality. The grip and feel are also well-received, along with the lightweight nature and responsive buttons. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the lack of rumble and vibration features, the inability to use the product wirelessly, and the potential for accelerated battery drain.

This product is really helpful if you have big hands. The grips make it feel more like a steam deck sized handheld.

Makes the switch look beefier but it grips my kids hands so much better.

So I got the Hori Split Pad Pro controllers today, and I'm glad I did. First of all, they're cheaper in price than the regular joycons, which boggles the mind. 2nd of all, they are very comfortable for when playing handheld, which is the only way I play the Switch.
The 2 protruding grips are there to rest your fingers against, and it makes a huge difference in comfort. The buttons and +pad are a bit bigger. The joysticks are much looser, which made me nervous at first, that they'll break off. But I tested them, and they're very sturdy.
The thickness of the controllers are such that the screen looks "deeper", not sure how else to describe it. I like it, maybe it's my imagination, but to me it improves the screen images by blocking glares.
There are "assign" & "turbo" buttons at the bottom for you to assign a function button to something else during gameplay. You don't have to go to the game settings to do this. The turbo feature is for you to have continuous fire for a shooting game without continuously pressing a button. I haven't tested this yet. There is also a button on the back of each controller, which can be assigned a function. You can simply use these buttons by squeezing your fingers on the grip. Personally, I'm not that crazy about them, since I tend to squeeze my Switch during intense moments of gameplay, and may accidentally do something I don't want to do.
I have two cons about the controllers, but they're minor. One, there are no rumble features. I do like that on the regular joycons, but I played a game using the Split Pad Pro, that had rumble features, and I barely noticed that it wasn't there. Two, the front of the controllers are made of a very smooth plastic. I like to keep my thumbs on the controllers when they're not on a button or joystick, and sometimes they slip on the smooth plastic. Like I said, not a biggie, but I do have to get used to it. I do love the back of the controllers, however. They're made of the same plastic, obviously, but it's textured, not smooth, for a much better grip.
I highly recommend these controllers.

If you like playing the Switch handheld but don't think the joycons are comfortable, get these. Can guarantee you will not regret it. The most comfortable, ergonomic controllers I have held. And they have a couple of programmable functions as icing on the cake. THEY NEED TO MAKE THESE ON THE SWITCH 2 ASAP, I AM WAITING.

I use these controllers more than the usual joycons just because I hate that the regular joycons get drift so easily. These aren’t as stiff and I like that there’s an assign button on each joycon
