Design Flaw results in frustrating game play

The L1 and R1 buttons stick after very minimal usage time. I had hoped it was just the controller I bought the first time but this appears to be a design flaw in possibly all of them.

That only happened after 30 minutes of trying and it finally worked after I put a normal joy con on the left and the Hori on the right. I found out that if I could get the FL, the button on the back of the left pad, to work it would only pair to buttons on the left pad. Returned

Too big for me

Feels cheap

Their form factor is around double the thickness of the switch. The buttons also felt really cheap. For a 50 dollar controller, officially endorsed by Nintendo, I really expected a better product.
