Keep expectations in check, and this is a good tablet. The screen is sharp and flicker free, with a wide color gamut. The speakers are terrible. Performance is fine, and heat emissions are kept in check. Battery life is terrible. This is not speedy like an iPad, however.
The iPad is great, but the arbitrary limitations are grating,
Get it on sale as a secondary device. Otherwise, not worth it.

This is the perfect tablet for zoom I don't recommend it to do anything more than that Basic browsing but this is what I'm using it for Zoom in browsing when I bought it for Black Friday Worth every penny you could plug in any Bluetooth keyboard and it works just fine or just do something else with a keyboard in general you can unlock it out of S mode for free which you'll have to do if you wanna use it for zoom which is very easy there's the regular HP bloatware that's annoying but with a few easy clicks you could get rid of it just download cc cleaner turn off all those annoying pop-ups after that you have an amazing computer the cameras amazingly fun to play with and it's really fun use surface pen is probably the best I like how it has buttons and you can program them to everything which is great it magnets to the side of the laptop which is sweet
pros
Battery life is great
Screen is good for the size
It's late enough to want to hold in your hand all day long
The cameras really fun to play with and it's very unique to show off and fun to show people what you're writing
The angles are great
S mode is not bad if you want to just do simple browsing
Perfect machine for zoom and homework on the web
cons .
don't expect to powerhouse here though just make sure I have to say that
HP bloatware is annoying
Aftermarket keyboard is a little expensive but it works in landscape and portrait mode tell me a bad thing as it's not back lidded I would probably work out the money for it if it was back lidded other than that I would just suggest a Bluetooth keyboard

The size and basic functionality is good. But it is not a tablet. No swiping action. Gets very hot. Shuts down randomly. Does not have headphone jack as advertised. Can't use basic apps as most tablets can. Could not download apps like Peacock, British Airways, or any ereaders even when not in S mode. It is also heavy for the size. Not a satisfied consumer.

Shop this against the Surface Go

5 stars for value compared to the Microsoft Surface Go (current model is Go 3), a compact version of the classic Surface Pro line. The Surface Go is still probably the safer purchase, since it owns this niche (10.5”-11” Windows tablets) and there are after market attachable keyboards while it’s hard to even find the OEM keyboard for this HP 11 during its early months of release.
BUT this HP 11 has some definite good points:
* Build quality rivaling or matching the Surface Go.
* Snap on keyboard (in some variant kits) will mount with a direct connection in both portrait and landscape mode (great for writers.
* Clever magnetic removable kickstand works in both landscape and portrait modes.
* Kickstand has strong magnets. It pops off rather than breaks if pushed open too far. With it removed the device itself is significantly lighter for hand held movie watching.
* Front firing speaker slits oriented to landscape mode. Good enough for casual use.
* Windows 11 already loaded. Enhanced hardware security feature is supported and enabled (not on Go).
* Unrestricted and free upgrade to Home Edition Windows 11. Go to Activation in Settings to switch out of S. However S protects better against phishing attacks if it’s going to grandparents.
* 11” here is significantly larger than the 10.5” for the Go 2 and Go 3 (Go 1 was 10.1”).
* Approximately the same “book” style screen proportions as the Surface lineup (both Go and Pro). This makes sense since, in full screen mode - better on devices less than 14” - their is less wasted screen space on the left and right when typing documents (widescreen style is better for wide screen movies, or in big monitors, for multiple windows).
* Standard 128gb on the storage, and it’s fast SSD not slightly slower eMMC.
There are a couple of negatives. 1. The nice quality rear camera rotates to the front for video calls. I worry the robot arm could be damaged much more easily than separate and fixed cameras. 2. The camera is off to the left side in the normal landscape mode; Go places it in the top middle. 3. No front cover, unless you buy the keyboard (included in some packages.
Keep in mind that neither RAM nor storage are user upgradable on this or most competitive tablets.
In use, after seemingly endless software updates, this operates smoothly with no pain points. It doesn’t feel fast like any current iPad, but doesn’t feel laggy like the typical Intel Celeron N4020 Bkack Friday blowout Windows laptop. This comes with an almost i3 level N6000.

