Customers enjoy the Split Pad Pro Handheld Controller for Nintendo Switch due to its comfortable design, suitable size for various hand sizes, and high-quality build. Users appreciate the enhanced grip, great feel, lightweight yet sturdy construction, and responsive buttons. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the lack of rumble and vibration features, the inability to use the controller wirelessly, and potential battery drain. While some are not concerned about drift, it is still worth noting.

MUCH more comfortable than the joycons, only downside is the lack of rumble. But the comfort these add actually allow me to use my switch in handheld mode longer than 10 minutes.

This controller is way better than the joycons that Nintendo makes. I've been using it extensively for a few months and haven't got any drifting issue yet.

Great item highly recommend for personal switch use if connected directly to switch, more responsive then joycons when connected but prefer the joy cons when used independently. I recommend if you buy this item go with the version that also includes the center holder so you can play away from switch as well otherwise use joycons

These fit really well in my hands. Also the buttons are clicky so you can slient play for those people who wanna play at night but dont want to wake up your spouse or kids. Used to get hand cramps from playing the switch for too long with the original joy cons but i dont feel that much fatigue from these grips.

Whether it be this or the split pad compact, they are slightly bigger than the official joy-cons, and better despite the lack of electronics, so to be fair deposit it is, it’s big enough and it’s more ergonomic for your hands, the only downside is, there is no NFC there is no rumble, and there is no motion controls what that still does not make it any less worth it, I have used these and previous models of this 3-4 years. No drift.

Very nice! I bought this after my son’s Joycons broke. Unlike the Joycons which you can pull off the base and use separately, you cannot do that with these. The controllers are mounted to a base so you can slide your switch in and out, but you can’t separate the left and right controllers.

Performs well, buttons and sticks feel good— however, I don’t find it comfortable to hold. I have relatively small hands, so this likely wouldn’t be an issue for those with larger hands. After buying this controller, I picked up Hori’s split pad Conpact and loveee it. Fits my hands better and has great contouring on the back.

Very ergonomic controller. Dpad and joysticks are awesome to use. If you have large hands like me this is a must have for extended play times. Joy cons would cause my hands to cramp up after an hour use. Only downside is there is no rumble but can live without it. May be a deal breaker for some but otherwise this controller is awesome!

I would recommend this to adults use with switch because it'll be too large for a kid's hands but the regular controller is too small for an adult hands.

I wanted a better way to play in handheld mode so I ended up buying this. It was probably one of the best decisions I could have made. The size of the buttons and the control sticks makes it easier to play, and I find it’s more comfortable to hold on to. If you want a good alternative to using joycons than this is the way to go.

Love this controller, I have used this for hours at a time and I never get fatigued from using them vs the stock controller. Now I prefer to use my switch handheld vs, playing on the TV with my pro controller. Great purchase if you need something comfortable for handheld playing. The shortcut buttons on the back are really useful as well!

Highly recommend. We own 2 sets in our household. More affordable than joycons, more ergonomic than joycons and priced a lot more affordably than joycons.
Be advised that these do not have rumble or NFC functionality. If those features are important to you, look elsewhere.

I bought this for myself, dad, for when I want to steal the switch from the kids. Gives you the old school feeling with everything in your hands. The controls are setup with comfort in mind for long term play.

I love the controller! Both sides feel comfortable in my hands, I just wish there was wireless connectivity and/or amiibo reading capabilities. Would recommend for the price.

Much better quality than official Joycons and for a lower price. I'm loving the grip and shape, they feel more natural and balanced than the Joycons, as well. The sticks are sturdier and much less likely to jam/break, and the buttons don't get stuck or stop functioning.
This is the type of design that Nintendo SHOULD have gone with.
