After purchasing would not work in my PS4. Found out the dvd wasn't able to read anything. Was unable to return the game all they would do was exchange.

Great game, grindy as hell. Too many menu items and UI design is bad. Not as good as the first game. Still worth it for a single l Playthrough.

Not a bad game but I wouldn't call it a good game. I like the boss fights and battles, but eventually got bored with it and stop playing for 5 months. One thing I hated was the dialog with the NPCs and I did not like the story. It made me cringe on multiple occasions. I did like the first game in the series. Wait for this game to be on sale or pick it up used.

Wow… if you liked the first Horizon Zero Dawn installment, you will really like Horizon Forbidden West. The graphics are amazing, gameplay is smooth, and story is inthralling. More weapons, fighting skills upgrades, character upgrades and other skills upgrade. I really like the new grappling hook and glide shield. More characters, tribes, and larger map. Also, buy the PS4 version and get the free upgrade to the PS5 version and save $10.

Boring. And I’m not into using some cheesy grappler thing constantly.

Horizon: Forbidden West is a fun ride. Not only does it look incredible but the gameplay and mechanics have improved with an extended storyline. I’ve spent over 20hrs in the game already and not wanting to set it down. The reason I’ve given it 4 stars and not 5 is because there are a few bugs/glitches that I’ve seen along with some horrible fps in some cases whether I’m using fidelity mode (4K with 30fps lock) or performance mode (reduced resolution but 60 fps). I had to complete stop playing and restart my save or close the game app and re-enter a couple times. Once I see a little more consistency in that space I’ll change this to a 5 star easily.

Pretty good game, game play is amazing and the music is very nice.

Why? Because you'll save yourself 10 bucks for the free PS5 upgrade that you would normal get from the PS5 version. There is absolutely no point in purchasing the PS5 version, unless you really want that white PS5 banner on the case. Other than that, the game is absolutely fantastic.

I still have not received this game… it hasn’t even shipped yet. I was charged for it though, and told by my local BestBuy store that I can’t cancel the order or get the game from them in the store. Supposedly it’s in back order but it’s now February and I placed this order on Dec 20 2023….very disappointed on BestBuy after this experience. My son has been waiting patiently and basically BestBuy took my money…

Beautiful game with amazing combat. A great improvement to the first game.

It’s good but extremely difficult with the guild and on normal. So there is no flow just a ton of starting from last save point. If u like games that seem like work then this is for u. I play all kinds of games. This is not as fun as most other games due to the slow movement and low damage my character has. Maybe I missed something but I am just following the guidance the game provides. I’m literally stuck on a boss with no way out.

I've really been enjoying the game so far! While it doesn't do anything groundbreaking or make any huge changes, it does a good job of building up from the original.

We have 3 kids that were very excited to FINALLY get this, and I’ve heard nothing but excited discussion and happiness about the game from them.

I really want to like FW and am very disappointed. The graphics are good on PS5 but it's juat not fun to play. Too many cut scenes and NPC interactions referring back to ZD. NPCs follow you around and get in the way in some quests. Robots are graphically interesting but not as much fun to fight as in ZD - they jump and spin around randomly. Too much of the story in FW refers back to ZD so it doesn't stand on its own. Apparently men are all stupid or evil in FW. Too much estrogen in this version for me. I'm 10 hours in and not going to play anymore. Get it on sale.

Awesome looking game expecially on the Ps5. They really upped their tallents in this one.

What else can I say that hasn't already been said, this game has gorgeous graphics and is a blast to play!
