I am extremely disappointed. My order has been delayed and it's a gift for my son's birthday! His party is tomorrow and now no guide gift. I was reassured several times that my order would be on time. My son is going to be so disappointed!

I bought thiz for my granddaughter for her birthday and she absolutely loves it. The speakers are louder than i expected. The tunnel lights on the wheels are mesmerizing lol.... thank you so much for making a little girls day

Fine with the product but was told to come to the store only to find they didn’t have it. Waited 2 weeks for it to finally arrive past scheduled delivery date

This was a Christmas gift & my daughter was so excited! It worked great for about 2 days... was probably ridden a total of 1/2 a mile. Now the lights are messed up (some won’t come on, others won’t turn off) and it won’t keep a charge. I submitted a ticket with the manufacturer but so far haven’t heard anything back. If I don’t, I’ll be reaching out to Best Buy... someone needs to make this right. It was great while it worked, maybe I just got a lemon.

Absolute piece of garbage. It had battery issues from the start with very very low power output making it so I couldn't even go up a hill with a 5% or 10% slope. Though okay maybe I just have to break it in and it will work better. Nope wrong. Just got even worse and worse. Now it shakes like crazy every time I step foot on it. Power has just gotten even worse. I would have rather lost $250 in five minutes at a casino than what I've gone through dealing with this piece of junk. Don't buy! Heads up warning to all!

I spent $260 on this product. It's cold so my daughter only used it a few times. I would say a total of 3 hours on and off. The charger stop working. I would charge it for 3 straight hours and let her get on only to find out the beeping would start after the use of 15mins. This has been going on for 5 days. I haven't called it in yet but since best buy set me a review request I thought to vent.

We have gone through 2 of these already. The hover board just keeps blinking and one wheel shuts down. I would not recommend this product.

I will be the first to admit that I stayed away from the idea of a hoverboard due to the initial reports of fires that happened when the first wave popularity came around but I decided this might be a great time to give this a try. I didn't think I would be overly impressed by it and it would be something that only my kids would truly enjoy. I was so wrong! Despite all of the falling (and boy, did I fall lol) I had a lot of fun on this. Definitely takes some getting used to when you're trying this for the first time but once you get the hang of balancing and the subtle movements to help control it then its a blast. The lights are perfect....especially if you plan to use this at night (the lights are fun when using at night in a safe place of course) and the speaker is a definite perk. Something I thought was unnecessary ended up being one of the greatest features to this hoverboard. The app is also a great addition to be able to keep an eye on the battery level as well as control the lights. The battery seems to be pretty good...we were able to enjoy a lot of play time and still have a lot of battery life left when it was time to head home. I'm pretty sure my mother and I spent more time having fun on this than my kids did lol.

After 3 months, one of the wheels stopped turning.

Will not charge after 3.5 months. Only rode a handful of times only indoors and after research looks like motherboard needs replacement. Expensive for short life.

The app that comes with this Scooter is awesome. You can connect your phone and music to the scooter itself. The music coming from the board is pretty cool. The lights are awesome as well on this board. Makes it look like something from the future with its purple and green hues. You can change the colors as you wish to your favorite colors. It takes a little getting used to for figuring out how to ride it. I would recommend watching some online videos. Also make sure you are using safety pads and helmet as you will want to take this out on the street. I will need more practice before I take it out to far away from the soft lawn/grass areas. Build quality and feel is very impressive. I would definitely recommend this highly. Great family device and fun for everyone. Not intended for toddlers and I would encourage to try this out in the yard with another person assisting.

Doesnt turn off. It just beeps and doesnt turn off. The power button doesnt work

Within about a month if use one wheel started making a grinding sound that won’t go away. Tried recalibrating based on the instructions to no avail.

This hoverboard’s big claim to fame is the lights, and it sure has plenty. They are everywhere including the wheels, making the Astro a rolling light show. Otherwise, it’s a pretty typical board in the mid to upper price range. It seems solid and well built, and it weighs close to twenty pounds. Everything you see and touch is plastic, but it takes a sizeable battery to go the six-mile distance it’s rated between charges. The lights are controlled by a phone app allowing you to pick colors and a variety of flashing patterns. However, I found the app to be a real weakness. It was finicky to pair, and I found it hit and miss when controlling and changing the light show. Yes, it also adjusts some other functions and shows your speed … assuming you want to be fiddling with your phone while riding. Here comes the disclaimer. There’s a reason that the first page in the manual starts with the warning that “HELMETS SAVE LIVES”. It’s not made to use off-road on soft ground. It’s intended for smooth, hard surfaces, and some falls are pretty much inevitable while learning. I also suggest that wearing knee and elbow pads is a really good idea. Don’t ask me how I came to this conclusion. The bottom line is that most young people will love this thing. It’s flashy, literally. They’ll catch on quickly and have fun. Plus, they bounce better. Just be aware that there are precautions to take. I would have rated it four stars except for the app problems. Why pay extra for fancy lights if you can't control them.
