This bike is fun to ride and easy to assemble the few parts that needed to be added. The assembly took me less than 30 minutes after I removed the carefully packaged plastic and cardboard. I added air to both tires , reviewed the manual and eagerly headed out for my first ride. The ride is smooth and quiet.

At first glance, this electric bike looks like a motorcycle, when you see the size, the design and the sturdy tires, you might get confused. Since I was very young I always liked to ride a bike, go out to the park with my friends or take a cool evening ride, now as an adult I consider it a habit that is important to keep. Normally a bike does not offer us more features than the already known ones, but when we talk about an electric bike there are some extra things that, in my opinion, are very useful and improve the experience of riding a bike. The bike comes in a relatively large box, which is normal since it comes 85% assembled, you only need to install the handlebars, mirrors, reflectors, pedals, battery, some carrying bags and complementary accessories. It comes with a small but very useful tool kit to assemble the missing parts, you don't need any other tool than the one included to complete the assembly. It comes with a quick start guide and owner's manual, pretty useful. Initially you have to recharge the battery to 100% and inflate the tires to start using it. It has an app, Hover-1E-Mobility, which allows you to connect the bike via bluetooth, where you can configure some functions such as speed mode, pedal assist level, cruise control, etc. as well keep track of the distance traveled on the last trip, you can see the battery percentage to charge it when necessary. I consider that using the app is a plus that helps a lot. As I mentioned at the beginning, the bike has a design similar to a motorcycle but despite this it is not possible to exceed the speed of 28 mph (by law), you can travel a distance of up to 55 miles but, in practice by combining regular pedaling with pedal assist, you can travel more distance. It has a very bright front light and directional lights, this makes the bike look more pro xd. Despite being an electric bike and having enough power and a very good battery, it can also be used without the battery, let's say like a regular bike. There are days when you just want to ride and pedal, other times you just want to ride the road at a good speed without so much effort. Regarding performance, this bike has an incredible motor, each level of pedal assist feels different, the higher you go the harder the bike pushes, I recommend being cautious when turning or getting out of small spaces because if you have the pedal assist system on, with minimal pedaling, the bike pushes a little hard and you could lose control, I think these details get better as you get used to it. The seat is a good size and comfortable, it really is very comfortable to ride this bike. In summary, I can say that this bike is designed for almost any adult person, whether for exercise, going to school or work, or simply for the pleasure of riding a bike. It has a very useful and easy to connect app, and it allows you to keep a record of the rides distance. It has a great design, tires, shocks and brakes that work perfectly, front light and turn signals. The battery lasts a long time, but depending on use it can last even longer. In my experience riding this bike is a delight, it feels very comfortable and looks amazing, it is worth every penny and I can definitely recommend it.

