These last 9 years following Ted and company have been a television treat and now it is finally wrapped together in a fantastic send off season. You will laugh, cry, cheer, and every other emotion possible - but it's ok. (and the mother is hot!)

While many people out there are not happy with the way the show ended, I thought it was true to the nature of the show. It always had an unexpected twist, and it was never afraid to take a risk. It ended just the way it began, great!!

This series will stand up with some of the greatest in history. And this being the final season made me so sad. The finale will polarize people for years to come, and may go down as one of TV's most hated. But it all lead to this.

Many people were disappointed in the ending granted this series after all of the years they spent with the characters yet I was satisfied by it. For those that weren't, this DVD includes an alternate ending as a bonus feature.

This is a great show. It had many things connect throughout the years, but had an ending that didn't quite live up to the title of the show. Haven't seen the alternative ending yet. Hopefully it will be a better ending than was broadcast.

How I Met Your Mother season 9 is everything you would want out of a final season. It brings back a lot of jokes from previous seasons and finally answers the question about who is Ted's kids mother.

Ted's kids are so close to getting to do whatever they need to do after what feels like almost a decade of listening to their father describe himym in this final chapter of the saga. As a devoted fan who's religiously purchased each season as it came out, I wish season 9 also came with the same extras as the complete box set. I too was hoping for a beautiful finale, deserving of the series. I now have the answer that carter and bay's always wanted to share, but like other fans, I've had to create my own version. Still, you gotta stay true to the story and I am proud to say that himym is part of my collection of great stories.

You've watched the first eight seasons, now watch the last and see what it all was building to. A great final season to such a unique show filled with likeable characters and hilarious situations.

A great show that stayed great thru the end. The alternate ending should please some folks who hated the other one. I liked it, but wouldn't that have been predictable? This show is dearly missed.

The final season is now available to watch and re-watch anytime we want. I thought the last season was great, and could have been cut to just 13 episodes, but still, a great show has a great end.

This show was funny to begin with and I enjoyed it so much on TV, I bought it to watch over and over again. The behind the scenes stuff is worth it. Just disappointed that this show had to end.

I bought this dvd set b/c I am a huge fan of How I Met Your Mother. I have watched it since the first season and have been hooked. This season was a fair price so I decided to snatch it up.

Perfect way to have a last season of the entire series and the alternate ending is an excellent way to end the show as well. Excellent price, special features and well.... Legen...dary

I really enjoyed the last season of HIMYM. The addition of the mother and glimpses of the life her and Ted would enjoy brought back charm and a sense of completion to the characters.

Thankfully, the producers/ creators/ studio put the alternate ending on the disc. Is this a terrible season of HIMYM? No, but it's definitely one of the weaker ones. At least it's not season 8 of Dexter.

Funny jokes and great acting, sorta like a very long blooper reel. A great experience to watch and can turn any bad day into a better one. So sad they left the airwaves.

I loved HIMYM, and for closure purposes I had to have this. The fact that it had an alternate ending sweetened the deal for me. Unfortunately much like the later half of the series this is a mixed bag. There are some of the best episodes of the series in this set, but overall the quality of the material is middling. The presentation is as good as it can be on DVD, but I am still baffled by the decision not to release on blu ray, The alternate ending should have been the final word on this, but sadly, it feels like a tacked on extra that is there to try and satiate fans.

This has been one of my favorite shows. So sad it ended. I enjoyed with this season getting to know the Mother. The best episode in my opinion was How Your Mother Met Me.

This has the 2 series endings, the one that was shown on CBS at the end of the series, and the alternate footage ending. Both are great wraps for one of TV's best shows!

I've loved the show ever since it aired 9 years ago. This season was no difference, with the exclusion of the ending. I won't give anything away, but it definitely could've been a lot better.
