The micro edge of screen makes it a bit smaller than other 14 inch models.... almost an inch, so it fits in bag better. also it is full HD which is much better than the HD models. Upward facing speakers provide better sound than others that are mounted on the bottom.

I needed to replace an old Chromebook, and the Black Friday price on this one was hard to beat. The computer is sturdy but light, and it functions excellently. The size is a little bigger than my old Chromebook, which I like, but not as big and bulky as a full size laptop. Great for traveling. I highly recommend this.

this thing is great BUT, I find it really annoying that the usb3 lights on both sides of the laptop keep flashing at night when idle and you close the lid. the lights of the usb 3 ports keep flashing and blinking in and out in the middle of the night, I can't have this in my room when i'm sleeping because its really annoying to have the lights flashing in and out. I hope a future update fixes this because, its really annoying and useless. otherwise, it does youtube and websurfing from the couch very well. right before this, I had a really good i3 windows 15" laptop. for some reason, I just switched to a chromebook. IDK why. maybe I will give windows a second chance if i find a good deal and a slim sleek chassis like this one, but until then, I will just have to deal with the blinking usb 3 lights, Best Buy, if you can update this chromebook to remove that annoying usb 3 lights flashing while sleeping idle, then please do it. It will make this chromebook perfect. the ips screen is really good.

Pretty good little laptop for doing web-based activities. Screen is very clear. Keypad and trackpad feel cheap but you get what you pay for. The microSD slot is nice for extra storage.

I've been looking for a chromebook that i can travel with for a great price. this chromebook is definitely it. Great sound and great battery life (about 11 hours of usage with constant video streaming). Display is really good except if you're using outdoors, it's hard to see under bright sunlight.

Very good price for chrome book. Very easy to use and connected to internet with ease. App downloads were very easy. Comes with long charger cord which makes it easy to use in many different locations. Shared info on where to purchase to friends with an interest in buying a laptop.

I recently purchased this item on Black Friday. This laptop was easy to set up and even easier to use. My 11 year old uses this laptop for virtual school and has not had any issues. This HP is extremely thin which is a plus. I definitely believe it was worth it and the price was not bad.

So far, so good! Have owned the product for about a month now and I haven’t had any issues. There was a slight screen flicker, but a quick google search revealed a quick fix (turn down the brightness). Very happy with my purchase. Not bad for a previously owned item.

My daughter was on need of a new laptop for school and this was perfect for her. We gave it to her for Christmas and she was thrilled to have gotten a new laptop. The look of it is very nice and sleek and it is very light weight. I don't use a Chromebook, but she said it was great.