So, it’s just like riding a bike, huh? I’ve ridden bikes, motorcycles, and driven hybrid vehicles. It’s a bit of all three if you ask me. The pedaling of a bike, the feel of riding a motorcycle, and the torque of an electric motor. That said, here’s my entry into e-bikes. The box came and it’s pretty big. I slid it into the garage and proceeded to unbox it. If memory serves me right, there are eight plastic clips on the bottom of the box, and I just squeezed the tabs to remove each one. I slid the box off the base, revealing a very well-protected e-bike. All the painted surfaces were wrapped in foam and tape. I removed the foam as needed, keeping the other areas wrapped to prevent accidental scratches. The e-bike was almost fully assembled. All I needed to do was install the handlebars which were just folded down. The parts were clearly bagged and very easy to assemble. The handlebars had the instrument cluster, brakes, grips, and cables all connected and ready to go. Other items that needed to be installed were the mirrors, pedals, side bags, tank/phone bag, and lower front bag above the battery. The battery had almost a full charge and only needed to be on charge while I assembled the bike. I checked the tire pressure, but the tires were fully inflated and didn’t need any air. The last part of the assembly was the bike lock. It needed a combination created to change it from 0000. The instructions clearly demonstrated how to accomplish this. Finally, the only extra piece I had from the installation was a double zip tie, which looks just like the one on the lock, so I’m guessing it’s a spare. I was able to do all of this while the bike stayed in the base of the box. I only had to slide it around so I could sit on either side to continue the assembly. The e-bike is assembled and both my recycle and refuse bins are half full of foam and cut-up cardboard. I give everything a second look and lube the chain. Then I do what most men do and get on the bike and proceed to ride it. Instructions?? I had enough reading to get it ready to ride, lol. I figured out the power button, hit the horn by accident and almost fell off the bike, that thing is loud. I play with the lights and blinkers and head out into my cul-de-sac. Like I said at the beginning. It’s kind of like riding a bike, but even at setting one or two, you twist that throttle, and it instantly takes off. There’s no lag and it is up and running. I like setting one with the pedal assist. I have to actually pedal a half-turn or so to get it engaged. Setting two wasn’t bad, except for the one time I accidentally hit the throttle and I almost ate it. To be honest, I haven’t even tried levels three through five. Two was good enough for me and my flat roads. Also, my local streets are thirty years old and haven’t seen any repairs since. They are rough with many large cracks from gutter to gutter. After my first outing, I stopped and read the manual. Hey, this bike has gears! Off I went to test those out. Yeah, they made a difference, and I can see where they will come in handy while riding. Back to the book and I see I can download an Android app for the bike. I do so and there isn’t much to it, but it did allow me to change the speedometer from k/mh to mph, woohoo. After further reading, I see I can adjust the fork suspension from a soft to a stiff ride. I’ve kept it in the default spot, but if my streets were in better condition, I’d probably adjust them to a softer ride. What’s left? Well, I really like the construction of this bike. It seems very sturdy and well-built. The added accessories seem very useful. I like that there’s a visible pocket for my smartphone. The large tires help me balance the bike. The mirrors are somewhat useful, as good as one would expect. What I don’t like is the lack of a front fender. Also, the bike isn’t very visible in black. The lights are very bright, but most of my riding will be during the day, so I’ve added neon spoke covers as well as a number of reflective stripes on the bike. It would be great if Hover offered some reflective stickers to replace the ones on the battery and frame. For me, the seat is rather narrow and long. It’s also not very soft on this old man’s rear and could I ask, why tan when nothing else on this black bike is in the brown tones?? Finally, the bike is rather heavy, and hauling it will probably require a truck or trailer. It doesn’t fold like some other brands, so stowing it in a trunk or hatchback won’t really be an option. That said, I think it’s a great bike, well built and if it fits a rider’s needs, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Amazing e-bike from build quality to performance. First experience with an e-bike even though I have e-scooters but this e-bike provides such an enjoyable riding experience. Everything from unboxing to assembling it entirely took me around 90 minutes. The unboxing process was a bit long due to the well-thought-out packaging. The inside parts are well-packaged to protect them from being damaged during shipping. Consequently, it took me longer to remove the packaging materials and prepare a spacious area to being the assembly process. The e-bike came pre-assembled and all I needed to do is to charge the removable battery, attach the handlebar, screw the peddles and mirrors, and reflectors. Also, attach the storage bags and the small smartphone case in the center. The gearing and braking components are manufactured by Shimano that is a well-known company for its reliable and well-made parts. All the bolts, assembly components, and tools are included in the box. However, I used my tools just to speed up the assembly process. After completing the assembly and the e-bike became ready. I inflated the tires (Pneumatic) as they needed air (20-30 PSI) per the manual instruction. out of the box, my tires were at 10 PSI. I checked all the screws, bolts, velcros, lights, and brakes and oiled the chain. I simply followed the instruction manual and made sure to follow the safety tips. The overall look of the e-bike is attractive. It is like a motorcycle transformed into an e-bike. Build quality is phenomenal and controls are super easy to use, my hands programmed to use its controls from my first ride. Safety features such as the horn and turn signals are great and loud even when driving in a really busy noisy street. The seat feels comfortable and I could sit on it for more than an hour. Brakes are powerful and respond promptly. The suspension system is adjustable for more comfortable rides depending on the type of road. I adjusted it the way I felt more comfortable riding on a paved street with some bumps. Even on rough roads, the comfort was existing. The pedal assist modes are enjoyable, the 5 different modes provide a unique riding experience. I liked mode 3 the most. The info screen is bright and provides information about battery life, trip distance, and odometer. The Hover 1E-Mobility app on smartphones is intuitive and has a good and simple UI. Pairing is straightforward. It provides quick settings like those manual control you can do on the bike itself but it is quicker over the app. In addition to showing the map and unlocking the top speed to 28 mph different than the default 20 mph out of the box. The throttle with pedal assist works seamlessly and gives instant speed. The company included everything in the box even the anti-theft lock that comes in handy when going around and wanting to stop by for shopping. Headlight has three modes: halo, high and low beam. The tail light is neat and less light up sequentially and is visible to other drivers. The battery is designed to be charged onboard as well as detached using the included key. I like this freedom of charging and very convenient as I started removing the battery and taking it with me to the office and charging it until I get off work. My overall thought and experience. From quality, assembly, riding, and safety features I can say it is great and would give it 10 star if I could. I have no issue so far and I feel this will last forever if keep well-maintained. I couldn't be happier with the fantastic and smooth ride experience.

