Returned Asus 13.3 inch chrome book to get this one. The Asus was having issues randomly shutting off, even after a warranty repair. No problems with this HP about 4 months in, used daily as my kid takes to 7th grade in backpack for schoolwork. She uses the touch screen more than thought would.

Powerful and quick, with a great touchscreen. Good battery life too.

This computer has been great, I have had no issues with it. I had a HP computer before I bought this one, so I knew I was going to get another one. The price was just right to since my husband can't work, I can't spend a lot of money. I work in a daycare center & I have to take Early Childhood classes on line, I did my first class the other day, it was great.

Purchased for my daughter to bring back and forth to school. She loves it. For me working with a laptop all day, it's a little awkward to use this. Compact but works great.

Purchased for my 12 year old and it is perfect! Easy setup, starts quickly and shuts down fast, child safeguards can be put in place (I can see everything she does from the chrome website) and the graphics/sound are great! She loves the touchscreen! Highly recommend this product!

Touch screen is great; takes only second to start and fast.

It is a great computer. Runs really quick. My daughter uses it for 2nd grade homework like I-ready. She also uses it to play web-based games. She loves it and the touchscreen is an awesome touch. Only thing I wish it had more security features. I wouldn't want to block all websites and just allow some. Keys feel really nice and it's a sturdy computer. Great option to expand the memory with SD card. GREAT BUY!!!

I got this as a replacement for the non-touch screen version. Wow, what an improvement. The non-touch screen is washed out and appears "out of focus". This one is crisp and bright. Love the HDMI output for watching Amazon movies on my TV without the need for casting.

I recently purchased this chrome book because I was tired of using my desk top. It is so convenient and very fast. I would definitely recommend this to parents who would like to purchase this for their teenagers.

Bought it for my 12 year old daughter to get online and watch videos. She uses office online for reports and it works great for her. I have trouble trying to get to figure it out, but it is that it is a different operating system than I am use to. I have always used Windows, but I can peck around this one.

We bought 2 chrome books for out boys to use at school. They impressed me on how quick and responsive they touch screen is. One thing I would warn you of is that if your child is going to use this for school, there is a good chance that you will need to take it to the school IT to have them approve access.

Since the kids use Cromebooks in school we thought we'd get them one for Christmas. They were very excited to get it and it's been working out great. I like the ease of chrome books and the fact that security software is not needed.

The Touch-screen Chromebook is easy to use and provides good basic apps utilizations which are useful for email reading, listening to music from various sources and basic Word applications. I would highly recommend the tablet for these basic functions; although the user may find it lacking some more advanced features needed for every-day navigation.

I like this computer because of the small size and fast speed.

This is the best little computer I've had. For years, I've tried finding the perfect balance of battery life, performance, and size. I had a HP netbook years ago and loved the form factor, but at the time Windows 7 struggled with the hardware. Moving to a tablet, the battery life was amazing, but I never really reached for it finding anything I could do on the iPad I could do on my phone. On top of that I was limited by what I could do on the tablet by the software. Finally, comes the chromebook. Running Chrome OS, I've found the searched for balance of speed, battery, and ease of use. Most of what I do is web based, and using this "laptop" to answer emails, browse Facebook, or watch youtube/netfix is just perfect. The 11.6" is easy to carry all day long, and at home I plug in the 23" monitor I've always used. But really, this HP Chromebook is great.

I was looking for a solution to replacing my old laptop with a device that best suited my fewer needs now in a computer and was introduced to the Chromebook. The more I use it, the more I find to like about it. It really does meet my needs!
