This scooter is a great, well thought out product! It was a lot sturdier, and heavy duty than expected, which is great! Very fun to ride! Pros: 1. Brakes work great, has a front and back break. 2. The front has suspension to help stabilize the scooter for the bumps you may encounter. 3. The LED screen easily tells you how much battery is left, speed, temperature, and how many miles you’ve traveled. 4. There are headlights and even blinkers! 5. The turn radius makes turning very quick and easy. 6. The ability to fold it up makes it easy to store or transfer. 7. The battery keeps a charge for a long time! (the product says for 22miles) 8. The kickstand works great and has 2 extensions you can pull out to use as foot rests. 9. Keeps speed while going up hill. 10. Has a key to turn it on, comes with a spare. 11. Sleek design looks awesome! Cons: 1. The seat isn’t the most comfortable, but you can live with it. 2. The pegs that pull out on the kickstand for foot rests have no way of locking them in place, so they may get pushed back in when you want them out for your feet. 3. If I were to ride this to a store or something there is a possibility of having it stolen, not sure how you would lock it up or prevent this, though you need the key to turn it on. **Speed only reaches about 19 MPH, depending on how fast you want to go, this may be a pro or con. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun scooter for simple cruise rides, or short transportation!

Great item so far extremely excited and happy small issue yesterday but nothing dealing with item

This scooter is the best of Hover-1’s product line! Seriously so fun to scoot around our close knit neighborhood (the kids are definitely jealous!) No assembly required but it comes in a huuuuge box and is heavy. The scooter is substantial in size and weight; making it feel sturdy. My husband is 6’4” (pictured) and was able to ride just fine. When they say it’s for adults; it really is. Young children physically would struggle to even get on, much less control at the high speeds this machine gets at. The kickstand and odometer screen etc are thoughtfully designed, while the placement of the charging port isn’t ideal. Really fun product!

Bought this to commute to college and around the campus. Very impressed with how fast it can go and how long i can go without charging it. It’s very easy to charge while in class and fits in bicycle stalls like a normal bicycle. My only gripe about it is the front of the hover-bike looks a bit fat, and not too aesthetically pleasing. It reminds me of the mopeds elderly people use. But it’s just something cosmetic, all components of the bike work flawlessly. And i can’t wait for the 2nd gen of this bike to come out! Hopefully thinner and lighter without degrading it’s charge time and MPC (Miles Per Charge)! 10/10 would recommend.

I weigh 280. And it moves me with no problem. I get to speeds of 16.4 mph. Havent tested the range yet. My job is about 6 miles from my resident and it gets me there with about half battery life to spare. I live in nyc. There is alot of traffic here. My hover1 lets me get to where i need to be fast and easy.......if your reading this review.....GO BUY ONE NOW. It is awsome

The HOVER-1 XLS Electric Scooter is a pretty compact, foldable electric scooter. Some say it is heavy, I think it is impressively stout, just what I would expect from a scooter at this price point. It unfolds and folds up very easily - the action is quite intuitive and can certainly be done by most adults. With the kickstand down while the bike is in a vertical position it is surprisingly stable. I was happy to see that it could handle an adult up to 285 lbs. I am about 215 lbs, and It worked great for me – it was a little slow at the start, but once it gets going it’s great. It is also very quiet, as you’d expect from an electric scooter. One thing I was disappointed in is the top speed, it says it will go up to 20 mph, but (I’m guessing because of my weight), I was only able to get it to 16.5 mph. I would have liked it to go faster, but it was still pretty quick. I found the steering to be comfortable and responsive and the breaks to be excellent. The size is a little on the small side for me, as I’m 6’-2” tall, but not uncomfortable – and it folds up nice and compact. The display is clear and it even comes with a headlight, taillight and turn signals!! All in all, it’s a pretty awesome scooter!

Reforms as promised sometimes not as fast as you might like it but plenty of power plenty of staying power lots of fun

What a fun way to get around! The scooter was quite heavy duty; more than I thought it would be. I found it easier to balance on it, considering my age and activity level. The breaks worked great, too. I would definitely recommend this scooter...would make for an awesome Christmas gift!
