The Chromebook itself has been ok this far. What I am disappointed in is that according to the model 11a-nb0013dx listed here and also on the box the Chromebook comes in, the Google end-of-support date "should be" June of 2028. Even HP has responded in other comments stating that is the case. However, when you actually power on your laptop, you will notice it is an HP Chromebook 11 G6 EE version which will stop receiving updates in June of 2024. So in 2.5 years from now I will need to buy another computer. That being said I did a cost analysis and what the the current $119 sale price of this laptop, it is costing me ~$47 a year. The other laptops that do actually come with updates through 2028 or 2029 were around $500+. So the per year cost is more. I was going to return this HP but decided I will keep it. Just inconvenient that I have to do this again in less than 3 years.

It’s small, lightweight, works very well, compatible with my phone and tablet. Was very easy to transfer files and connect to all my apps. I just love this chrome book should have bought it sooner.

I am so glad to have my lityle Chrome Book..its like having a miniature Mac....but easy for me to use. I even bought a matching Logitech Mouse Happy Rosh! ;)

Picked this up on sale, great deal for $169. Needed it mainly for long Zoom meetings, also use it for some browsing & streaming. Be warned that it does heat up quite a bit after running for awhile, a little uncomfortable on the lap when it does. I solved this issue with a $20 Aluratek cooling pad from Best Buy, I left a review on that as well (BUY IT, works great and runs quiet). Screen quality could be better, need to look at it straight on for best view. But it's a budget Chromebook so I wasn't expecting to be wowed by the screen. As far as the size of the screen, it works fine for me and it makes it quite portable. Very lightweight. When in Zoom and swiping to where I see all the participants on video as well as myself, quality looks pretty good, I sit about 4 feet away generally and microphone seems to pick up my voice just fine. Chrome software and security updates are supported until June 2024, big plus for me. Comes with Google Perks too when you activate it, I got 3 months free of Disney+, Doom & Doom II free and free 30 day premium subscription to Calm app (there are other Perks as well but those are the ones I went with). Speakers ain't too shabby but again it's a budget Chromebook so don't expect to be wowed but they do the job for me. I love having so many ports, I can have my phone plugged into one USB C port while I use the other one to charge it, can access files on a thumb drive using one of the USB 3.0 ports as well as off of a microSD card, have headphones plugged into 3.5mm jack if I'm not using the Bluetooth while also having the cooling pad plugged into the other USB 3.0 port (which actually has a port on the plug so you don't lose access to it). All of this at the same time! Have to use WiFi as there is no ethernet port but haven't had any issues with it disconnecting, I live in a small apartment though so I'm never far from the router so can't speak on it cutting out in room in a house that's a ways away from the router. Trackpad is a little slow but easily fixed that with adjusting the speed in the settings. Overall, a great purchase if you're looking for something simple. Only major con as I mentioned is that it heats up but the cheap cooling pad fixed that. At regular MSRP of $219 some people may be willing to shell out a little more dough for a better model but when it goes on sale again, don't pass up the deal. Highly recommend.

So far this was a sound buy. I would recommend this buy, but I only had the item for about 3 weeks.

I recieved a Chromebook that was used! Opened it up which had marks on it and immediately a name popped up with a password slot. I am seriously disappointed with Best Buy. This was supposed to be a birthday gift for my daughter.

Tom was on time, diligent in training, uploading apps. We couldn't transfer files from my 2001 mac i book.

The laptop itself seems fine but it was all scratched up when I took it out of the box and the plug looks like it was chewed on.

I am really happy with my new Chrome Book and the price makes me even happier...it is sturdy and speedy and excellent battery life and great camera. this is a great computer for casual use and you could take it anywhere with great resuts. Not to happy with the display best view is straight on.speakers are located on the bottom and you get a muffled sound . I will recomend this item.

Great starter computer, initially bought this to start my small business. The display/brightness is a little weird & It runs great 90% of the time but after running for a while it starts lagging a little bit but overall it’s a great computer for the price

I am a student that was in need of a laptop. The product price was great for me!

I was looking for an inexpensive Chromebook mainly so that I could use Chrome Remote Desktop to remotely log into my desktop and code in bed or anywhere in the house. I haven't found a good way to do this with my iPad. I also wanted the Chromebook to edit documents with more mobility as well. The Chromebook fits the bill for my main intended uses. I haven't yet tried SSH apps, which will be another use. I was hesitant to get an HP due to bad experiences with my previous two HP Windows laptops. I went ahead and tried the HP Chromebook, largely based on the price point. I'm not disappointed at all. Everything is surprisingly responsive. Even when I have a bunch of Chrome browser tabs open, the machine doesn't get bogged down. The display is better than I expected, especially in terms of resolution. The picture changes significantly with viewing angle, but you can only expect so much at this price point. Ergonomics are decent. I wish there were actually trackpad buttons for left and right clicking, but it's not too bad, once I disable the 'tap to click' option, which for me results in too many spurious clicks. I don't understand the giant left-alt key, as it seems like better use of that keyboard space could have been made. Still, the keyboard has a good feel to it, and it has a pretty good size choice and placement for all of the keys.

This is a Chromebook, not a full-powered Windows machine, so don't expect much memory or the ability to do much more than use Google apps. But because it's a Chromebook, it's immediately ready to go as soon you open it up. It charges quickly and uses little power so that charge lasts a long, long time. I bought it so my son will have his own device for remote learning, but I love it so much I use it all the time myself. It runs Zoom just fine. Because I already use Google Chrome, I was able to quickly set up the computer with my account and use it practically right out of the box. I'm thrilled with this little laptop.

Great PC for school aged kids. Durable and user friendly. Only downside is the incompatibility with Mindcraft which is one of my kids favorite games.