I really like the camera. Build quality feels solid. Beware there is no headphone jack so you'll need a USB c headphone or Bluetooth. I like that HP and best buy offered a version without the keyboard. I have a very nice Bluetooth keyboard/trackpad that works fantastic with it. I decided to keep it in S mode for best battery performance. It IS limiting, but I would expect it to work fine out of S mode, but you'll probably take a hit in battery life. Would recommend to a friend or family member with the note that you'll use this device for internet surfing and office. It's not designed to be a gaming device.

Was looking for a lower cost Microsoft Surface alternative. I bought the HP 11" on a great sale. The sub $200 price is fair the regular price is too close to better devices. If you want the keyboard you will find yourself spending another $150! Thats a no go for me. The device is well built but the price makes this too expensive for what you get. The CPU is slow for anything more than web surfing.

This tablet was very affordable and is a nice size for taking notes. However, it didn’t turn on for a few weeks, even after charging it. After a while, i got it to turn on and i haven’t had that issue again.

The screen is great. Super bright and that 1440 is really nice. That 4gigs of ram though is the real issue. By the time windows boots up most all of that 4gigs is already gone. Its just too much of a bottleneck. Ultimately I returned it.

It’s better than people claim it is. The system is capable of running visual novel games (for example) without many issues. The screen has great PPI, colors and the size is nice.
This tablet is definitely hot and uncomfortable to hold, so it’s largely a stationary device unless you want to have dry skin. May be ok if you live in Siberia .
Multitasking was not an issue like other users suggested. It’s actually capable of multitasking but it’ll vary.
This is a good tablet if you find it on sale (~200$) and if you want it for retail price, just get a laptop and make sure it runs cool.
Build quality seemed good. Some nice accessories were included.

This device is hindered by the low ram and weaker chipset, that said I use it daily but patience is needed.
Display is ok, not overly bright but enough to get by with, tons of glare.
Touchscreen response is great (surprisingly) and speakers are adequate at best

Good performance for media consumption. Gorgeous display.
Bad battery life (~5-6 hrs). Loses 1% battery per hour even when idle. Heats up during operation and gets warm. Less heat dissipation due to insulated backside stand. Video calls start well but gets laggy after a few mins from to CPU throttling due to heat generation.
Overall, not good for productivity (especially video calls). Returned.

Nice finish and size. Nice two-way stand included. If you, like me, need a windows machine on the go, this is a good option, best if on sale. Decent processor for one task at a time, due to the 4GB Ram.

jam packed with the worst features of win11. I had a surface RT back when it was new and this tablet is the direct offspring of that tablet. Solid build, nice looking hardware, poor battery life and poor software battery management. Windows is great for desktop computing but not so much for tablets or even most cheap laptops. I need to install software to continue work mobily, nope, not if it's not in the win store, connect remote or VPN, nope not enough memory or powwa. No edge swipes or other touch gestures, the pen is weird, hovering dot then touch the screen with the nib and hope it's the selection I wanted or accidentally press the weird button on the pen and spend a minute trying to close the extra windows and options that just popped up, gaaah. I bought a presenter mouse just to use the tablet. I have to fingerprint in and it rarely recognizes on the 1st go, then asks for my pin but the keyboard doesn't pop up automatically.....on an on with the un-intuitiveness.

Our local daily newspaper just went to online only, so this was purchased specifically for reading news at the breakfast table. For that use, it's fine. Screen has good detail, plenty bright (we dimmed it down), and touchscreen feel is okay, though not quite as smooth as the ancient iPad it replaces. (Safari hanging up as too old to update.) Battery life not great, but easy for us to plug in. Overall this HP seems a good value at the $200 price point.

Great tablet, has been an instrumental tool for mobile use integrating work-based systems on the go. Instead of lugging the laptop just bring this little guy along. Love the ability to take handwritten notes and transfer them into other types of files using the bamboo pen. Love the features and ease of use.

Sold feel, decent storage, ok performance (so long as you're fine with being confined to S mode), this all make it stand quite tall over Surface contenders on its class. It's rather heavy, and thick especially after attaching the cover. Given its screen size, I just find it hard to make use of it as a tablet, so I recommend add the keyboard, it's worth the extra dollar you pay. So my overall rating is actually 3.8.

Well built Windows Tablet for the casual user

This is a great Tablet for casual users. The overall build quality is excellent. It is a bit on the “heavier” side which is still really light. It has great placement for all four front speakers and the sound. I’ve found that the Wacom Bamboo Ink is an amazing addition. If you need a good amount of processing power then you may need to check out some other options though.
