Dont often get review codes but for some reason GG and Sony were very loose and eager to do so and i can see why. The game is maybe the most technically achieving console production i have ever seen, its not only gorgeous but runs great on a standard PS4. I am also a pc gamer and let me tell you this game from a visual standpoint blew me away. Many compare this to far cry, some go as far to call it a reskin of such and while sure certain aspects that are found if FC and other open world games can also be found here some of the mechanics or gameplay functionalities feel evolved, smarter and more intuitive. This game handles those similar functionalities faster, smarter and more enjoyable due to it. Not many open worlds do side quests right, i assume is difficult to strike a good balance without overwhelming the player, some devs add stuff in the game for the sake of more things to do but dont put much tlc into such thus the content sometimes ends up feeling dull and repetitive. Zero Dawn does side quests in a way where it feels meaningful and while icons still scatter about the map i felt more inclined to do most of it because many were or felt dynamic in a sense and came into play as far as the main mission is concerned. NPCS notice if you "did or didnt do the thing" and the dialogue will reflect it. I think my review is not very relevant due to you being able to watch tons of videos and proper reviews already in the wild so i will wrap this up, if you own a PS4 you owe it to yourself to play this game. Forget to mention, the story .. I was content with having a gorgeous open world game with great combat and atmosphere, i didnt expect the story to be good, expected average at best and the story ended up being one of this games strong suits. Wont spoil the story BUT the game does something else thats rare, a proper ending with closure while still opening the door just wide enough for a second installment. The Story is solid, Good Voice acting and Great writing are main contributors to why i found myself getting goosebumps on several occasions. I dont wish for dlc often BUT i want more. Currently this is PS4' S "killer app" I ended up buying a copy off of here because they earned my money and will be covering this game and feel like i can be completely transparent in terms of not being biased due to getting a free version Feel free to ask me anything, More than happy to fill you in. i have at least 40 hours into this game and i Adore it. This is probably the best game I've played in a long time. The graphics and design are absolutely gorgeous. The story is solid. The combat is engaging. There is tons to explore. This is everything an open world adventure game should be. For the collector's edition, the weapon and outfit packs give you a decent boost and save you some money (which can be hard to scrounge up at the beginning). The steelbook, art book, and statue are all beautifully done. I took a gamble buying this package without knowing much about the game, and I have not been disappointed. Worth every penny.

PlayStation has done it again. the exclusives by far o0ut match any other competitor. This game is a 10 for me without a doubt. Beautiful graphics, gameplay and story. Don't stop playstation. your games continue to deliver that "wow" factor

I was so hyped for this game. And very seldomly does a game live up to such immense hype these days. But Horizon Zero Dawn blew me out of the water. Everything about this game is stunning and extremely well done. Definitely one of my new favorite games. If you've even had an inkling of a doubt as to whether or not to buy this game, just do it. You will not regret it. I also got the collector's edition and I've got to say, the statue of Aloy standing over a Watcher is incredibly detailed and very well made. Definitely worth the purchase.

I was interested in the game since it was announced, I decided to go for the collector's edition because there was a discount paying with visa checkout plus my GCU. The statue that comes with it is awesome, and I like metal cases a lot. There's a voucher for some DLC as well. It comes with some outfits I have not used, an avatar an a Special PS4 Theme which is not that cool to be honest. The game itself is awesome, I've already lost many hours to it and I plan to Platinum it so I'll be playing it for a long time. Totally Recommend it.

I will say this, I specifically bought my PS4 last summer in anticipation for this game. I am primarily an Xbox gamer and with fewer and fewer exclusives, it has been easier to avoid getting every console again. However, this game was too good to pass up. The graphics and story are incredible. I was captured from the moment I started playing. The statue with the game is very well made and the details are apparent. Not the best ever but pretty good. Game makes it worth it.