For context, I have zero experience with e-bikes, but I have read tech gadgets and reviews before using this product. I was very intimidated when I was reviewing this product. I have zero experience, and I was told I will need to assemble this large product.... SURPRISE! It's easy to assemble! For anyone even THINKING of wanting an e-bike, don't let that FIRST step hold you back! I was intimidated for days, weeks! I think unpacking the whole thing properly and safely took LONGER than assembling the product lol. The product comes mostly assembled, the main bike itself just needs the handlebar, the battery, pedals to attach on, which just requires a few screws. Total unpacking time : 40 minutes, total assembly time : 35 minutes with help from my wife. After the first intimidating step, I ran through each part of the bike to ensure it's safe; double checking screws, double checking the seat, pumping air into the tires, adjusting the handle, the mirror, etc. Paired the bike with my phone, charged the bike overnight, and prepared to ride it the day after. I really wanted some time with the bike to write a good review, coming from a newbie. I took the bike in a cul-de-sac, probably too small, then to the park, then to the street, then a small ride around the city. SO FUN! The bike felt like solid well built bike, without any assist on. Very snappy. The ride is very smooth, I'm not an expert in analyzing the hydralucis or suspensions, but I was very comfortable riding the bike. Felt it was as smooth as a bike can be on different terrain, grass, pavement, dirt that I took it through. I was worried the mirrors would fog up or be difficult to see , but I felt very safe and everything was clearly visible. At dusk and at night, the light of the bike is VERY bright, which is great because I really gives you visibility, but it's so bright I felt I needed to be conscience of other people so the light won't shine in their face/pedestrians. Again, feeling so safe, that I had to actually be concerned of others. Now playing with the speeds, the cruise control was a game changer for me. I never knew such a product existed. I was able to ride around the city, stop to run some errands, with ease. Gear/speed shifting was very easy, the throttle felt intuitive and smooth. A quick glance on the dash let's you see everything going on. Everything is clearly explained in the manual, but also felt very intuitive in the app. Also the website, youtube videos, etc alot of resources online as well, made this product feel very friendly. I did my research and just did max trips of 20 miles, I never really pushed more than that, but I always had battery left over on my way back. I think your mileage will very depending how much assist you want. I am not an amateur or a pro by any means, so I did not take this bike off roading or other terrains, but the bike feels very heavy, and unlikely suitable for such tasks? The bike comes with a nice key and lock, but I did not try to break the security or copy the key in any way, someone else will have to test that. Overall , WOW. I didn't think I need this product in my life, but now that I have it, I can't live without it. I run errands that are 5-10 miles away frequently, so this was perfect. The two saddle bags in the back were a little tight to install but I realized I needed it as it just creates this perfect little courier vehicle. I was a complete foreigner to e-bikes, I am so glad this product was so easy to assemble, and so easy to use. My only recommendations is if you're an old timer like me, my 45 year old brain felt the max speed was truly, 28mph, it felt FAST and I couldn't steer/react as well as I thought I could. It definitely works as advertised, solid product, felt quality grade, excellent.

