Nice chrome book for kids that use them at school. Light weight, sturdy and easy to use.

Chromebooks are a unique breed -- essentially a laptop web browser. I'd bought a new laptop for work that had many problems. My old laptop was too slow and heavy for my work job. While my new laptop was under repair, in desperation I bought a Chromebook to get by. Well, it filled the bill and then some. It is easy to use and runs beautifully. If you're like me and open tab after tab, it is great to find a machine that doesn't crash or hiccup. The battery never quits, either. I use it to present information to people in their homes, and I carry a power cord just in case, but I never need to use it. I just charge it up at night for the next day. I still use it instead of my repaired laptop, due to its light weight, ease of use, and battery life. About the only negative is that on an 11" screen, my fingers are often a little large for touchscreen purposes, and I need to use the touchpad to be accurate. Also, the touchscreen doesn't work quite as well in the extreme periphery of the screen. Response is quite predictable and you just get the hang of it. Even though I can't download programs to it that I normally use for work, I still favor the Chromebook over a heavier laptop. With remote screen access, I can still reach my home computer for downloaded program if I need to. All in all, this thing worked perfectly right out of the box, and three months later, I'm very satisfied with it.

Great choice for basic high school class work. Fits easily in backpack and good economic alternative to more expensive model. Not the fastest notebook but serves our purposes well.

An amazing product. Love it!! does everything I need it to do. Lightweight , easy to carry, size is perfect.

I wanted to find something small but be able to do everything I needed for school. I am able to use my google docs to write my papers and not worry about saving it because it saves automatically. I am able to use some excel apps for my math as well. It automatically connects to open wifi which is nice. I recommend downloading the offline google docs so that way if you need to write a paper you don't have to worry if you don't have internet.

The computer is easy to use small and convenient nice computer with a touch screen at a good price.

I have been a Chromebook user for 4 years and love them. I have a Surface 3 and iPads, but always reach only for my Chromebook. This HP has great build quality and was extremely responsive. I bought the touchscreen only because I feel the screen clarity is better than your conventional non-touch 11 inch screens due to the screen glass. However, as I was pushing the end of the return period, the HP re-booted randomly 3 times one night during light use so I decided to return not knowing what the issue was. I did read later that some Chrome extensions do not play nice with the OS and that could cause the crash and re-boot, but I do not have this issue with my Acer CB3-111 Chromebook which is configured with the same extensions. I would buy this HP again, but would like to read more longer term reviews.

I'll keep this short but it is a great chromebook for the price. Does what it should well. Is it the best option out there if cost was not an object, no...but when I found it on sale for $199 I can feel great about the device and the performance it delivers. The screen is great. Trackpad is much better than the average for chromebooks. Keyboard is good but a bit clicky.

Quick, compact, easy to carry around. Great for email and internet on the road, plus it's touchscreen.

I bought the chrome book for my son to bring back and forth to school He is loving it for school work. I find it a little delicate as I am used to a desktop MAC. It scratches easily but with a case on it, no one knows It is very fast and he can write and turn in papers. Other than cosmetics and being a little delicate it is a great computer for the price
