Let me start right out of the gate by saying that this device is a blast to use. It was meant to be something that my three sons would use, but I ended up enjoying myself. I have three sons, 9, 11, and 13, and I thought this would be something they would have a blast using around the house or out in the driveway/sidewalk. Within minutes my youngest two seemed to get a feel for it and were zipping around the house on it. Setup was a breeze; you just needed to charge up the scooter. There is an easy-to-see indicator light on the actual plug that shows when the scooter is fully charged. You can download an app to your phone, either Android or iOS. The box and manual have an easy-to-use QR code to get you to the correct app in your app store. Then it’s just a matter of launching it and pairing the scooter to your phone. The app lets you change the lights and effects and lets you check speed, distance traveled, and change the mode. There are quite a few safety recommendations in the manual, and you should read it before you try to use it. One of the things that it mentions in the manual, and I noticed after a few minutes of using it, is that it is far easier to use if you can just relax. Overthinking it will cause you to use jerky motions that could cause unwanted movements on the scooter. If you are able to just step onto it like you were walking up a step or curb, it is so much smoother and more manageable—the same thing for when you need to get off. Take a regular step back, and you should have no issues. This was such a fun device that my entire family was able to use. The app is nice and has some neat features. It’s very cool that you can play your music through the scooter and the lights change with the beat. Again, after the initial learning curve, this little scooter is a blast.

Quick Review ______________ HOVERBOARD is something you need to learn It's not something you can just step on and get going. With that said., My 10 year old was able to learn it within 30 minutes. It's has some. Self balancing going on which does not let him fall as soon as he step on it. It has some cool colors on the board itself and on the wheels. Usage ---------- Note that this is not that fast and it is for a reason. The speed is very acceptable in my opinion for a hoverboard and it's easy to go forward, backward and turn left or right. My son was able to learn the turns and directions very quickly. I would highly recommend this product at this price..

I never had a hoverboard but it is a pretty neat piece of tech.I had my kids and wife cruise around on it. Of the 3 only 1 found it challenging to balance so not for everyone. The setup was easy and the app is cool in that it displays your speed, charge and you can change colors/music if you pair to your smart phone. I found this cool but not something you can mess with while using. The only com was that the battery seemed short and with the weight limit some of the adults like me could not use it. Definitely for lighter people or kids. I wish this had no speaker/lights and longer range and larger weight capacity since those features seem gimmicky.

I bought 2 hoverboards for my grandsons back home in Fiji. One worked fine and the other couldn’t charge and was returned and money refunded. The other one is still working fine and my grandkids are still enjoying it. I want some help in ordering a bigger one a bit bigger with less lights.

This is an awesome hoverboard especially with the app to control the lights etc. My son likes it and he uses very easily in the house and outside. Charges relatively quickly and it is nice that there is a notification sound when the battery is getting low.

Easy to use. It's able to connect via Bluetooth. Great for the kids

This board meets (and in some cases exceeds) the expectations I had when I read the specs. It goes about 6 miles for me, which seems appropriate given that I ride it near maximum speed almost the entire time. And speaking of speed, this thing can exceed its stated speed limit on flat ground, mine will reach about 8.5mph on a flat asphalt bike trail according to the app's speedometer, although it will beep annoyingly at me until I slow back down. Excellent board, great construction, easy to use, app paired quickly and speakers work as expected. Would definitely recommend.

For the most part all hoverboards are more or less the same, but it's the little differences that make them stand out. While there are heavier duty ones this one has a limit of 220lbs. I'm a little over 200, and felt steady and secure and the hover-1 didn't give me any feeling that I was approaching the limit. The wheels have a cool rainbow light pattern. The other lighting on the top can be customized with the app. Pairing it is really easy and straight forward. I like that it can not only custom lighting, but you can play music. Speaker is decent, great for goofing around outside but if you're using it for transport, be considerate and use headphones. It gets loud. You can also track your speed, distance, and battery within the app as well as mind diagnostics It was really easy to get going. My kids got on it for the first time (6 and 9yo)and within minutes they're puttering around the house Battery seems decent so far. Lost about 30% in an hour. I imagine you'd get better without music. N

Granddaughter loved it until it started getting hot when charging then would throw her off as she was riding it. I tried to replace it but they said it was out of the warranty time. Which was just out of only because i bought it a couple months before Christmas so that chewed up some time. I would definitely suggest to by the protection plan!! It was very sturdy. This thing makes fast people look... not fast. I got it for my kid, but found myself using it more than them. This thing rips, and you can even play toons while escaping from your little ones. There is a learning curve, but with help and some guidance I was able to help my 6 y/o learn pretty quickly. I have had it for a while, and it's durability had kept it running smoothly for close to a year now. The 7 mph may not seem like a lot, but It is quite fast when you start riding. You rarely find yourself going the max speed. The battery life is fair. I usually charge it when I'm done with it, and it charges pretty quick also. This product was definitely worth the price.

Bought for my 9 year old for her birthday, and it’s “so awesome. best present EVER!!” She absolutely loves it. Only time she gets off of it is to charge it. She rides it in the house all day while doing everything. Watching videos, eating, cleaning, etc. Love the Bluetooth speaker on it. Really cool feature. The lights are also an awesome feature. You can choose any color and make it solid, flash, go thru a variety of colors, or sync it with the music and they light up in a pattern matching the song (hope that makes sense) the app for it, which controls all the different features, seems pretty cool, just still trying to figure out everything we can do. Definitely satisfied with my purchase.

Hoverboard is great!! Rides smooth, and feels safe enough for younger kids and adults. The lights and speaker make it fun and it attaches to a hover kart super easily .

This is a really good Hoverboard. It does have difficulty going over small pebbles. My son really does enjoy this. Overall a great find!

Used as motor for the cycle we got for our son. Doesn't accelerate too quickly, lights up real bright at night, really nice