The Altai Pro R750 e-bike has a lot going for it. It's very easy to assemble out of the box and only took me about 15 minutes total with help from the instruction manual. I checked the tire pressure and inflated them to 27 psi and went off on my first ride. I first rode the bike like a regular bicycle and it is very heavy so I did have to put a good amount of effort into pedaling. Luckily it's a 7 speed bike so I changed the gears to find a comfortable position to pedal. The ride felt smooth and the huge 20" fat tires with amazing adjustable suspension make every bump or crack feel nearly invisible. I then downloaded the app and connected it to the bike to review the features it had. I activated the pedal to start function so that I didn't accidentally engage the throttle and turned on the cruise control. I went off and started at pedal assist 1 and went to 5 which is the top speed which reached 28 mph. I was amazed at how quick the bike was and how powerful it was even going up hill. Stopping also felt smooth and the brakes functioned as they should. The mirrors are an added bonus for riding on the street since you can see cars coming up behind you. I also found the horn very useful and incredibly loud to get the attention of cars backing out of the driveway. The huge led light at the front is incredibly bright and has 2 modes which is standard and high beam. The bike also comes with a few other accessories like a bike lock, saddle bags, and a rack for added storage capabilities. The battery is removable and can also be locked with the included key for added security. Overall, I've had a ton of fun with this bike. It looks amazing, rides smoothly, has a long lasting battery, and is fast. I get a lot of compliments on it from family members, friends, and strangers. With proper care and maintenance, I'm hoping this bike has a really long life span for me to enjoy.

The Altai Pro R750 is an awesome electric bike. It can go up to 55 miles on a fully charged battery. It has a max speed of 28 mph but for some reason it is not constant. It will slow down to around 24 mph. It is still fast though. The bike itself is nicely packed with lots of foam and carboard protecting it during shipping. It took me at least 30 minutes to get the box open, removed the bike out of the box, removed the foam and cardboard, and separate out the parts. The bike is mostly assembled. You need to attach the handlebars, pedals, side mirrors, reflectors, accessory bags, and battery. Assembly is not all bad. I had problems figuring out how to attach the side saddle bags. I will spend more time figuring it out later, but it is great that it came with so many storage bags. The battery is 960 Wh. It is big and heavy. It comes with a key so you can lock the battery in place. I do not believe the battery is fully charged and it took at least two hours (I stopped monitoring after this time) before the battery indicator turned from red to green. This bike is heavy. I have one of those smaller electronic bikes, but this is a whole different riding experience. It is more fun and awesome. The ride quality is better, and the fork suspension can be adjusted. I would highly suggest not setting it to the fastest speed. Start at lower speeds and work your way up. The mph may sound/seem slow compared to driving a car, but it feels different on two wheels and no doors. It feels a whole lot quicker. It can throw you off. Overall, this is an incredibly fun bike to ride. I have not ridden it to its maximum range. So far, I have ridden it 10 miles and the battery is still going strong.

Hover-1’s newest Pro Series electric bike named the Altai Pro R750, In my opinion is a powerhouse of a bike, made to look like a motorcycle, this bike has a top speed of 28MPH and a total range of 55 Miles, both very good numbers. An excellent commuter bike, to head to work or school, or a big kids toy to cruise around in for fun. Upon delivery, The bike came in a pretty large box, once I opened the box I found that it came packaged very well, everything was protected and or wrapped. Some assembly is required, but I found that process wasn’t too bad, I just had to install the handlebars, the pedals, and a couple of other minor things. 1st thing you should do is check the air pressure of each tire, my bikes tires were pretty low on air, I would also fully charge the battery before your first ride. Everything about this ebike is really nice, the seat is really comfortable, the center screen is big, bright, and it works well. Besides the bike, included in the box is the battery, the battery charger, a bike lock as a nice bonus. Comes with dual hydraulic brakes (stops fast) front and rear turn signals, 3.5 inch display, LED headlight and tail light, saddle bags for storage, this bike has it all Once you’re ready to hit the road, writing, this thing is really simple, you can pedal the bike on its own, but of course, the fun part is using the electric power to get you where you need to go quickly and with not too much effort. Obviously, this bike resembles a motorcycle, it’s on the heavy side of things, so moving this thing up and downstairs is not pract. Definitely recommend it to anybody reading my review.

