So, I bought this for my Dads step dad. He is not good with computers nor does he even know how to use them. It was between this and an iPad. We were sold to get this item. We returned it the vet next day. It is not user friendly. Very difficult. For the money, you’re better off with a laptop or iPad.

The first time HP introduced a ChromeBook I wanted to get it right away, because I'm 52 year old, and this HP ChromeBook has 14 inch screen size. I used it for while but has to sold it because of the poor resolution beside being a nice screen size. I spent money for the screen size, but the resolution was not good. There were some other issues as well: the fan started making noise after few days that was annoying. There were some blemishes from day one, including a stripped screw and burned-in, light blue pieces of plastic under the body which I don't care because it was underneath the laptop. HP can really make this machine usable by improving quality. I sold the machine because of few things I mentioned above. HP has another ChromeBook with free 4G for life. It's around $ 50 or so more. I was tempted to buy that as my next ChromeBook, but what if I get same sub-par quality and poor screen resolution? I would not like to buy it again unless the next generation of ChromeBook from HP offers higher resolution, and also fanless machine, during the 'upcoming' holiday season.
