I actually purchased the PS4 just for this game. the minute I started playing it I was hooked. Graphics amazing, game play amazing, and the control set was even better. if your a fan of open world and I mean true open world this is for you. combat is easy with the control set up which lets you transition from weapon to weapon in the middle of combat without dieing. tons of quest and always something to do.

This game was phenomenal. The graphics and world looked amazing and the story was actually great as well. I had heard poor things about the story but it actually hooked me in. Best thing by far about this game is taking down the machines. Each type of machine has different vulnerabilities and attacks. Makes for a mad house when encountering multiple big machines at a time. Must buy for PS4 owners.

Amazing open world game and wonderful combat. Excellent game if you're a ps4 owner and don't have a switch for Zelda, this has a lot better graphics too!

Awesome graphic and good story line. Control is very good as well. No issues with this game thus far. If you like a shooter game, this is a good choice.

This is my favorite of the games I've played this year. Great characters, great story, challenging without being frustrating, interesting missions (even side missions), great combat mechanics, great weapons. Really feels like they have taken the best pieces of several games and combined them to make an awesome game. The closest game to it is Witcher 3, but I find this game to be a little more engaging and less intimidating (it's a HUGE world and you can get easily lost keeping track of all of the side missions). If this game doesn't get GOTY, it'll be a crime.

There’s something about being dropped into a brand new game world and finding it to be dense with deeply considered lore, terrifyingly aggressive creatures, and tantalizing questions that leaves an indelible mark on the memory. Horizon Zero Dawn is one of those games, and it carves out a unique identity within the popular action-roleplaying genre. Coupled with wonderfully flexible combat and a story that touches on unexpectedly profound themes, I found it hard to tear myself away from Horizon even after I’d finished its main campaign some 40 odd hours later.

One of the best games I have played in a long time, gorgeous graphics, really good controls, and a great storyline with a nice variety of sidequests.

This is a gorgeous game with a very unique premise and setting. The story is fantastic, and it is extremely cool to be able to explore the ruins of a past civilization. The combat is very stealth focused and the melee attacks are slow and clunky, which hurt it a little, but overall this is a great first game in a new franchise.

I've a library of over 25 PS4 games and this one is by far my favorite game. Graphics = 10/10. Storyline 10/10. Intuitiveness of controls 10/10.

This game has a lot going on in terms of story line, action, puzzle, stealth and rewards/achievements you can get through the gameplay. Game is well designed, the graphics is one of the best i have seen almost as close as a pc game with high end graphics card. The story is very interesting and well scripted, also if you look at the world the landscape looks so detail and looks real. the Ai is smart and it can be sometimes difficult but not to hard that you can still enjoy the game. I highly recommend this game for sure and add to my collection.

This is a great, massive open-world game with lots of missions and sub-missions to keep you preoccupied with fun and excitement for weeks, even if you are a teenager with no real responsibilities! Seriously! But don't be fooled; even at average-difficulty gameplay setting, this game is challenging... You can't just walk into the vast land thinking you can shoot your way to victory! You have to work for it. In order to be able to destroy the more powerful machines, you need to keep upgrading your bows and arrows with purple-colored weapons being the most powerful (green, blue, purple). In order to upgrade to more powerful weapons, you'd need to gather more metal shards, which means you'll need to perform more side-missions and kill more grazers, striders, broadheads, lancehorns, and scrappers, just to name a few. Also, don't forget to upgrade your skills; as you gain more XPs you'll score more skill-points, which in turn will allow you to upgrade your skills from the Skills submenu. The more skills you have, the easier it'll become to get out of tight situations. For example, with the Silent Kill (R1) you can dispatch a machine without firing a shot (R1 does not work on all machines...). If you are a fan of Far Cry 3 & 4, you'll enjoy this one...

I haven't had enough time yet to beat the game. But the controls feel great, story is excellent, and it is just so beautiful to look at.

About 12 hours into the single-player campaign (aka the only content of this game), I am still very interested in the developing story and skills development of the my character, Aloy. The scenery and graphic are beautiful, especially with HDR on a 4k HRD HDTV. The storytelling is great, especially in the opening sequences and first few hours of gameplay. Overall, I am really enjoying this nice change of pace game which offers a great single player story-driven campaign with lots of progression and other goodies.

One of the best open world games I have ever played. This game has set the standard. Great story, plenty of side quest and lots of action and by the way it looks phenomenal in 4k. some of the dialogue scenes can seem lengthy but you have to watch them to understand the plot. Guerilla games got an all time winner here. 10 out of 10 in my book

It's a beautiful game, fluid movement, fun combat, and a good story. If you own a PlayStation you should be playing Horizon.

Probably on of the top 5 games of the year. Thoroughly engaging and immersive. Great graphics, great story, easy controls.

This is the first game I played on my Ps4 Pro, and it is beautiful. Sporting some of the nicest visuals I've seen in a game, this title is just absolutely gorgeous. The colors pop, especially with HDR on, and it leaves you with a feeling of true open exploration in a very dangerous world. An incredibly deep and sizeable story is a breath of fresh air in the heavily multiplayer world of gaming today. This is truly a title any PS4 owner should not miss, and could not recommend more.

This is one of the main reasons to own a PS4. Great showcase game, graphics, combat, and story are all excellent.

The game is visually stunning period! It's very time consuming as well. There are so many missions and side missions to play through. The game can feel a bit redundant at times. I even found myself comparing it to Assasins Creed a bit. The game is massive open world that goes on for days. There's a bunch of weapons and modifications to those weapons. I found myself a bit board running around a lot collecting items. The story is wonderful as well. If you're looking for a huge open world game with beautiful landscapes and a twist fighting monster size machines than this is for you. I think it's giving Zelda a run for its money.

Looks amazing and plays amazing, The story is very interesting and makes you want to progress to see what unfolds. The control of the character is top notch, you feel really connected to Aloy and she responds perfectly! A must have title! I own all of the newer consoles and this game is one of the reasons I own a PS4.
