I’ve been using the Hover-1 Ranger for a few weeks now, and it’s been a blast. The build quality feels solid, and it handles smoothly on flat surfaces. The built-in Bluetooth speaker is a great touch — makes the ride even more enjoyable. Battery life easily lasts the advertised range, and it charges pretty quickly. It’s also very beginner-friendly; my first few rides were stable and easy to control. The LED lights add both visibility and style, especially in the evening. Overall, this is a great value for anyone looking for a reliable hoverboard with fun features.

The battery percentage reported by the app is very unreliable. It gives very little warning before suddenly going from 30% to 0%, and when this occurs, the wheels will abruptly break and force the hoverboard to a complete stop while you are riding it. This can very easily throw you off the hoverboard and cause you to fall if you aren't careful. The hoverboard is also pretty loud and there is no way to turn the volume down. The internal buzzer/beeper sounds sounds eerily similar to a bomb timer, so be prepared to have some eyebrows raised if you're using this in a public place. The app itself is easy to set up, but it's a bit glitchy and it is difficult to get it to properly remember which mode it is set in. It frequently resets itself or fails to pair. I didn't have huge expectations for this price point (it's not advertised as a professional transportation device after all), but the very unreliable battery life warnings make me nervous about using this in any place where there might be pavement if the battery isn't completely charged beforehand. The hoverboard itself is fairly easy to ride, but be prepared to charge it often. It will last less than an hour on each charge.

Good balance and nice stability. Very easy my kids 10 yr old and 14 yr learnt in like 5-10 mins. Giod use in house hardwood floor and basement. We havent tried it outdoors yet..!

It was easy out the box pretty much very simple with the app n so forth. On the app I didn’t see Hover-1 “ranger” but I did see others. Nonetheless after connecting I was able to use the app after connecting to the Hover-1 H1. Controlling the lights was not 100 percent effective. Moreover my son was happy with it so I’m happy. It’s pretty much what you get for the price I guess. I’m assuming the newer models have less issues. It had lil scratches as well. Not sure if it was a pre used one

I bought this for my grandson’s 9th birthday and it has been such a hit! It didn’t take him long to master it, and also has a speed govener on it so he cant go too fast and get out of control. The lights change color and are really cool and also it has a Bluetooth speaker — but he hasnt used it yet.

Works perfectly. Charged it and worked right away. Runs smoothly. Bottom lights are a nice touch to its style.

I bought this for my 8yr old and he loves it. The board is well built and looks solid. Setup was easy as you can download an app which can change LED light colors on the board and monitor the battery and speeds on it. Comes with Bluetooth speaker that you can play songs while on it from phone. Has some learning curve at first but once you get the hang of it, then its a lot of fun. We also got an attachment to make a Go Kart for it.

Worked really good at first...easy to control, go fast. But less than 3 months from purchase, it has already stopped charging.

So amazed by the quality and durability of the product. We dod a lot of research on hovers before purchasing and got this one based on a deal but the long charging time,seamless use of app like battery monitoring and quickly connect music, are a huge plus. Hours of fun so far for our 7YO and a hit with the neighborhood kids. Would highly recommend this hoverboard and the brand overall

Very nice hover board but is kinda cheap after so many uses .

Poor quality- charging port detached within one month of receiving the product and Hoverboard would not charge. Was directed to Hover-1 customer service specifically, and they do not answer the phone, and via email they correspond, do not take accountability of terrible quality, and instead tell you to find a repair shop (because they don't operate any) and closed the ticket without any resolution. Highly Recommend you NOT buy this item.

Very good quality product, long charging time and very durable

My daughter loves this! It seems to work pretty well without any glitches or weird behavior. She rode it on a 2 mile trip around a lake. She loves the lights and the bluetooth speaker. She took to this very naturally and looks like a pro! She made me try it and I was able to get around in the dining room without falling and injuring myself!

Lots of fun! The Bluetooth speaker works great and the lights are cool. Mind the weight limits - my boyfriend weighs just over the limit, and he got on it and it stressed it a little bit.

Awesome feel. Does NOT feel like a toy. Handles well with great response. Wear protective gear for sure! Music not as loud as a boom box, sound quality is fair, but thats okay. The kids will absolutely this. Very cool as it lights up.... hoverboarding at night? I guess.
