Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the Split Pad Pro Handheld Controller for Nintendo Switch due to its comfortable design, suitable size for various hand sizes, and high-quality build. Users appreciate the enhanced grip, great feel, lightweight yet sturdy construction, and responsive buttons. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the lack of rumble and vibration features, the inability to use the controller wirelessly, and potential battery drain. While some are not concerned about drift, it is still worth noting.

The only negative is there is no rumble feature. Other than that it’s great for when you want to play in held held mode

They fit great in my hand, they make the switch seem larger in a good way, but remember that these cannot be played wirelessly.

Worked wonderfully for games where the joy-cons just dont work well enough and you need something thats more like a standard controller when playing it handheld.

This controller is fantastic. It is much more comfortable for my hands while playing the switch in handheld. I wish the d-pad was more responsive for games with a lot of intense inputs, but totally prefer over joycons!

Overall this controller is better than the normal joycons, but there are a few things I don't like. The first thing is the two mappable buttons on the back of each controller. I don't really have a use for them so I haven't set them up, but I can feel them constantly while using the controller and it just gets annoying after a while. Would have preferred a smooth back. The second is the right analog stick position. It's placed just close enough to the ABXY buttons that the side of my thumb rubs against it as I'm pressing those buttons. Lastly, there is no rumble feature which I didn't realize before buying. Not very important but would have been nice.

The feel of the control is awesome, and better if you have bigger hands like me. The only downside is that if you play on the TV, the control is not wireless. But it is great

Instant cure for hand cramps. Insanely comfortable to use, light and does not cause any wrist strain while holding. Good feeling triggers and analog pads, buttons are snappy and responsive. Have not tried out the turbo or action recording yet, but I'm sure those could be quite useful for some games.

This split pad is a game changer for handheld. I don’t even use the joy-cons anymore. The one flaw of these things is they don’t have motion controls for aiming, nor are they able to scan amiibo.

I think this controller attachment delivers on its basic promise: a full controller setup for your Switch in handheld mode. Its well made, and the analog sticks are buttery smooth. My main complaints: no rumble, no home button to wake the system, the grip patterning is not the most comfortable (though effective), and my biggest complaint is that the rear paddle buttons they have added are extremely awkward and uncomfortable, as they sit exactly where your ring and middle fingers want to rest/hold the grip most firmly.

The Hori Split pad pro is a great replacement for the joy controllers. The makes the holding of the Nintendo Switch more comfortable.

These r the perfect replacement for the original joycon controllers. The controllers feel real nice in hand and buttons and analog stick have a notable difference that is 100 times better. Must buy!

Amazing feel and quality but for a few reasons not for me. - no vibrate/hepatetic feedback - will not fit in switch dock mounted to wall (anything that increases the thickness of the dock)

    Best Controller for the Switch

These should be the default controllers that come with the Switch. The original that comes with the switch is tiny compared to these. The Hori is better fitted for bigger hands. It gives a actual controller feel when you pick it up. Definitely recommend to everyone, especially since it has the assigned buttons for better function.

It’s a great pick up but get the one with the middle piece. Yes it’s more expensive but it’s worth it I made the sad mistake and don’t do that and RIP trying to find it

Buttons feel nice, build quality is good just too big for me. I have average size hands and prefer the Compact version. If you have bigger hands though this is the one.