I'll be honest, I haven't finished the game yet. That being said, it is already the most captivating game I've ever played. Playing on a 4K TV and a PS4 Pro, I'm constantly amazed at how beautiful the game is. The steel book for this is very nice as is the concept art book. The statue is well done (although one of the extra arrows included in the package broke immediately after I opened up the package).

Try not to be over taken by the summary this game looks great hands down. I do love the play mechanics as well. The best looking fantasy game out right now period. Really good story to go along with the good looks I really like the statue that came with the collectors edition. Once I started play really hard to set it down. Caulk up another great one for PS. I was hyped for this since seeing the footage at E3. I was not dissapointed; the combat is unreal, the visuals are breathtaking, and the story is compelling. It is among the best PS4 games of all time. The collectors edition doesn't give that much extra, but the statue you get is gorgeous and something I will cherish in my collection forever.

This game is amazing! Graphics are beautiful , gameplay is great, and the story is pretty good. The collector's edition comes with a beautifully detailed statue of Aloy, steelbook case, artbook, and some digital outfits and weapons for Aloy. Great collector's editon!

I was very pleased with this set. The steelbook is a matte finish, but really sweet looking. There's a small art book that comes with it and the statue is plastic, but very detailed. Very much like the Assassin's creed III statue if you're familiar with it. Great game so far as well. Highly recommended.

First off for the collectors edition those of us who bought this box probably realized the thing was freakin huge and the statue that came with it was pretty big so kudos to that. As for the game, the graphics look fantastic, unfortunately I don't have a Pro yet so it's only in 1080p but still looks great. The gameplay is very easy to pick up on whether your a novice to games like the Witcher or this style of game play is your favorite genre. The story is top notch, really leaves a lot of theory and hypothesizing what happened and who your character is a really gives you a feel of the story as you progress through it whether you just play the game or really dive into the lore of the game and read every data point (which I highly recommend if you enjoy a fascinating story). As far as recommending this game, I'll say this, if you don't own a PS4 and you're an Xbox Elitest, this game alone is worth the upgrade to the better console ;)

Ok, I have to say as the summary states, the start of this game is very slow. I was almost ready to remove the disk and put it up, because the first 30 minutes or so was literally cut scenes and extremely basic game play. But after you get started in the game it gets much better. Even the quests and some of the cut scenes are very good. The game detail of the graphics is almost amazing quality. I have almost 15 hours of game play already and haven't even scratched the surface of game play. I am sure if all you did was the main story line or quests, you could be done. But what is the point in that? I like making the game more life like and fun and it is. Since I did by the Collectors edition I should mention the statue that came with the game is amazing looking, sure it isn't some high dollar piece, but it looks it. Great color and almost lifelike.

Guerilla Gamed, makers of the acclaimed Killzone series, go in a whole new direction with Horizon Zero Dawn. Combining all the RPG nuances from games like The Witcher and Dragon Age, and melding them with a combay system that is superior to all others in the genre, this is game worth purchasing a PS4 to play it. Looks especially beautiful on the PS4 Pro in 4k.

Great story, jaw dropping environments, and fantastic gameplay! This PS4 game is one that you can't miss. This collectors edition has one of the most detailed statue that I ever bought. If you buy this you won't regret this.

The game is amazing Loved every bit of this game and the in-game content that the collectors edition came with. The statue is incredible with the serial and size of it just being perfect. It also came with a little art book to look through and metal case for the game. By far one of the best collector sets I've gotten.

The game itself has been reviewed countless times on sites like Metacritic. We can agree: it is great. The collector's edition itself comes with a great statue, steelbook, and artbook. I actually think it is a bit light on extras... However, I managed to use Gamer's Club Unlocked for 20% off, and Visa Signature for $25 off. Thus, I didn't feel slighted at all. After those discounts, the collector's edition falls to a more than acceptable price point. As it stands at full price, with no discounts, I can not give my recommendation for purchase. However, the game is great... It is too bad that those who really enjoy it can't go back and buy all the collector's items seperately.