Ive been using it daily for my commute to work and it rides like a dream. I keep it in level 3 going to work and 4 on the way home. Level 5 works great for powering though intersections to get out of there quickly then back down to 3 or 4. Charge time isnt bad at all. I can plug it in before I go to bed and by the time I wake up, it's good to go

I recently purchased the Hover-1 Altai r750 electric scooter, and I'm so glad; it's fast and feels like a real solid ride. I weigh 230lbs and it pushes me back off the line when I hit full throttle, especially when I'm off-road. I did! It's a great way to get around town and is perfect for any trip less than 55 miles round-trip, such as trips around my college campus. The built-in headlight and taillights are also a great addition and keep me safe on the road at night.

    Super nice Bike....

This is an awesome bike..... I have been debating on taking the plunge to get one to be able to commute between home and work when the weather gets warmer and this fits the want. Let's talk about setup... The 750 is HEAVY... It came to me on a pallet and in a bike box. So you will need to account for the size and weight.. Unpacking was super easy. A lot of foam. Hardest assembly is the handle bar. Second hardest were the saddle bags. No instructions to remove the spacers on the saddle bag that caused them to not attach to the metal bars. But I popped them out and they fit fine after that. You also have to move the upper retainer clips further out to attach properly. Battery was easy to attach. Mirrors easy to mount. Comes with phone bag and under bike bar bag. So lots of storage. Took about 4 hours to fully charge. I installed the Android Mobile app, signed in to my account and setup the display and I was done with the display. It is only through the app that you can change settings on the on board controls like for km/hr to mph. Last thing was to make sure I had correct air pressure in the tires and the forks and I was ready to ride. All together took about 45 minutes to put the entire bike together. So this is my warning to potential buyers who don't have good balance. You need to be careful with the bike. It requires a little more coordination. If you don't respect the equipment it will place you in harms way. Please wear a helmet and correct attire. So operating was super easy. There are different modes. Assist, cruise, etc. I prefer assist. This gives me a little more control. You have to be careful with how it engages. Or it will throw you off balance. You can use the throttle on the right hand too as you come up to speed instead of having to constantly pedal. 7 speed derailleur. Easy to shift. All right hand. Comes with lights including turn signals and brake lights and a super bright headlight and horn. All left hand. Pretty close to a motor bike. This thing flys.... Top speed is over 20 mph. This is close to a little moped. So you need to account for proper stopping distances. If not you may potentially seriously injure yourself. I have ridden motorcycles all my life and this bike gets you close to that level of skill needed if you maintain high speeds and mingle with vehicular traffic. Disc brakes are nice and grippy. Big tires are good for different potential terrain. I rode on street and it did fine. Overall build is nice and solid. All the wires and workmanship is nice and neat. Design is well though out. Also came with bike tool. Bike lock. Pretty much everything you need to get going. Seat is pretty comfy. Bike height is fine. I am 5'-5" and was able to be flat footed at a stop. Make sure you can reach the ground when you are at a stop. If not it will complicate your ride. Back to attire. Because there is no chain guard if you are going to use this to commute and wear long pants make sure you protect your pant leg from getting caught in the front pedal gear. Out of everything I could only ding the bike on 2 things. 1. I am being picky because I road bike a lot so here it is. The pedal distance to seat height is a bit awkward. It is too close for my liking. 2. It is heavy and a bit big. So if you live upstairs or have a small place you need to account for this. If you don't you will have issues storing and getting it in your place. Of you don't have the physical capability to maneuver this bike in close quarters you might be biting off more than you can chew. Also packed my wife on the bike. No recommended to do. Seat was not big enough and also the luggage rack is not very comfortable. It's possible.... But would only recommend for very short distances. Also stopping distance is substantially lengthed due to weight. So be careful for those of you who are thinking of doing this. Other than that. Awesome bike.!! Would recommend it for sure.

