    How Green Was My Valley is a great picture! It won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1942 along with Best Director, John Ford, Best Supporting Actor, Donald Crisp, cinematography and art direction. It's a great John Ford picture and looks super on Blu-ray.

    Nothing like owning a great film and not even knowing it. Maureen O'Hara was something special, I don't know that Hollywood ever had someone that stands out as much to me. Either way this was an instant contender in my eyes.

    Good price for one of the great movies that still stands up very well to movies today. Only complaint is I wish it had a digital copy and maybe dvd as well.

    Good old movie. Won multiple awards. Oldie but goodie. As a rule, it is almost always worth watching former "best picture" winners.

    Love this movie, I personally think it's Roddy McDowall's best performance in his youth, happy to finally own it on Blu-ray.

    No special effects needed here. With a collection of fine actors and John Ford at the helm, this film will tug at your heart. Wow!

    John Ford was operating at the height of his powers directing this. Actually beat out CITIZEN KANE for best picture.
