The overall appearance is great! This is a beautiful machine. It charges quickly and holds a charge for quite a while. I bought this for my 10-year-old daughter so she could do schoolwork, participate in the apps for her class, play some games, and watch her shows. The description read that they do not install a DVD/CD ROM drive to achieve the compact form factor. So I assumed that an external DVD ROM drive would serve well. Unfortunately not. It would be beneficial to add to the description of this product that it cannot play DVDs. It also cannot handle the Hulu app to watch shows; however, can accommodate Netflix. I'm not sure why it can handle one and not the other, but that is what I experienced. I also bought a Micro SD card to add to the storage space. I am savvy with PC’s, but could not get this device to store her apps or downloads to this card even when I changed the settings. It all went to her internal storage. I downloaded an app to try and manage files; that was unsuccessful possibly due to my lack of familiarity with the quirky storage and access of files on the Chromebook. The only things that went on the Micro SD card were her videos and pictures that she recorded and took. For my purposes, I would have been better suited to buy a smaller, less expensive laptop vs a Chromebook. However, a Chromebook would be well suited for someone who wants to search and shop the web, check facebook, play a few simple games from the Google Play store, and watch a show or two on Netflix. I'm not sure what more it can handle than what I've listed. I also had to send it off for repair a month and a half after owning it. The battery was overheating, the device wouldn’t turn on, and the case started to bulge where the battery is located. We are currently waiting to hear if they can repair it or not. In short, I bought the wrong device for my purpose. That doesn't make this a bad system. Just do some research and be informed of its capabilities before you buy it. You want to ensure it will match your needs.

The screen is large and very easy to read; graphics are great. The battery life is quite good. This is a fine machine for a good price. I would buy it again.

I purchased this for one of my daughters after my other daughter purchased a similar one a few months earlier with her birthday money. Both girls love them and use them all the time at home and school. They were used to using Chromebooks at school so these were simple for them. Set up out of the box couldn't be easier, it basically just needed an email address. (I believe it does have to be a gmail account, but I'm not 100% sure of that)

This was for my daughter who mostly does computer games that don’t like to load on most computers. Webkinz and Facebook games mostly. She kept getting viruses on her laptop so this solves that problem. Limited storage but google drive helps with that if needed.

I love my chromebook, it's my 2nd. This chromebook is so easy to set up and so easy to use. I'm no techie-I need easy. It is perfect for me, even the color. I chose white for a change and was pleased at how it gave my space a more uncluttered look.

The reason I gave 4 stars is that after connecting to Wi-Fi we had to change passwords on most of our accounts. We were told some pC’s do not pick them up.

This was a gift for my son, and he said it is just like the ones they use in school. He likes it, long battery life. He’s enjoying it.

My daughter is learning a lot from this laptop. With the ease of setting parental controls on it I don’t have to worry about what she’s seeing. Great product.

Purchased for my 14 year old for basic needs and school work! Great so far!

This would probably have been a decent Chromebook, but unfortunately, I had to return it because Best Buy had the wrong info on their site. It was listed as a 32gb storage, when it was actually a 16gb. We didn't realize it until we opened it and looked at the storage within the computer system itself. We bought it as a 32gb and that's what we needed, so it was a no go for us.