When I first turned the throttle and took off I had a moment. Like a flashback to when I was a kid some 40 years ago. My grandmother had a three wheeled bike that had an electric motor installed on to it. You had to get peddling up to several MPH before you could activate it, but once you did it was magical. I mean a kid in the 80s on a bike with an electric motor was so unbelievably awesome. It was one of those moments of awe and wonder that seem to be so easy to come by as a child. But now near 50 years old, I couldn’t remember the last time I felt that. That is until I turned the throttle. This bike is awesome. My Hover-1 Altai Pro R750 showed up several days ago. I quickly opened the box and unpacked everything. The instructions were solid and what assembly that was required was fairly easy. The bike came with a multi-tool that had everything you needed to put it together. Probably took me about an hour or so to unpack everything and get it assembled. I then plugged in the battery to get it fully charged for my first adventure the following day. The next day came and my bike was fully charged (took about 3-4 hours I believe) and I was excited to give it a try. I checked the air pressure, tested out all the lights, adjusted my side view mirrors and familiarized myself with the controls. Once I felt like I had everything down I put on my helmet and took it out for a test. It was at this point I first started to pedal and turned the throttle. It was truly a memorable experience. This was my first time on any modern E-bike. The motor is very powerful. I weigh about 230lbs and the quickness in the acceleration was much stronger than I was expecting. I absolutely love riding this thing. I will say there was a learning curve before I felt totally comfortable on it. I’ve never ridden any sort of two wheeled motor bike before. The power of it combined with the weight and the thicker tires all took some getting used to. Please to not ride this thing without safety gear if you are new to these. I mean you should always wear a helmet with this bike but especially when you are still learning to ride it properly. Its size, weight and power make it as much a motorcycle as a traditional bicycle. Overall I love this thing. There are many over aspects I appreciate. The seat is very comfortable. The battery is easily removable so you can bring it inside your home or work to charge it up when needed. It comes with a nice bike lock. There are multiple storage bags and a little rack on the back for transporting small loads. The display is well designed and very easy to read. The headlight is very bright and easily adjusted. The brakes are excellent as well, very responsive. Lastly, the overall aesthetic is gorgeous. I really have no complaints or issues with this amazing vehicle. Well other than that learning curve to get comfortable with it, but that was expected. If you are looking to get an e-bike it is hard to imagine anything much nicer than this one. I look forward to many years of enjoyment and I would absolutely recommend this to a friend.

Ok, this was my first experience with an e-bike, and I was admittedly a little nervous about it. First about the assembly, then actually riding it…I’m not exactly a cyclist or a biker and it’s been years since I rode a bike! In both cases, my fears were unnecessary. I was actually shocked out how easy assembly was… it was less work than the stationary bike I had to assemble a few years ago. I was incredibly relieved to find that the functional components (you know the breaks, cables, etc.) were already connected and ready to go out of the box. Had they not been, I may have felt the need to get assistance. But as I said, it was already done. The items that actually did need assembly were simple and straightforward. Although it’s been a while since I rode a regular bike, I still remember it well enough to know this is really not all that much like it. It is like riding a bike in the sense that a little bit of balance is required and it has pedals. But it also has a throttle and you know, it’s electric. This thing moves! The wider, tougher tires are a good feature because it helps with balance and I feel confident that I’ll be able to successfully ride the bike through rougher terrain. I haven’t actually tried that yet. I’m getting used to the settings and gears first, learning the bike as I go to find out suits me and the area I’m riding in the best. I can see this being an incredibly versatile option, you could potentially take it off road and have a great time but just as easily use it as a commute option (so long as there’s a bike lane). The one drawback though is it is quite heavy and doesn’t fold or break down in anyway to allow for easier transport or storage. That’s not enough to take away from the experience but it could be limiting in some situations. All of that being said though, holy crap did I have fun! I live off of a street that has a long stretch of road with new stop signs or traffic lights. I had a blast flying down that road while getting used to the bike. I felt like a kid again…except I never had anything like this when I was a kid!
