Its very compact easy as pie to use only thing takes a minute to preheat. The safety feature is amazing but you can not use a bent out of shape bottom of a pan on the burners. Safety feature will not work. Easy to clean if coil burns out just unplug and replace. Better then glass top

Its a stove. Still learning how to use the oven. Gets really hot use as the manual says and stay safe. Self installation and make sure you buy the correct power cord.

Burner don’t stay hot enough to properly fry anything. Hindsight I should have returned this junk. Oven works fine but overall will never buy another Hotpoint again!

Hello- We are very sorry to hear you aren't happy with your new range. We can understand how upsetting it is when a new appliance doesn't meet your expectations. Starting in 2018, UL (Underwriter's Laboratory) regulations require all electric coil top ranges to have temperature limiting capabilities to reduce the risk of cooktop oil and grease fires. As a result, our electric coil burners now use Sensi-Temp Technology. Each burner with this technology has a silver medallion with a button (sensor) in the center of the coil. This button must make contact with the bottom of the cookware for the Sensi-Temp Technology to sense the temperature properly. When the sensor detects a pan temperature near the limit (450 degrees F), the burner will shut off automatically until a lower, safe pan temperature is reached. At that point, the burner will resume heating. This will not affect everyday cooking as the automatic shut-off is temporary and only happens at a very high temperature. Please note that stovetop cooking is an attended function. The Sensi-temp technology is NOT intended to automatically shut-off the burner. When a Sensi-Temp burner has been turned on, it will continue to heat even after a pan has been removed, and until the knob have been set to the OFF position. Note: It is best to use a flat bottom pan or even cast iron. We have found that the heavier the pan the better the burner works. We hope the more you use your burners the more you will like them. Everything went just as ordered and promised. Family is happy with our new range and how well it works for us. Our first range was back-ordered, but customer service stepped up and found me a range that fit our needs and budget. Nicky was great to work with, very professional. Delivered as promised, right on time and professionally done. Geek squad installers were very courteous and helpful with all questions I had.

Great buy! Works great. I like how to can adjust the temperature on the oven to hotter or cooler if you feel the setting is incorrect. But I have not had to do that.
