Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the Split Pad Pro Handheld Controller for Nintendo Switch due to its comfortable design, suitable size for various hand sizes, and high-quality build. Users appreciate the enhanced grip, great feel, lightweight yet sturdy construction, and responsive buttons. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the lack of rumble and vibration features, the inability to use the controller wirelessly, and potential battery drain. While some are not concerned about drift, it is still worth noting.

    Great alternative for handheld mode

I really like the way the controllers fit in my hand compared to the joy-cons. My hands would often go numb while playing handheld mode but not anymore. If you don’t need to have vibration then this controller is the move.

Way better feel and control than joycons, downside is they dont have batteries and can only be used in handheld mode. For the price its what you'd expect, definite upgrade to the otg feel.

    Good Optional Joycons

This was a nice set of additional joycons, I ended up returning them because they were incompatible with a case I previously purchased. But, still think they are something that other customers would enjoy. Very comfortable. It's worth noting that these are not wirelessly compatible. They are strictly for another option for your handheld experience. It includes rapid fire and extra programable buttons for a more dynamic game play.

Great controllers, the only drawback is it does fit in the charging station as easily as the smaller ones.

The grip is really nice. Buttons and joysticks work really well too. One thing to note: there are NO haptics, but for certain games, I feel like this is a bonus. Also, when attached, it no longer fits in my slim carry case.

Doesnt have rumble or motion sensing, and can't use one side as its owen controller. BUT it's a good value, its light and much more comfortable to hold in handheld mode than regular joycons. Having the programmable back buttons and turbi mode is a nice plus.

    An almost perfect handheld controller...

If you are looking for a more comfortable handheld console experience, then you've come to the right product. The joycons do not even come close to how well these feel on the hands. I guarantee you won't get cramped fingers with these. However, I should point out that these Hori pads don't have gyro controls. Had they not excluded that feature this would have easily gotten a perfect rating from me.

After buying my switch I couldn't really play it cause trying to play with the thin joy cons caused my hands to cramp and fatigue real quick robbing me of my playing time. After buying these my hands no longer run into cramps/fatigue and I can enjoy my switch the whole reason why I bought it. I do recommend these to anyone with hand problems.

Ok… I like the grip it feels good and comfy but in terms of quality I’m not to impressed. It felt cheaply made and just a little expensive considering it doesn’t have a battery in either con. Knowing it’s a good replacement I’d still recommend, just worried it might not last long

They run very smoothly with the switch, also it has a Matte cool color. It has very little weight. I think the only problem its that you cant charge the switch in the deck when its attach to it.

Hand Held Pro Controller with a catch.

Although this makes your switch a little bigger than regular joy cons it does feel smaller than using a satisfye grip. The analog sticks are amazing and the dpad works well enough for 2d platformers. This makes your system extremely light because the split pad pro controllers are lacking rumble, NFC and motion. If you splay a lot of platformers or shooters I would highly recommend this controller.

Love the thumbsticks and d-pad! I do not have to remove it to dock and over all better than buy joycons. My Satisfye Grip was super comfy to play with but removing it to dock wore out the silicone pads holding it in place and it began to have play or walk out of the grip. The Split Pads to me feel way better than a Pro Controller.

I have had these for about two weeks now and theyre great, dont expect them to fit in an older carrying case, but its perfect for any sized hands. My reasoning for 4 ibstead of 5 stars is because there is no rumbling on the controllers. Still recommend nonetheless

Pros: -Ergonomic -Buttons feels like a normal controller -Dock compatible -Officially Licensed by Nintendo Cons -Missing features like Rumble, Gyroscope, NFC -A little pricey for what it offers -Makes the Switch a little bit wider in handheld mode (kinda awkward for me) Would’ve been a perfect alternative to joycons if it included more features. But then, Nintendo would’ve not sold any more joycons if that’s the case.

Light years better than joycons. Very comfortable and back paddles work great. Only downside is each paddle only sync's with with a button on the same side of controller, and theres no rumble.
