Horizon Zero Dawn is the sole reason I purchased a PS4 pro. It looks amazing and has an amazing story. You play as Aloy, an outcast from birth trying to fit in with the tribe and figure out who you are and where you came from. The massive open world will have you hunting relics and stories from the old ones while making sure that you yourself are not being hunted.

Horizon Zero Dawn looks interesting because you track down and fight robot dinosaurs, but there's actually a fascinating backstory to uncover with something of a mystery to unravel as well. The gameplay is fairly standard open world stuff, being able to get horse like mounts to ride through the area, going from settlement to settlement to pick up quests and setting out to do them. Finding materials from enemies for crafting or to sell and purchase items instead, but for being standard, it also falls into a "isn't broke, don't fix it" category as well. The game is beautifully crafted with great visuals and fantastic graphics as well. Set in a far future version of a post-apocalypstic Earth where humanity has collapsed and rebuilt itself more tribalistic than technologically based, you play as Aloy, a young girl outcast by her tribe and raised by an outcast surrogate father. Eventually she undertakes a trial to gain the right to get answers of her past, which sets her on a path to find out why machines are becoming more aggressive and what danger is threatening the world. I don't want to say too much about the plot as unraveling the story was one of the most interesting parts of the game.

The first time you enter this world you are taken back. The game is absolutely stunning. I'm playing this on a launch PS4 and 1080P TV. The game runs amazingly well, with very few to little slow down. I went with the collectors edition and I'm glad I did. I love the statue and detail as well as the steel book it shipped with. Can't recommend enough.

This game is a masterpiece and a must play. I have a ps4 pro with a 4k lg tv and this is by far the best looking game I've ever seen. Uncharted 4 has the best looking character faces and facial animations I've seen but this is overall the best game graphically I've ever seen. Not only does it look good but the gameplay is amazing, there's very little loading time or gameplay lag and the robot dinosaur animations are flawless. The game does start slow but once you get passed the 1st 2 hours it quickly peaks, based on how long I've played I'm assuming this game may be somewhere around 30 - 45 hours long. I haven't finished the game yet but I've seen every robotic creature in the game so far except 1 and they're all done great, the best being the thunderjaw, stormhawk, and rockbreaker. There are a few things about the game that can be improved and I'm sure they will be in the sequel but they are very minor. Ps4 has already been superior the Xbox in many ways including exclusives but this game just took it to another level. I know nintendo fans are sensitive but although zelda does some minor things better than horizon, this game is without a doubt the number 1 must have game right now. This game gets a 9.7 out of 10 to me.

Awesome graphics, great story, cool statue, pretty steelbook

I preordered this game and got the collectors edition because the statue is awesome. The game is the best open world game I have probably ever played and looks absolutely amazing on the ps4 pro on my 4k tv. I have put many hours into this game already and havent even scratched the surface because this game is so huge and so fun to explore

Definitely a great addition to the PlayStation. Great story with tons of side quests and stuff to do. Every time I play it, it is very hard to stop. I keep telling myself I'll stop after I finish this quest, but then I can do another one and another. Graphics and gameplay are smooth and clean. Far cry meets tomb raider and had a baby.

Great game. One the best I've played a while. Big, beautiful open world. Smooth mechanics. Great story and voice acting. Even if you don't get the collector's edition should get the game. The statue that comes with this edition is pretty cool and well made. The artwork booklet smaller than I thought it was going to be but still cool.

I had been eye-ing this game since original E3 reveal a couple years ago but had reservations. Whenever a game gets too hyped up it always seems to fall short of the communities expectations. I decided to pick it up launch day (the standard copy) and I have not been disappointed. The game is Amazingly done, the guys at guerrilla and sony really took their time and got this right. Only a few super minor complaints if I absolutely had to regarding small little game play quirks, but nothing to sway me from giving this 5/5 stars or a 9.8-9.9/10. The world is expansive and has so much depth, so many different styles you can play, the story does an excellent job at grabbing you in. I've seen many comparisons to the witcher, and I would say to an extent they're appropriate. I cannot recumbent a game out right now more than this one! I say this because I got the standard edition originally (my store didn't have collector's in stock) and I found the last collectors around me and picked that up because I like the game THAT much. I'm not even a big collector's edition guy but for me this game was totally worth it.

This is a well put together Collector's Edition. The Statue is pretty high on the detail and quality. DLC was great and added value to the playability of the game. The game itself is very fun and you can pick the way you way to play either stealth or action (there maybe more ways but I've got that far yet).

I am normally not into rpg like games but the story in this game is fantastic so far. The game world is beautiful and the characters are solid. I am glad I was able to get the last collector's edition available at my local Best Buy. The DLC is good and the statue is solidly built and it is very detailed.

One of the most fun games I've played this year. While not doing too much new in terms of gameplay I feel like the mechanics of the are really great. Buying new weapons and trying to find different ways to take down each encounter is a lot of fun and very rewarding when everything goes according to plan. This collectors edition comes with the metal tin case, some dlc for the game, an art book and figure of Aloy over one of the creatures in the game. The DLC is for items in the game, and while some of them look really cool they aren't really things you'll be using too long. The art book is standard, in that it features concept art of characters and the setting. The figurine is really nice and is very detailed. It also feel very solid, and is not something that could easily break. Overall, this is a really good game and this collectors edition is worth it if you're into collectibles.

In my opinion this will probably win game of the year so even if it cost this much just for the game it would be worth it. All the bonus material in the CE is awesome but what really shines is the statue. There is great detail and the statue looks great displayed.

This game was hyped in the months before its release and to be honest I was a little worried it was gonna be average. However I'm happy to say I was wrong, the combat, the world, the story, all of it is rich and detailed, and just sucks you in from the get go.

This game is awesome and one of the most beautiful games I seen in a while. Not only is it beautiful to look at but the story of the main character Aloy is great as while as the gameplay. The world is huge and fun to explore. I highly recommend this game.

I was just absolutely blown away with the game and how wonderful it looks. In regards to the collector's edition the DLC was not much to write home about but the Aloy statue is very well detailed for how much the collector's edition cost.

Loving this game so far, right off the bat there are some great story elements with alot of mystery to keep u playing more and more..I can't wait to see how this ends but I can easily see myself replaying this alot. It's a masterpiece

First of all, let me start by saying that bestbuy is the best when it comes to prices. They are the only store I know of that I can walk in and get 20% of new games. Gamestop is dead to me! Moving on...the staue is great, looks impressive next to the rest of my collector items. Great detail and with a great quality build. The game of course is amazing. I love how difficult the missions can get but you just love replaying them. Graphics 10 gameplay 9 replay vaule 9 and content 10! There is a lot to do in this game and it will keep you busy for months. Ive been playing for a while now but im one of those who loves to do side missions to rank up and get upgrades before doing the main missions. Highly recommended game got this for $95 thanks to best buys 20% off. Buy it, you will not regret it.
